The location is great, near the beach. Nice and quiet. Beautiful garden in front of the bungalow.
Very poor wi-fi connection.
3.0 / 5.0
The place is situated near Porto (5min), it was quiet, trees around made the natural shadow. In the dark, you could see the lights in the areal. The incoming timing was very generous.
Fridge, microwave, bag coffee maker, cooker.
It was clean, but very old (more like camp). For this price I'd expected litle bit more. There was no rubbish bin. The comunication was strictly in french.
No sharp knive for bred od meat.
Big windows, you have to close them, when you leave, you can not let them for ventilation.
4.0 / 5.0
The location of the bungalows on a slope, surrounded with trees that gave some shadow during the daytime. The table and chairs in front of our porch, where we could enjoy our meals, or a glass of wine, read the book etc.. The small fridge inside was really very useful. The man who takes care of the place was really nice and friendly. We spoke French, and so there was no language barrier.
Despite the trees around, the bungalow was really hot in the evening, so the air-conditioning would be a blessing. Otherwise, a simple mosquito net in the windows would allow better ventilation.
I was a little surprised and worried when after the booking I read that I had to leave a deposit of EUR150 and that we could be charged EUR100 for cleaning. Luckily, it turned out that as long as we keep the place in a decent condition, wash up the dishes and don't leave any mess behind, the cleaning charge would not apply. We would have left the place exactly in this condition anyway, but I can also imagine that without the EUR100 penalty, some people could leave the mess behind. The friendly man who takes care of the place returned our deposit on the day of our departure, so it was not an issue at all.
