Lots of decoration and a garden behind the building with chairs and a Choi pond. Very relaxed.
The bin in the bathroom didn’t have a trash bag in it. So I felt a bit awkward about using it but nonetheless.

Located a bit outside of the city, but the stop for the tram 1 and 3 are really close, and both takes you to the city center. Free parking zone.
The receptionist only speaks german, there was only 1 power plug in the room, and the bed could have been a bit more comfortable.

The room was big enough and clean. The bathroom was modern, clean and well fitted.
instructions about locking the front door could have been more accessible.

This pension is a little out of town, but we had a car. It's also a walk up but the rooms are nice and with surprising art on the walls. Eastern European fancy bathroom styling, but I guess Leipzig was the east, back in the day. And we actually had two rooms separated by a door, in case one person wants to sleep while the other is blogging.
The Wifi didn't work for us. That's not a deal killer because we were just there to sleep one night and we have smart phones and there was coverage, but it would have been nice, and it would have been nice to have someone on premises to talk to about this. Bonus points, in English, but the hotel ontological frame is sufficiently limited that gestures suffice in most instances. Plus Google Translate.

Friendly and domestic atmosphere.
The staff doesn't speak English.

The room is fine. Nothing more, nothing less. Good location.
The staff isn't there. Check in is defined between 16;00 and 20:00 but no one was there at 16:00. had to wait for someone to come 30 mins late. The room is totally empty -one plastic cup for the guest to drink from the sink in the bathroom. No soap, no shampoo, no information about the hotel (Check out times for example) and no staff to talk to. on the first day asked for Wifi Password and was told it'd be left in the room. It wasn't. There was no one to complain to and so had no Wifi in the room the whole time. In the end, they called and complained that it was late to check out - 30 mins, and so had to leave now and what more, pay a fine. No courtesy call to remind of check out, no understanding - Especially as they were late to check in and never mentioned check out times. In the end, there wasn't anyone there to check out to - obviously. had to leave the keys at the basket.
Oh and of course no one speaks english.
Joke of a hotel, not worth the time and money and really, an embarrassment for your site to be connected with them.

it was a beautiful room and pretty easy to get into town from there.
don’t go here if you don’t speak a little bit German or you won’t be able to communicate at all. also not the best information on the website.

The bed (mattress) was wonderful! Honestly, it was one of the comfiest hotel beds I remember in all my travels :) The area around the hotel is very quiet, so if your neighbors in the room next to you are polite, you would have the quietest sleep ever.
The room was also very clean and smelled nice :)
Just some useful info for the next guests:
- If you are going to be there on Sunday, keep in mind that nothing in the area is open (don’t trust the information from Google Maps about working hours). The only supermarket working on Sunday is at the train station and it’s 30 minutes away from the hotel by tram. There are no restaurants open on a Sunday in a close proximity to hotel too.
- The reception starts working strictly from 16:00. There’s no point in coming earlier or asking for an early check-in. You wouldn’t be able to store your luggage too.
- if you have any questions, ask the receptionist at once when you’re checking in. You might not see them anymore:) I stayed there 3 nights and never even once saw the receptionist after check-in because of their working hours. So I didn’t have a chance to ask what the wi-fi password was or where to put my keys at check out :)
- oh, and they speak only German on reception:) if you don’t, Translator App might be useful.
It’s not that I dislike it because it wasn’t a surprise but the location is indeed quite far from the city center (~25-30 minutes by tram and 1-1.5 hour walking). It could be a plus for someone who needs a quiet area to rest, but if your interests are in the city center, getting to and from there several times a day could get a bit annoying, because the trams are quite busy.
The area around a hotel might look a bit rough (there are several empty buildings with shattered windows), but I don’t think it’s dangerous, just neglected, because there are some very nice residential buildings close too.

Comfortable bed, and nice room.
Bedside lights didn't work. There was no soap or shampoo provided for the shower, and I wasn't given the WiFi password. The lady at reception didn't speak much English but we got by.

Very simple adequat accomodation. Clean and friendly staff.
There was no shower soap or shampoo, which is normally standard at this level.
