This could have been exceptional with just a few changes. Very disappointing that all Vacasa could offer was an apology

Extraordinary view. Nice fireplace. great deck, but no chairs for table on deck and only a small bench (2 person) on deck.

I had to shovel snow & ice off stairs & landings to access/enter property safely. No sponges or dish wash cloth, only one dish drying towel. Only 5 bath towels for 6 guests/had to request more with slow response. Fold out sofa mattress shot;could feel springs with hand pressure, so had to use fold out bed in loft closet and folded sofa to accommodate my daughter & grandson - other grandson slept on twin bed in loft. Trash drop significant distance from unit - had to drive to take out trash.

Beautiful, but the hassle isn’t worth the money

Beautiful location, views, spacious condo

Booking and check-in process was extremely cumbersome. Booking.com is only the first step, I then received and still am receiving over 20 emails from Vacasa, had to sign a several page long rental agreement for an overnight stay, a phone call to confirm my identity, when there was barely cell reception. It’s been 4 days since checkout, I’m still getting a ‘welcome to the area’ email daily. With all that attention to email, it didn’t appear that anyone actually checked on the property, as the water was not on and neither was the water heater. And for such a nice location and a $150+ cleaning fee, you still had to take out your own trash.

Beautiful

The condo was easy to find, the condo itself was beautiful. We were placed in a different condo last minute because there was a leak, so we were concerned that the view wouldn’t be as nice. Boy we’re we wrong. This was a perfect stay and we will definitely be back soon.

The only thing I didn’t like was they did not have an extra roll of paper towels, but there was extra toilet paper galore

Away to family away to a mountain retreat

Clean and Beautiful. Amazing book collection!!! No annoying hotel staff hanging on your door first thing in the morning. Very Friendly neighbors! Everything! I loved the country mountain feel, I loved the views. I loved that all we needed was to buy food. I booked on a whim, without reviews seen. I was nervous driving up but when we approached the top of the mountain I started to calm down. Opening the door to the view we went straight to the balcony! The pictures don't do the view justice. It was relaxing! And although we were there to hike, we found great comfort coming back with the kids at the end of our outdoor fun to have a plethora of board games! We loved the SpongeBob Monopoly. Played it twice! I was even able to finish my work day the first night with the WiFi. I'm just so thankful to have found this location! As a family we felt so at home, great separation when it was time for bed, and amazing togetherness. Close to groceries and shopping. We found the cutest gift shop to satisfy our tourist cliche needs right at the bottom of the mountain. The town was amazing! You targeted families and it shows. We can't wait to visit again. Thank you so much for making our first trek to Western NC priceless.
