Great location, interior of house very cozy. Nice front and back deck to relax on. Rear driveway a little tight for larger SUV, but we were able to manage. Overall, I would stay here again.

Thank you for the property — we enjoyed staying there.. The cleaning crew clearly does a fantastic job. The bed was comfortable. The mud room was very helpful for our bikes. i’m going to be honest — it needs a few things managed to get a 5-star rating, Right now it looks like there is a distant property manager and a local cleaning team, and absolutely no one locally. OK, we can manage that, although it’s not ideal to have to dial a 800 number for help (which we did). I’ve run an AirBnB and I always made sure there was a book in the property explaining everything from weirdnesses of the property (like, it took us some time to figure out the lights, and over a day to figure out how to turn off at least SOME of the under-counter lights) to nearby sights, as well as contact info, but there wasn’t anything like that there. Here are the issues that didn’t work or needed attention::
The back door deadbolt is unusable until the strike plate is moved into the correct place. Where I live, it’s against the law not to have a functioning deadbolt.
The water filter on the refrigerator needs to be replaced.
The thermostat is telling me it has a low battery and cannot find the other thermostat due to dead battery. Yikes! What if it was cold outside?
The under-the-shelf lights all have dead batteries — bedroom, and hallway by bathroom.
There were absolutely no tissues anywhere. For $200+/night, I’d like to not have to use toilet paper to blow my nose.
There was no sugar or any type of

Horrible communication with host. Info went to spam. Called day of check in and the person (based in a foreign country not likely "Evan" or "Phil") scolded us before finally agreeing to give us check in instructions that were different than what was instructed about the keypad login.
The unit was advertised as NO PETS but when I scoped it out, there was dog hair everywhere...couch, chairs, floors, bedding, carpet, washer, dryer, etc. so only one of us could stay there.
Refrigerator was gross - both smells and sights.
First time using knife block, spiders rushed out of the block.
Sheets, towels, bedding were terrible - in the hopes of cleaning some grossness away, when stripping the bed, found a massive blood stain on the mattress pad. EWWW!!!!
Back door is midget sized - doesn't seal - draft from 10 degree weather blew into house day and night.
Smart thermostat maxes at 70 so guests can't get warm no matter how hard they try.
Heat went out in middle of night - contacted host, no response. Contacted VRBO - instructed to contact host. Contacted host again - said they would send maintenance.
Cancelled plans for the entire day to wait for maintenance to show up and the heat magically came back on. No word from host. Maintenance person entered the unit late afternoon - scared crap out of us - and still never heard from host other than to ask us for review and ask us to extend our stay.
No way. Find somewhere else to stay.

Adorable (not so) little house in the heart of Old Colorado City. All the amenities including an awesome kitchen and a great back yard. So quaint. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice Stay in OCC
Very clean and comfortable! Didn’t arrive until late at night - my entrance code did not work so I had to call the emergency number. They did respond quickly! A very convenient location and they have everything you need. Could use extra trash bags for the kitchen and maybe a couple of extra blankets just in case. Only other suggestion is that the TV should probably be mounted on the opposite wall because view is impaired by an extended wall when sitting on the couch. It is an older house so the floors are uneven. Overall it is very quaint and a great place to stay!

The stained mattress and bedding saga!
The property was nice until..... I pulled the comforter back. There appeared to be a stain in the sheet! Not only was it in the sheet the mattress was stained. I’m sure you make enough coin from this rental, you surely can afford a NEW MATTRESS! The place was clean otherwise. I wasn’t too happy about the neighborhood and the fact that there was a van full of homeless people sleeping in a parking lot 2 doors down at the auto repair shop. That made me feel a bit uneasy. For a place to stay in a tight squeeze, it was ok. I wouldn’t stay here again though.
