It was excellent

This is an old hotel which is well-kept and remarkably comfortable, given ho old it is. It is extremely well placed for access to the old town. All the staff, from manager to waiters and cleaners were very friendly and extremely helpful. It is in a very beautiful setting.

Nice location, shower had hot water.

Staff tried to enter my room to clean while I was still there on four separate occasions. When I was checking out they tried to charge me extra fees for using my card instead of cash. I ordered a pizza at the restaurant and it had no tomato sauce on it.

Good indian kitchen and breakfast. The bar serves also good cocktails. Compaired to what else ive seen in Mbeya definitely the best at its price.

Breakfast there was no spread but they served whatever we ordered.

The rack rate openly displayed at hotel is much lower than what we booked thru booking.com. eg. double bed rack rate was Tshs. 80,000 and what we paid by booking.com was 103,250.

Availability of hot water.

1. It was not that clean, i found pieces of used cigarettes on the couch. The toilet wasn’t that clean. The bedsheet had some hair on it. 2. The phone in the room was not working 3. The iron i was given to iron my clothes was not in good condition. It almost burnt my clothes

Mbeya trip

The hotel owners are very good. They take personal care of guests. It was a good stay. Food is very good, they have a good chef. The hotel itself is a very cozy place.

Breakfast could be better. Check out time should be mid day as the flights out of mbeya are in afternoon. Shower can be improved.

Very Good Indian food. Helping staff.

Colonial times systems. You need to pay 2.5% extra if you choose to pay by card. I visited a place almost after a decade where they still charge something in the name of card fees.

loved it … will be coming back

beds were comfy, sheets were clean and there was plenty of hot water. it was quiet with no traffic noise. the rooms has a mosquito net too and a personal fridge. the Indian food in the restaurant was amazing. we really enjoyed it

the service was a little slow compared to Europe and uk but,compared to the uk, staff were much more friendly and polite. the owners were lovely and came and spoke with us regularly which was a nice touch

The food was terrific and specially done. But the rest was, sadly, substandard.

* Sweetest team possible. * Warm welcome. * Nice little touch daily in the room service person <3 * Avocados grow in the garden!! * Best chapatis in town * Very pleasant stay :)

* No breakfast possible before 7AM. * You have to ask for a kettle in your room * Shower projects in every possible direction. Bathroom flooded every morning * Impossible to achieve total darkness in the room

Great base in Mbeya

Good size room. Friendly staff. Nice garden. Good food. Close to transport and shops.

Some traffic noise at night but given the location, not excessive.

Good place to stay on a business trip

Staff was warm and welcoming, rooms are clean. Bandas are good to work in during the day.

The only issue I had was with the tomato soup-not made of fresh ingredients, more from a can. Specify before ordering.
