Struttura posizionata in una zona tranquilla e con una vista panoramica veramente bella . Tony super gentile e disponibile . Nelle vicinanza si trova un piccolo alimentari fornito veramente di tutto. Fermata autobus davanti al residence

The location is fantastic. 15mins to Amalfi town centre by bus but far enough away that it's secluded and peaceful. The aspect and view are exactly as pictured. Buses are generally packed but the drivers are excellent. Our group of 10 never missed one but we were in the stairwells and luggage areas. Tony has the details of local taxi operators that are an excellent option for Sundays when the buses are limited. There is a general store a few mins walk away that has all the essentials including bus tickets and beer. Beds are comfortable, aircon in every room, full kitchen.

The view is stunning! Everything you could need kitchen wise is provided and there is a store only 2-4 min walk away.

the view is amazing, the apartment is spacious and well kept. Tony was amazing. very helpful and resourceful . bus stop 100 meters from apartment and it offers private parking for your car.
the mattresses were a bit hard, but it seems that in Italy that is the way they like their mattresses because we had the same experience in Rome

The view from the property was amazing, the host was great and very helpful. The property had everything you needed, it was clean
The bus stop was just across the street but the buses didn't stop there. 2-3 buses/ h and they didn't stop. A horror experience with SITA bus company. With taxi was very expensive, 50 euro for 4 km, that's why i would recommend to book something more close to Amalfi and not so high. No restaurants in that area and no supermarket. We found a small shop 100 m from property to buy some water and bus ticket. Personally in the future i will book a property more close to the main road or to amalfi because the main bus station is in amalfi and from there you can take bus/ferry to Pasitano, Capri, ravello and this is very easy.

Le Cicale has a great view of the sea and we saw a wonderful sunset from the roof terrace, which was in addition to a terrace area in front of the house with some chairs and a table. The furniture is simple but friendly. The rooms had good sizes. There was everything in the kitchen you needed. No dishwasher but a good sized fridge. There was washing up liquid, some coffee and oil to get started with. There was a folder with information on bus time tables and beaches, and some flyers for tours.
Le Cicale has a nice view because it is up the hill. So to go to the beach you need to walk down and up though a bus route runs along the house. We had cars for which there was parking space (a bit tricky to get in and out because of traffic). There is a shop very nearby with a very friendly woman who speaks good English. There are a few restaurants in walking distance ( a few staircases in between). There is a staircase right next to the house to get to the lower parts of the town.
The man who looks after the house, Toni, was very friendly and responsive. Once we forgot the key and he came to open up the house.
From the house you can walk down to the Fiordo di Furore, thought the path through the fjord is currently not in use. One of us walked it and it was fine but you need good shows. Not recommended when it rains. Some branches lie across the parth. But there is also a way via roads and steps.
Easy to get to the Path of the Gods as the drive to Bomeran, its starting point is a fairly short drive away (20 mins).
We stayed in early November and so spent little time on the terrace. The view of the sea is terrific. You can sit in a sun chair and just enjoy it form the roof top, but there is noise from the road. So if you look for an idyllic spot, this isn't it. Traffic various throughout the day. It is not a big road but it connects different towns and so can be busy at times.
As it is not not on the level of the coastal road you have to walk up and down if you don't have a car. But you can catch a bus, you just need to plan your day. Some of us found the walking a bit tough, others not.

A cute property at the top of the hill, right out of a instagram. Thats right. The views are brilliant. Huge apartment with everything you need. There is a bus stop right outside, but it would be better to have your own vehicle. They have ample parking as well.
Absolutely nothing.

Tony met us at the entrance and gave us keys. He was very friendly. He took us to a local grocery store and brought us a breakfast basket.
The view from the apartment was not nice. Small balcony blocked by trees obstructed the view. No window in apartment which was rather dark.

The view. The comfortable bed. The well equiped kitchen. The starter pack. Did I mention the view?! 🤩 The bus stop just in front of the house. The little shop nearby with homemade products. Le Chicale is such a wonderful place and we enjoyed our stay a lot!
