I was able to call them
When we arrived at the first (out of 3) place, it was 8pm. We walked inside with our suitcases to find that all of the beds had already been slept in, the bathroom was dirty, and there was a used bandaid on the floor. Just all around, not clean! So I called the company, and they said they would contact the local team. Shortly thereafter, we checked the doors and noticed that we were unable to get the balcony door to lock, and it would not have been hard for someone to go from one balcony to another. I called them back, and they sent us to another location about 5 minutes away. We packed the car back up and went to the new location. When we arrived there, the code that the company had provided for the lock box didn't work, so we were unable to get in. Contacted them for the 3rd time, and they sent us to the 3rd location. When we arrived at that location, I went to the door and entered the code and unlocked the deadbolt, and the chain lock, which can only be locked from the inside, was locked so I pulled the door back shut and got out of there FAST! I could only assume that someone was already inside. I called the company back for the 4th time and told them that after everything, we were going to drive on to TN and find somewhere else to stay for the night. They did agree to give me a 100% refund, although when we booked it did state that it was nonrefundable.

The porch on the back was nice.
The bathroom floor definitely hadn’t been cleaned in a while there was dirt and dust in the corners of the floor. The kitchen sink was a little dirty as well. The fridge door doesn’t close properly. The bed was uncomfortable. But for a quick weekend trip it was fine. I did get a nail in my tire from the parking lot and got a flat so that was inconvenient.

It was relatively close to grocery stores and restaurants, and we had the privilege of Oktoberfest happening right down the road during our stay. Definitely don’t arrive at night like we did because it’s hard to see there at night! But the sound of the creek next to us made up for everything.
There were plenty of cockroach encounters during our stay which was really unpleasant. The balcony door can’t lock so there’s only a stick blocking it from opening. The roads were very windy and parking was difficult because the lot was so crowded. The wifi on the laptop and cell service was very bad, you couldn’t get cell reception.

I liked that it was tucked away but close to local stores. It was peaceful too.
The door to the unit automatically locks - a great safety feature but what if you don’t have your keys or spare when you’re unloading the car? Please remind guests about this when they arrive and/or add it to the unit description.

Proximity to the locations that we were visiting
Since it does not have air conditioning it needs a fan that can fan that can be moved around to whatever room such as the bedroom such as the bedroom which got quite hot at night

Smelled like burnt bacon
Hallway light out
Sloped, angled ceilings gave a very cramped feel

This location was amazing!!
Overall the place was pretty dated except for the kitchen and the carpets need to be vacuumed/cleaned.

Very nice location, close to grocery store. Space was kept exceptionally clean and functioned well for our needs. Dishes, cups, skillets, baking sheets and more are all provided. The coffee maker was a nice touch as well. (coffee not included) We loved the fireplace!
Water pressure was not great. Showering was a long, difficult process, especially for ladies with lots of hair to rinse. The thermostats are a bit confusing and take some getting use to to find the right adjustment. The steps to the loft area are near vertical which proved a bit difficult getting up and down.
