Kevin was lovely, really friendly chatty guy and very helpful. The room was bigger than expected and the beds were super comfy!
Great location If your travelling around the Yorkshire dales, seemed relatively central to each of the places we wanted to visit...without costing the earth!
Will most likely be back again and would recommend.

Wonderful hotel run by Kevin, who was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Felt very safe, relaxed and comfortable during my stay, especially as a solo female traveller. The place was immaculately clean, the character and style of the hotel was absolutely lovely and such a delight! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Saltaire.

Felt like home from home, very relaxing environment with plenty of space to relax. Kevin greeted me and was very accommodating, warm and friendly, certainly made me feel comfortable enough to ask if I needed anything. Very well maintained and comfortable accommodation.
The piece and quiet and comfort.
It met my needs.

The bed was comfortable, and the prints of artwork nice.
When informing the owner of the time I was due to arrive, he informed me that I would not be welcome after 10 pm, even though I was travelling by train and a solo female traveller. With the current trends with trains being delayed and cancelled in Britain at the moment.
As he lives on the property, it would not have been too much for him to have greeted me after 10pm, to ensure my safety. Thankfully, I arrived before 9 pm, and was allowed in.
The owner was very judgemental, asked very personal questions, and made sweeping statements even during general chit-chat, which I'd said I didn't wish to have as I was tired after a day of travelling.
The shower 'blind' didn't close easily or well, and there were only 2 teabags for a 3 night stay.
No coffee or alternative drinks options were available at all.
The stairway was dark, and there was no light switch to ensure safety up or down the stairs.
It may be decorated as a home, but there is no warmth, welcome, or 'homeleigh-ly-ness' about the place.
There are some lovely cafes locally, a delightful walk along the canal, and the Salt Mills are most definitely worth a visit. I would just recommend you stay elsewhere, because the bed and lack of service is not worth £50 a night.

Location was central and easy to access, guest access from car parking was good. Room was clean and comfortable, had a good nights sleep. Facilities downstairs would suit families.
I understood from the description of the accomodation that hot drinks were available, unfortunately I couldn't find any provision for that.

Very well kept and clean. The owner was friendly. Checking in was easy.
NOT THE FAULT OF THE HOTEL but other guests causing problems at 4.15am spoilt my sleep.
The bed was a little firm for me too but that could be a preference thing.

Homeleigh is definitely homely! Yes the decor is a bit mish mash and old looking, things aren’t 5* but it’s clean and cosy and the owner has really concentrated on small useful details like a USB charging point and free bottle of water. For £45 a night you really can not complain! I had a great night sleep which is what it’s all about. I would stay again!
I think maybe just the decor and the bed wasn’t the comfiest, but that’s it. As I say for the price you can’t complain.
