Great hosts,

Serene rural setting but convenient to services and shopping. Hosts were very congenial and accommodating. They raise chickens and this provides some entertainment if you go out and sit in the yard and this means FRESH eggs for your well prepared breakfast. My nicely decorated bedroom was welcoming and comfortable and the bathroom was huge, with a claw foot tub and separate shower.
Bad cell service inside the house is my only possible complaint

No complaints

The B&B is in a nice quiet area outside of Nashville. The room has all the conveniences including toiletries. Everything was well-thought, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable.

Love the home feel. We saw deer and alot of chickens. Loved the bath tub and the size of the bathroom.
The bed was very firm. Not comfortable.

Everything. This place is absolutely lovely. We especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast with farm fresh eggs and the conversations with Kim’s kind-hearted mum in the morning. Booked for one night and ended up staying for two nights. I usually never write reviews but this B&B is probably the best I’ve ever been to and totally deserves 10 out of 10! :-)
Nothing

Enjoyed the beauty and comfort of the Inn and the amazing breakfast with farm-to-table eggs!
Nothing to complain about. Looking forward to the finished pool and spa area.

The setting is serene. So quiet. A perfect getaway place. We actually wanted to stay longer instead of continuing our cross-country trip. We already reserved another stay for our return through Tennessee. So clean, beyond clean. Spotless! The extra touches were so delightful. Custom breakfast cooked to order with their fresh eggs! Bed was so comfortable that I fell asleep almost instantly.
Would have preferred a king-size bed.

The place is awesome. There's not a hotel out there that can hold a candle to the experience and service you get here. Hands down with our a doubt this beats the best high dollar hotel around. Plus each morning you can awake at 830/915 to the smell of eggs bacon and sausage being cook. No hotel I know of offers you that wake up call. Good morning world. I would invite any and all to check this place out, I assure you it'll be an experience like no other that you've had while traveling
Oh ya it makes for a great relaxing and quiet get away for any and all . Great for recharging mind body and soul.. I promise you will not be disappointed.
There was not a thing I did not like. Every thing about the place location price amenities furnishings food people and conversation made it a truely rememberable experience . One well worth telling any and all about!

Unpleasant staff interaction

Breakfast was great. The owner even made fresh homemade muffins for me.
Better reading light by the bed.

The staff was very friendly. Our room was spotless. We enjoyed staying here very much and look forward to staying here again.

Fresh homemade breakfast, and sitting around chatting with other visitors. Home feeling. So much nicer than the last couple of hotels we stayed in.

Absolutely beautiful grounds. House was amazing. Rooms were soundproof so we didn’t even hear the storm.
Nothing.

Owners are wonderful. Helped us park. Cooked us a wonderful breakfast. Talked to us like we were old friends. Would recommend them to anyone.
Didn't like walking upstairs to our room but it wasn't bad.

I occasionally go to B&Bs that aren't too far from my home for one or two night getaways that are for self-retreat purposes. This is a three-bedroom B&B (with chicken farm) that has shared space with the owners such as with the family room, kitchen, and dining room. The owners are very nice and hospitable, and their young grandson is sometimes there as well. It is in a peaceful country-like atmosphere with beautiful trees surrounding just four miles outside of historic downtown Lebanon.
I found my room that I booked called the "Country Room" to be very peaceful, spacious and clean. I loved the clawfoot tub and all the pampering items available to enjoy my little respite away. (There were even candles to use!) There is a walk-in shower for those who prefer. This room has a recliner which was very nice to read and relax in to further enjoy my private space. (The owners told me they have a recliner in all of the guest rooms.) There was a snack basket filled with snacks and treats, and waters in the small fridge. I made some afternoon coffee in the in-room coffeemaker and it was really good. The cooked-to-order breakfast was amazing, featuring fresh eggs from their hens.
If you like chickens, you will love this place as they have a lot out back beyond the pool area. Sometimes baby chicks may be in the family room as well when hatching and incubating, as they were during my stay which was very neat to see. I could not hear them from my room, which is the closest of the three to the family room, as the other two guest bedrooms are upstairs.
There is a lovely back porch which I spent quite a bit of time as the weather was lovely. I read a few other reviews about the pool and hot tub. The hot tub did not appear to be in working order during my stay, and one of the owners commented the water in the pool was too cool right now to swim in.
Nothing really for me. I think for those considering staying just to be aware that the owners live here with a chicken farm, and sometimes their young grandson may be there. None of this was a problem for me, as when peaceful respite was wanted, I had the option to stay in my room as it had everything needed. I think the owners likely engage or not depending on what the guest(s) prefers. (I have stayed in some B&B's where I only saw the owner at check in, etc.) I did not have any time on this overnight stay to see or interact with other guests.

Very casual.

The house and its location is beautiful. it is in the peaceful countryside, but convenient and easy to find. The room was delightful - full of surprises like a reading book and walk-in closet. The bathroom was so nice - loaded with toiletries and anything one might need (except a toothbrush, but I’ll bet they could have supplied that too had I needed one!)
There was nothing I disliked about the property.

I've stayed in five star hotels and never felt comfortable taking baths. This is the first and only place I've felt room was clean enough to take a bath. Loved the country setting and lovely breakfast prepared fresh by our owner and host.
Having to leave.Wish we had more time to stay.

Very clean and well kept. Many thoughtful touches to make grusts comfortable.
There were not any negatives.

Welcomed by friendly owner. The room was big and had every amenity I could think of. Comfortable bed. In the morning breakfast time was flexible and made to order with farm fresh eggs.
Very pretty drive to get there but a little out of the way. Well worth the drive because it doesn’t even compare to a hotel room!

This is a great place with terrific folks. Kim made us feel right at home and prepared a fantastic breakfast that included fresh eggs from her own chickens
Her grandson Blake gave my husband a special tour of the farm. We had marvelous stay.

it was very nice and great that it was far enough away from the interstate but not to far!! really enjoyed sitting around at breakfast and talking to the other couple and the hostess!! felt like family
it was a little warm in the warm but other than that it was PERFECT

Excellent staff, spacious room, fantastic amenities, home cooked breakfast, free treats and luxuries on the room. Huge bathtub. Pool in the spring and summer. The very late check out was very appreciated.
I didn't like that we had to leave eventually.

we loved the farm feel! They allowed us to walk around the property and visit their chickens in the back.
Sorry but we found nothing that we didn’t like or enjoy

We had waffles sausage and fruit on our first morning. The second morning we enjoyed farm fresh eggs toast and bacon. Our hosts were available to us for anything we needed. They carried our luggage upstairs to our room and then back to our car when we left.
First floor bedroom but it was already booked. Our hosts said on our return she would make sure we got the first floor bedroom

Custom made breakfast at the time I asked for, a real breakfast(!), excellent selections, very friendly inn keeper, clean and comfortable. I'd return.
not a thing, this is a good honest place to land with real folks. I'd return.

I discovered this Inn a few years ago. It's operated by a couple who live in the home. They make you feel like you're visiting with family. While it's outside a good sized city, it feels rural and they even have deer and turkey come visit. Kim makes a wonderful breakfast to your specifications as a bonus. She even sent Christmas cookies with me as I was leaving! I also noticed they had a pool built since I visited last.
If it's not in your room, all you have to do is ask and Kim probably can produce it.
