Caught in the Sun is a charming new 4 bedroom, 4 and half bath beach house that sleeps 14 with two balconies, and a front covered porch. This house is located in Seacrest Beach tucked between Alys and Rosemary Beach on scenic Hwy. 30-A. The family-oriented haven is overflowing with activities on site, and nearby including the famous 12,000 sq. foot lagoon pool, shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, bike rentals & trails, and a general store. Access the free beach tram service to the private deeded beach and relax on the white sandy beaches and cool off in the emerald green waters of South Walton.
This home is the ideal retreat for multiple couples and families featuring an open living room and kitchen area perfect for entertaining. The kitchen is a chef's delight with custom cabinets, granite countertops, and stainless appliances. The large kitchen island provides ample space for prepping delicious meals and additional seating at the bar. The dining room table seats 8 comfortably, plus an addition 4 at the counter and 4 at the card table. The spacious living area has ample seating for everyone and a large flat screen TV provides family entertainment for relaxing after a day of fun in the sun.
Bedroom 1: On the main level, there is a master bedroom with a KING bed and a big, beautiful walk-in shower, dual vanity and walk in closet.
Upstairs are 3 more bedrooms and a separate kid’s TV/Play/Seating area with sleeper sofa.
Bedroom 2: A large master-suite with king bed and easy access to the rear balcony with seating for 4 and lovely nature views. Its luxurious bathroom has a large walk-in shower and double vanities.
Bedroom 3: A roomy bedroom with queen bed and access to the large front balcony. This bedroom has a large closet and private bathroom.
Bedroom 4: The bunk room with beds for up to 8 is a great place for all the kids. This room has 2 double queen bunks that allow for up to 8 guests. The bunk room has its own bathroom and is adjacent to the kid’s TV/Play/Seating area.
All bedrooms have flat screen TV's, spacious closets and en-suite bathrooms.

We had a great family vacation at this property. Mr. Chris was a great host. The only thing we regret was that we accidentally left our baby bottle warmer there. We are sure that it will be helpful for the next guests with babies:) We will definitely come back again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay and the property was beautiful. Upon arrival we were informed by the community that the check-in procedure had changed, requiring us to navigate to a different location to retrieve the welcome packet that we were told would be delivered, but it wasn’t a huge deal. Overall, the home was lovely, and provided us with plenty of space, but did not meet our cleanliness standards. The water dispenser was broken on the refrigerator, the kitchen was showing significant signs of wear and tear, and the walls are in need of a good cleaning. We were disappointed that one of the bikes was damaged when we arrived. We appreciated the prompt communication with the owner.

The house was just what we expected from the photos and description. Plenty of room for our party of 12 adults and teens. The owner was responsive to our questions and needs throughout the week. It’s a great location close to all that Seacrest and Rosemary have to offer and a darling neighborhood.

The home was SO spacious! We had 11 people. We definitely could have had 5 more. All of the rooms were a perfect fit for all of my guest. My older kids loved the bikes! They loved the outdoor balconies. We had room for 4 cars to park in the driveway. Lots and lots of things within walking distance. The pool was massive. There were probably 75 people in and around and it did not feel crowded at all. We had and amazing week!!! Would definitely choose this house again ♥️

The house is bigger than you can see from the pictures, we had plenty of space and privacy for 2 families of 4. Each room with it's independant bathroom is a great plus. The house has an storage room outside with a loot of extra stuff for your beach trip. The neighborhood is perfect for long stays, great pool, restaurants and beach at walking distance. The shuttle service to the beach is nice if you mind walking 3 blocks.

This property was great! The location was perfect, great access to downtown Rosemary. The pool was amazing!
We did not make it to the beach (we were only in town for a wedding weekend), but it seemed easy enough to get to.
Some complaints are that the HOA is very strict. They told us to move our car when it was *literally* 1 inch of tire on the sidewalk.
Also, communication with the host was sometimes slow.
Overall, I highly recommend! The pricing is some of the best in the area and the home is gorgeous.

We absolutely loved our stay at Seacrest Beach! The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable for our group of 16. The added balconies were a great place for the kids to hang out and to play games. The pool is AMAZING! The option to ride the golf cart trolleys to the beach and the pool was a huge bonus. Kept our cars dry and sand free. The neighborhood has cute shops and restaurants within walking distance. We are already considering booking the house again next year because we just loved it so much!

Comfy Cottage in a Beach Community
Our two-family group enjoyed the stay in this comfy and spacious cottage. We ran into an issue upon check but everything was quickly resolved and we appreciated the prompt response from the host. The property had everything we needed. There was a tram service available to take us to the beach. The kids loved the large lagoon pool. This is one of our favorite areas to vacation. The surrounding beach communities are very charming.

Great layout and location but place needs some serious TLC.
The place had a great layout and was in a great location but it seemed minor maintenance had been lacking. When we arrived there was trash just thrown out by the trash can on the ground. Several interior doors would not lock including 3 bathroom doors and the door to the main floor master bedroom. There was supposed to be 4 adult bikes and there was only 3. One of the bikes was not usable cause the wheel was bent. Another bike was usable but unsafe due to the fact the handle bar was bent. Most of the issues are minor fixes but really need to be attended to.

We had 3 families stay. The house had plenty of space! We really loved the area and the walk to the beach was quick! I wish the pool was heated and there were a couple bathroom locks not working. Other than that, it was wonderful! Those walk-in showers were SO nice!! Lots of vacuums to help control the sand.

Never wanted to leave
Caught in the Sun is an great property in Seacrest. Loads of room for our party. Kitchen was well stocked, plenty of linen. Furniture was comfortable. Would most definitely stay here again without hesitation. Would recommend buying a new beach umbrella and possibly a new grill but nothing that’s a deal breaker!! Stay here, you won’t regret it!!

Confortable and Well Located
The property was in a great location and had plenty of room for our entire family. It was clean, comfortable, and fairly well-stocked. Our only suggestion would be to have the bikes either repaired or replaced entirely. They appeared to be a bit older. One had a flat tire, one was missing all the grips on the handlebar, and a couple of the other ones were rusty and you could not adjust the seat. We ended up renting two bikes because of that. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay and the instructions received via email prior to our arrival were spot on.

Nice place but needs a refresh!
I loved the layout and loved the style of this place. It was perfect for our two families (4 adults and 6 kids), but the towels needed to be replaced (they STUNK even after we washed them twice). The carpet looks quite dirty on the stairs. Even the couches and pillows needed a good steam cleaning. I know it’s a beach house but nobody wants to think it’s other people’s dirt they’re sitting on! Location was great! A little bit of a walk to pool and beach but close to restaurants etc.

A very nice property
This 4 bedroom rental had almost all the features we wanted as 2 people, for a month’s stay, with visitors coming and going. The master suite was huge and attractive with a big closet and comfortable king bed. The guest bedrooms had queen beds and we got no complaints. The kitchen was very well equipped and we loved the laundry facilities. The property is far from the entrance but we enjoyed walking to and from the gorgeous (and deserted) beach. Bikes were available. The smart TV worked well.
On the negative side, we didn’t receive instructions about entering the house, but a phone call on arrival solved that. The door has a numerically keyed entrance. The thermostat had no instructions and was off on arrival on a cold day. One button was missing but we got it working. Thereafter the zoned heating and cooling worked well. Hot water was plentiful. The fiurniture looked inviting but was in fact saggy and uncomfortable and not clean. The whole house needed a good vacuum (food particles in sofa and on stairs). The weather was not warm enough to use the upstairs porch, which was really grimy. The propane tank for the barbecue was completely empty, and we weren’t successful in getting the grill to heat up after we replaced it. Pillows were really uncomfortable. The tram wasn’t up and running until March. The pool was under construction and unusable. Wifi reception upstairs was poor.
But the house was attractive and the neighborhood charming and completely quiet at this time of year. Rose the property manager was responsive and prompt when needed.

Just beautiful and so relaxing. Every amenity was so clean and much thought was put into our needs.
Our family loved the home, location and overall family atmosphere. We rode bikes everywhere (they were provided by the home) ate lunch out at local shops, dinner meals at the home with plenty of great quality dinnerware. We had movies on the lawn for the children, plenty of beach time and some really sad faces on the children when we had to load up the cars today. Try "Caught in the Sun" out. One of our favorites after many years of summer rentals over the years. We had some amazing seafood and desserts nearby too. Nice shopping within walking distance. We will most definitely have a repeat visit in our future 😍

Wonderful for a big family with lots of kids
Beautiful beach home, very comfortable, plenty of room for 11 of us to spread out. We had 6 kids from 4-18 and there was lots of space and kid comfortable furniture. The bikes were a very appreciated touch.
