Outstanding rural area where we didn’t see another person during our stay-exactly what we wanted. We brought all of our food and fishing gear. We had our three year old grandson with us and he loved watching the lizards on the SE side of the house! Great dock for fishing. We grilled on the patio and enjoyed snores there too. Several areas to gather inside to eat and play games in the evening. My boys definitely want to return!

This was our second time staying at the lodge. It is always so comfortable and relaxing. The accommodations are excellent. We love being able to leave non perishables there knowing someone else can benefit from them. We even left items that they sent back to us. The scenery is amazing from deer, ducks and geese to the cows around. We love going hiking around the place. It really is a great family vacation.

Great Labor Day vacation with 3 generations. We caught tons of Fish, loved the seclusion and had an excellent dinner in town at Hiltop. BRING your own bait/tackle! There was very little found in town. Before we left the grown up kids were asking if we could come back because they loved the place so much! Thank you!

This was our 2nd time staying at this house, which I think speaks for itself. Just so people know what to expect, here are some pros and cons. Cons: Food from past renters needs to be discarded. If feels terrible to waste food, but without knowing how past renters treated those foods, it makes them hard to be used. Wasps are still around, but that is typical for a country house. Our days were rainy, so they weren't out much. If you are sensitive to water taste, bring water jugs. Tap water is drinkable, but we think it's reverse osmosis water which does give it a taste. Pros: Fishing, swimming, water equipment, and everything else on the water was amazing. The house was well stocked. We slept great, most people said their beds were medium to medium/firm. Very starry skies. Plenty of space. Like I said, it was our 2nd time here and we would come back a 3rd. It's a wonderful house away from busy life and you can just relax on the water or in the house. We sat on the porch and just listened to it rain on the water. Thank you for renting out such a great property!

Love this Lodge!
Love this Lodge!
This is the second year in a row that we have been to the Lakefront Cedar Vale Lodge. It was a Christmas gift to my grandson and he could hardly wait to get there. Unfortunately our 5 day stay turned out to be a 2 day stay due to a family emergency, but we are making plans to go back. My grandson has been willing to give up another adventure to hopefully get back out there sometime this year. We love it! It's an awesome place to spent time with family and get away from all the hub bub.

Amount people in our group - we found Verizon phone access is challenging. While T-Mobile phone access was excellent. Beautiful property, beautiful home and great opportunity to unplug with loved ones.
