Kein gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis

Lage ist toll!

Unfreundliches Personal am Telefon und beim Check in, Zimmer entsprechen nicht dem 3- Sterne Standard des Hotels! Z. B. Verschmutzter Teppich auf dem Balkon, minderwertiges Frühstück abgewohnte Möbel, durchgelegene Matratzen…. Viel zu hoher Preis für das Zimmer, wir hatten leider keine andere Wahl weil kein anderes Zimmer in Schönau zu finden war. Sozusagen das allerletzte Zimmer…!

Wird sich hoffentlich so nicht wiederholen

Frühstück um 7:30 Uhr leider nicht möglich. Auch die Möglichkeit eines Lunchpakets gegen Bezahlung ist nicht möglich.

Personal unfreundlich und unflexibel Ambiente gewöhnungsbedürftig. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut überteuert!

Great location but not a modern facility.

We like the location and breakfast. It's a few minutes walk to the pier, and the bus station is just across the street. There are good varieties for breakfast.

Since there is no elevator, it's not easy to bring luggage up or down with out help. You might get help if there is guy sitting in the front desk, but it's always the case. It's an old hotel, with old furniture, old bathroom, it will be nice if the hotel is willing to modernize them. It's over priced, not worth $329 a night.

Sauber, aber in die Jahre gekommen

Das Hotel liegt gut und zentral am Rand der Fußgängerzone. Es ist gut erreichbar und Parkmöglichkeiten sind vor dem Hotel vorhanden, wenn auch bei Vollbelegung potentiell zu wenige Parkplätze. Wir hatten aber Glück und konnten trotzdem vor dem Hotel parken.

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und auf dem Stand der 1980er Jahre (zumindest gefühlt). Das muss man wissen. Es ist sauber, aber Bad und Zimmer selbst ist mit Abstrichen zu geniessen. Im EG im unteren Teil (im ehemaligen Restaurant) wohnt die Familie, die das Hotel betreibt. Die Fenster sind abgehängt. Rezeption ist nur kurz besetzt, man erreicht die Betreiber dann via Mobilfunk. Frühstück ist mittelmässig, aber ok. Generell ist das Hotel ok, ich finde aber 170 EUR pro Nacht für ein DZ mit Frühstück zu hoch. Für 100 wäre es ok und akzeptabel.

In Ordnung

Die Größe und Sauberkeit der Zimmer, auch die Aussicht waren prima. Parkplatz vor dem Haus und in 5 Gehminuten am Königsee und an der Jennerbahn, eine perfekte Lage!

Frühstück bot leider keine Alternative zu Milchprodukten, weder Margarine noch Veganer Joghurt ... für Menschen mit Unverträglichkeiten schwierig.

hotel is fine, front desk incredibly rude.

Though a bit expensive, the room and breakfast were fit for purpose.

The man on the front desk was incredibly rude and patronising. I spent the whole time in the hotel dreading having to bump into him again and hoping he was not there. I couldn't really believe how rude he was and it completely spoiled the stay for me.

A mountain view

A great hotel in a fantastic location for visiting the lake and the cable car. We had a huge room and a balcony overlooking the mountains. The bed was comfy, breakfast was excellent, it all went well.

The hotel needs a little bit of an update as some of the decor is looking dated.

Pleasant stay

The apartment was very clean with good facilities. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They provide good parking facilities as well. The location is perfect, close to everything. The breakfast was good enough.

The apartment was on the third floor, so we had to climb three flights of stairs every time. Luckily, we didn’t have any heavy luggage. The view from the balcony could’ve been better. It looks upon the parking area. Considering the price, they could’ve provided air conditioning in the apartment.

Pricey but location!

The location is excellent that you can reach the ferry in 5 minutes time. The room is spacious, clean and quiet as I booked a double room with balcony facing the mountain. The temperature control of the bath tub is very good. You may park your car free of charge just outside the hotel.

The bed is too noisy when you move or turn your body during sleep. There is no lift that you may need to bring the luggage up the staircases, like in my case, my room is on the third floor. There is literally no one in the reception desk except during the checkin hours. So you can only go to the tourist info centre nearby for any inquiries about your excursions. The breakfast is okay but starts serving a bit late(from 8am). You need to settle your hotel bill in cash so get prepared for that. Or else, if you settle your bill using credit card, they charge an addition of 2%.

WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE!!!

The worst possible place for a group of people. Ordered 2 rooms for a total of 18 people. The hotel called but never confirmed that there is only 1 room. Now they charge for both rooms. The hotel can't even offer the equivalent room for 9 more people. The only thing we got is one more room for 4 people and one more room for 4 people 3 km away from the hotel of origin. There was still no room for 1 more person where no reading was offered. Manager on site is impossible to communicate and is very rude and impossible to communicate. Not a place to recommend for larger groups as the manager even repeated several times that he does not understand English. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE!!!

Great location, friendly ad helpful staff.

We stayed in the top floor apartment, which is spacious with a great view. The breakfast had a good choice each morning.

There are not blinds on the sky light windows, which are directly behind above the beds, making the bedrooms very light from 5am.

Nice comfortable stay in Konigssee.

Location was great! Decent options for breakfast. The staff kept the food available even at the end when it was closing.

We had the apartment on top floor and there were multiple skylights in the bedrooms. Difficult to get kids to sleep when it’s still bright out. Some kind of shade/curtain for the skylights would have been nice. There wasn’t a person at reception except at check in time (3 pm) and then 6 pm. There was a phone number but we didn’t want to call it for information about restaurants and such.

As most other reviews great location let down by terribly rude staff and owner.

Staff ruined the stay, paid for larger room but given standard. Politely asked for refund for the difference to be told to goto court. Unbelievable. Started badly upon arrival with check in. Arrived during advertised open times no one in reception. Waited 1.5hrs for someone to arrive. Can not recommend due to the terrible owner. Look elsewhere.

Nice place

It's a nice place as same as I expected.

The room has a electronic hot pot. I stayed for 4 days but it seemed that not refill the tea bags everyday.

Exactly as advertised (read long list) and next to bus stop with free bus passes

Everything advertised on Booking.com was correct -- even about the rooms being sound proof. Breakfast is free, unlike many hotels in Europe. I slept better than in any of the others hotels where I stayed in Bavaria. Free bus passes!!! A money saver.

While this was not a problem for me, if you need an elevator, they do not have one -- long stairs to first floor and above

Staff was not very welcoming. Breakfast was less than could be expected from a 3 star hotel. Rather expensive for the facilities offered, price /quality ratio is not ok, price reflects location more than service offered. Bathroom very small.
