Hotel en el centro

Muy buena ubicación en el casco histórico de Tarifa. Antes de llegar, Lourdes nos dio todas las indicaciones pertinentes. Esta a pie de calle pero no se oye nada. El apartamento don Julián es muy espacioso y tiene cocina aunque no la utilizamos, solo el horno microondas para calentar agua. Solo estuvimos para dormir y estuvimos muy agusto. Las camas grandes y cómodas. Volveríamos a alojarnos.

Es muy complicado aparcar por la zona aunque Lourdes nos mandó algunas ubicaciones. Las almohadas no me resultaron muy cómodas, eran más bien cojines. Eche de menos un perchero en el baño y algun otro espejo. Tiene un hervidor pero tenia un poco de agua dentro y estaba sucio.

Apartamento silencioso de interior

El apartamento era muy silencioso. Las vistas desde la terraza valen la pena. La encargada era muy amable y me dio buenas recomendaciones.

Que no había nadie, fui en temporada baja y no me crucé con nadie, ni en la recepción. Todo se hacía por mensajes de whatsapp. El apartamento daba a interior sin vistas, solo se veía un poco de cielo y partes de atrás cerradas de otros edificios. El loft en si era poco acogedor.

Good vibes in Tarifa

Amazing place to be!!! With my mother we wanted some nice relaxing days even I had to work remotely in the morning it was perfect she could enjoy some walks while I worked and then we would do things together there are plenty to explore around!! The place is amazing. The people who are careing it are very nice and helpful. Also there is good vibes between the guests. If I can I will 100% come back and stay for longer period.

Only little complin is thar wiffi wasn't really working at the apartment but there was no peoplem in the comon areas and outside. It is an old building so I understand that it can be tricky to pass the signal in those stone walls. That is part of what makes the stay charming 😉

Really enjoyed our stay in this chilled out place - would choose here again if we come back to Tarifa !

Great location in old town, just up the road from lively restaurants but very quiet in our rooms. We had two adjacent apartments on ground floor with a shared terrace with private bathrooms, plenty of space. Very clean room and house cleaned daily. Lovely friendly cleaners who offer to change towels/sheets when needed. Beds look basic (on pallets) but were really comfortable, we slept so well. Didn’t use shared space much but well equipped and lovely view from rooftop terrace. Great communication with girl running the place, who was also really friendly and helpful. Nice touch to organise a bbq with all guests and create a WhatsApp group which created a community feeling.

Nothing really. Maybe add a few sun loungers on rooftop terrace. Wifi didn’t work too well in smaller apartment.

Friendly staff, amazing location!

Surfer’s Residence was excellent. The staff were so helpful and friendly, the property was clean and comfortable and the location is amazing!

Fantastic accommodation in tarifa

Lourdes was very helpful and accommodating prior and through our stay. So thank you! The apartment is well located in the old town. An easy walk to the beach and it has plenty of bars/restaurants just around the corner. And the view from the terrace is great too It’s specious, comfortable and very clean. And it was really quite despite having many other guests. We’ll definitely stay there again- it’s a great spot

Amazing stay

The Surfers Residence is perfectly located close to the center of Tarifa but just far enough to be in a calm area. The terrasses are great and are perfect to meet other residents. The staff is lovely, they organised a bbq (great meat and vegan options) so we met the whole residency which was a great plus for the rest of our stay. Many thanks to Jo and the team, we’ll be back!

Awesome one-night stay in Tarifa

The location is excellent and the room (Don Juliaan) was spacy and nicely decorated. On their website it says that the room is for two, but there were three beds and plenty of space for the three of us. The staff was super friendly and the communication worked very well. What is there not to like, this was a superb experience 🤩

No receptionist. Waited and hour

Central and clean

We wanted to waive the fee(as booking.com gives the option) as we wanted to postpone our trip - and being the busy season we thought it would be waived as many people would want to stay in tarifa and the room would be filled immediately. It wasn’t waived so we continued the trip, the owner thought we cancelled so did not answer any of our calls (we waited an hour outside) until they finally apologized. We were able to get in then after waiting in the heat. We understand it’s a miscommunication but when you are managing a hostel it’s your job to ensure you check all check ins and when they are arriving .

The best apartments in town

Very clean and well located. The rooms are well set up for long stays and short stays. It is very well run and looked after and the communication is very good. I would recommend the apartments to anyone.
