Location of apartment was great - just moments from town and beach. 2 double bedrooms and sofa bed worked for us and quiet at night despite being so close to town.
2.0 / 5.0
It is a very old building and quite dreary, so this was our first concern. It was also musty upon arrival but that cleared out after a few hours; towels and shower also quite old and there are many stains on the couch, but it is clean. Overall it is kind of pedestrian but it is convenient and did have some positives.
For one, the host was lovely and very welcoming and helpful. The living room was the best asset with a little veranda and beautiful views over the valley and port, so that was rewarding. Nice to have access to a kitchen and a place to land. We spent 2 nights enjoying the view with wine and small bites and one night going out.
The town itself is small but sweet-eat at Restaurant Nathalie for a lovely experience just steps from the apartment. The beaches around the coast are lovely. The apartment was also affordable and this is the trade off. There’s parking! Another plus.
