Parfait pour visiter Athènes

Accueil ouvert 24h/24h très agréable. Nous sommes arrivés à 1h du matin. L’emplacement à côté de la station de métro Omonia est parfait pour visiter la ville d’Athènes.

Le seul petit bémol sont les escaliers pour accéder à l’hôtel et à l’ascenseur.

Hotel muy correcto

Buena ubicación -a veinte metros de la plaza Omonia, super justo enfrente, pastelería para desayunar a la vuelta de la esquina, y muchos sitios para comer o cenar al lado-, a quince minutos andando de la catedral ortodoxa, hotel rehabilitado y muy limpio, personal de recepción amable y receptivo a las solicitudes. En ningún momento tuvimos sensación de inseguridad por la zona aunque no salimos mas tarde de las 12 de la noche.

Habitación muy pequeña (la 4), aunque bien aprovechada, en la calle había algún yonki que otro -como por toda la plaza Omonia-, pero pacíficos (hechos polvo), entorno rodeado de fincas medio en ruinas (pero una buena parte de Atenas es así)

Estancia genial en Athenas

Me gusto la ubicación, la limpieza ya que cada día sin extra nos limpiaron la habitación y nos pusieron día tras día café y té. Había un hervidor de agua y todo muy cercano del hotel . Excelente!!!!! Y se puede pedir comida desde la habitación: pizzas , bebidas a bajo precio . Lo todo muy bueno en cuanto al hotel Elikon ❤️

Lovely hotel in central Athens. Convenient location. Excellent staff that makes you feel welcome. A charming little balcony is a great addition to the room.

Very friendly & helpful staff (ran into some medical issues and they were very attentive, providing numbers to call and addresses). Central location. Clean and tidy rooms. Great value for money.

Although the location is very central is does not appear safe to walk around alone at night as a female traveller. (The hotel cannot help this just something to be aware of)

Great little place for a budget stay. Get to see a glimpse of the real Athens.

Very close to Omonia Square & Metro. A few late night eating and drinking options. Cheap clothes market close by. Excellent supermarket, bakery and pharmacy close by. Not a bad base for exploring the city. Americans will almost certainly describe this area as "sketchy" because of the graffiti, drug users and homeless, but the local police were always visible. Welcome to post pandemic Europe folks ! Comfy beds. Free shower gel. Strong WiFi. Fridge in room. BBC News on TV. The staff we met were all very friendly and helpful. Yes, you can leave your luggage. Metro tip - it is well worth buying the 72 hour Metro ticket for €20. It becomes "live" when you first validate at the airport station. You get unlimited "swipes" in and out of the Athens Metro within 72 hours including your final departure journey to the airport. (The single fare into the city is €9 !) Also, when you arrive at Omonia via the Metro, (probably after changing at Syntagma,) walk forward along the platform, in the direction of travel, to find the best exit. (We unwisely used the "rear" stairwell but the two exit gates would not let my wife through and she was stuck here until the next train came in.)

The air con was an unexpected bonus for us but it wasn't particularly strong. The rooms are very compact as is the bathroom. Three people in three single beds with luggage might struggle. TV remote was problematic but not a big deal. Shower door was missing but Greek bathrooms all have floor drainage anyhow.

Decent for the price.

Easy access to restaurants and bus tour stop.

Parking is away from the property. Had to climb up a lot of steps to reach the main reception. Lift is tight.

Room was very clean and comfortable, Aircon worked perfectly, nice hot showers.

The area was not the best but that was reflected in the price, however it was only a few yards walk from omonia square so it wasn't a problem.

Demi was fantastic

It had 3 beds. That is one bed too many, The room would’ve been fine with just either two small beds or one double bed.
