Sehr schönes Hotel mit Top Personal

Sehr sauberes und schönes Hotel. Extrem freundliches Personal, besonders die Zwillinge im Restaurant. Kleine schöne Bucht in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Danke für die schönen Tage.

Lage, Essen, Ausstattung, Klima, Pool einfach top. Sehr gastfreundliches Personal. Es gibt ein heimeliges Gefühl.

Sehr schönes kleines Hotel

Saubere, moderne Zimmer Sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter Großer Parkplatz (14 Zimmer & 20 Parkplätze) Leckeres Frühstück Toller Ausblick aufs Meer und die Innenstadt Sehr nah am Stadtstrand, der auch sehr schön ist Auch die Innenstadt ist zu Fuß in 5 Minuten erreicht Dank der Lage ist man auch schnell in Krk, Baŝka & co. Kommen definitiv nochmal :)

Die Duschwand ist ein bisschen kurz (Risiko für eine kleine Überschwemmung) Der Pool war wegen des Saisonendes leider schon außer Betrieb

Love Vrbnik!

Superb hostess and staff. Perfect service, great breakfast. Awesome finishes. Cool location close enough to the city centre, winerys and a lovely beach.

Charming, comfortable, and elegant boutique hotel with excellent service and amenities

A beautiful hotel perched above the old town of Vrbnik near the sea—it could not have been more well situated, with just a 5 min walk into the old town and within a short driving distance of all the other little towns on Krk. Parking at the hotel was easy. Our room was spacious yet cozy, with breathtaking sea and city views from our private balcony. There is a relaxing private pool behind the hotel, with plenty of nice loungers and umbrellas, plus a poolside bar. Service is so charming and friendly (plus the beach is also just a short walk from the hotel. It’s not a touristy as other Krk beaches, and there is a bar and loungers there too. Our bed was so comfortable. The AC in our room was great—such a necessity for comfortable travel accommodations in Croatia, but not always guaranteed. The bathroom in our room was also spacious and modern. Excellent shower. We enjoyed the expansive and tasty breakfast each morning, with lots of ala carte goodies in addition to eggs and espresso drinks available by order. I loved the cappuccino! For dinner, we enjoyed Pizzeria Gospoja very much, and drank Zhlatina, a white wine that is only produced in the region, at pretty much every meal. In short, we liked everything about our stay at Hotel Verbenicum and we are already planning to return next year!

The amazing location is only matched by the generous and delightful staff. What a beautiful stay. I only wish it was longer

Impeccably clean and the staff were just super friendly and helpful, particularly the twins (savid & senat) and Mateo and paloma. Great advice on what to do and see and nothing was too much trouble. Met the owners at checkout and they were equally lovely.

We’re so pleased to have found Verbenicum.

Host Iva is an exceptional owner and manager making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Her attention to detail and her sense of humour shine through. We were celebrating our anniversary and Iva very kindly upgraded our room. When she battled with her internet provider, who’d badly let her down, she immediately loaned her personal business phone so important Zoom calls could be made. Also helping to make our stay in Vrbnik special were the twins, the super-waiting staff, who like Iva always have a mischievous smile and are happy to help at all times.

There is nothing to dislike.

Great boutique hotel

Very nice and comfortable hotel, nice pool and pool bar, staff is really friendly, helpful and quick, especially the twins waiters.

Breakfast could have been more diverse and local based.

Lovely hotel in a stunning location

We stayed in a very clean, beautiful and very large room on the second floor which had a view over the old town of Vrbnik and the sea. The staff was super friendly, the breakfast was nice, parking was excellent (lots of space), and Vrbnik proved a good base for our trips around the island of Krk. Definitely recommended.

VIP experience in beautiful surroundings

Iva and her wonderful team made sure we were looked after from the moment we arrived until our departure. The interior design of Hotel Verbenicum is gorgeous with a classy yet homely feel. Scented sticks dotted throughout make it smell lovely and the library on the 2nd floor is a joy. We were thrilled with our suite which had lots of room, a large comfy bed with perfect pillows, soft white towels, lovely natural bath products and a great shower. It also had a spacious balcony facing Vrbnik and the bay. Everything top marks. The pool may look small but is ample for this hotel and it feels exclusive rather than over busy. Don’t miss the sunset over Vrbnik in the evenings. The restaurant is also very tastefully decorated and comfortable with a unique view of Vrbnik and the bay that enhances the enjoyment of every meal. The breakfast buffet has an extensive selection to please all tastes: smoothies, cereals, fruit, bread, various cheeses and cold meats, salads, home made cakes, croissants, fruit juice…. eggs and coffee are made fresh to order. The evening menu is currently limited but every dish we tried was delicious. Would appreciate some smaller starter options. As for the restaurant service, nothing is too much trouble for the most friendly and professional waiters we’ve ever had the privelege to meet. Twin brothers Senad and Safet made our stay at Verbenicum even more enjoyable with their attentiveness and humour. A big thank you to the team. We are sure you will go from strength to strength with your passion to succeed and your creative ideas to make Hotel Verbenicum even better. We hope to see you again!

The drinks are hotel prices which is to be expected however the beer was really overpriced, which is a shame. It would be handy to have a small rack to dry beach towels on the balcony.

Lovely stay with exceptional service. Great attention to detail on all fronts. Remarkable view from front facing room. Gentle and very pleasant scent throughout the hotel. Cleanliness top. It's clear they care - about the hotel, about guests and about their staff. Prices are ok, on the premium side, but I'm not sure they're proportionate to staff wages in Croatia (something I care about), since Croatia is a EU member for 9 years - unless staff is paid premium here which I don't know, but truly hope.

(Now I'm being very petty here) the cheeses selection at breakfast could be improved. Croatia has some wonderful cheeses and it would be nice to see this being celebrated, in this beautiful little hotel.

It’s located really close to the beach, clean pool, nice room, delicious breakfast, and kind owner, everything was perfect! And this hotel’s dinner was so nice as well. You can enjoy the sweet night with not so expensive price.
