the church bells can be annoying (but they stop at 10pm). also no food options nearby other than the osteria that happened to be closed that evening.

Love nature

Salotto bre is an exceptional place in the middle of nature. Very quiet and clean. Sara was an amazing host and made us feel at home. Highly recommended.

Salotto Bre is as charming in person as it is online with welcoming people and wonderful location!

The management was super responsive to our change in check-in time and making sure we had every thing we needed even though we arrived very late. The breakfast was fantastic - the best of our entire trip!! We loved the modern, bright room and having a balcony to enjoy the view even more. We really appreciated being able to store our bags so we could explore Monte Bre after checkout. We loved lunch at the restaurant when we returned to collect our bags.

We had a hard time keeping water contained to the open shower.

Cute hotel in a beautiful location

Location is on the hill above the city. If you want to get away from the crowd, it is really nice. There are nice possibilities for walking. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful.

There is a church in a close proximity (doesn't ring during the night but starts early in the morning). If you like to sleep for a long time in the morning and you are sensitive to sounds that might be disturbing. On the other hand it also feels quite nice.

In one word: superb! With an extremely joyful host at breakfast :-) and very friendly staff in general. Small room with only the necessary stuff, depends on what you expect from it - shared bathroom was super clean, nothing to complain!

It was such a unique location and so quaint! We loved it and the restaurant and the room was soooo nice and modern. It was great that Sara spoke English too! She was very sweet and helpful.

Beautiful stay in a small mountain village.

Our stay at Sara’s bed & breakfast Salotto Brè was amazing! The location is excellent and the room is really beautiful. Everything was clean, the shower was very nice. I loved the breakfast and the coffee was so good! All thanks to Sara, she is a really friendly and kind hostess.

Lovely B&B to explore Lugano Lake and surroundings

We enjoyed our stay at Salotto Bré. The B&B is located on the Mont Bré and is an excellent location to walk and to explore Lugano and the other villages in the lake area. The room and facilities are good (great beds). Sara is a great and friendly host and also the restaurant service and food (the B&B is located above the restaurant) is great. We were lucky to enjoy breakfast and dinner on the lovely terrace. Great place to stay.

My stay exceeded my expectations, it was absolutely relaxing and I will definitely be back!

The property is absolutely adorable, it’s well taken care of, clean, modern, and is in a great location. although it’s outside of Lugano, the bus is super easy and takes you right to the center of the town, and the bus ride is breathtaking! Sara and Gabriela took great care of me and were so sweet! I hope I can be back again soon!

Good stay in Bré

Great location and view over Lugano. Bré is an interesting village with lots of hiking and cycling routes. Nice light breakfast. Public parking in front of venue with 2 electric car charge points. Great local restaurant just around the corner with delicious food and friendly host.

No access to a fridge. No cooling system (no aircon or fan) in room. Smoke from clients at restaurant terrace below swirled into our room. On a hot summer's night we would've liked to keep balcony doors open, but we hate cigarette smoke ... All in all the cost for the room is on the high side for what you get.

Coziest BnB I’ve ever been to!

Very cozy, clean, comfortable and made me feel like a true guest here! There are a lot of small details that will make you smile and that just show that owners put a lot of their heart in establishing it. Owners were also super helpful! If you are hesitating to take a room with shared bathroom, don’t be - it is like a normal bathroom, is 2 meters away from room door, very clean, shared only between 2 rooms and during 2 day stay I did not have a situation where I could not access it.

If travelling by public transport, you’ll need to plan, as bus to/from this BnB goes only once per hour.

Wonderful Stay in a Cozy B&B

The room was spacious & very comfy. We loved the idea of the B7B being ontop of Mount Bre which had a spectacular view of the city from above. Breakfast was freshly prepared & served with love by the owners. We absolutely loved our stay & would definitely be back

I couldnt say that there's something i didnt like, but i wouldnt advice anyone without a car to stay on Mount Bre since it's around a 25 minutes drive from downtown of Lugano.

The room is beautiful, very clean, the bed extreamly comfortable, breakfast is superb and Sarah the owner has lots of information of routs, travel, museums, Lugano alltigether. Sarah is very available and it feels like she runs the place with love and care.

Toilet and shower are in the room itself with only a screan deviding, might not be suitable when more than one person is staying in the room.
