An oasis of calm in busy margao

Comfy room with aircon and a tv All the plants on the balcony/patio and the little touches throughout. The owner obviously loves the place and it shows

Cozy Place with potential to do better!

The Hotel is well located and priced. There’s also a lovely restaurant called Cherry Tomato right outside that has great food. The common areas of the hotel are gorgeous and quaintly lined with plants and other homely knick knacks that made it feel very cozy.

The room itself didn’t appeal on first glance. The walls are in desperate need for a lick of paint. The bed linen smelled musty and had stains all over it. The bathroom is very dated and the shower has no pressure or hot water. We ran the shower into a bucket the first 2 days of our stay to no avail and settled for cold water showers after a long day. There are very basic things provided and a lot of basics missed out on like water bottles in the room, shampoo/bodywash whereas musty and not too clean looking or smelling towels are provided along with toothbrushes and toothpaste. The other crazy thing we noticed is that there is no switch within the room to turn off the balcony light and the light shines in through the balcony door leaving the room quite bright through the night. You get what you’re paying for, I guess.

The rooms of the hotel was clean and tidy. It was up to the mark. The service was quick. The room is quiet sober for the family as well as couple.

The hotel is bit far from the station. Thought would be walkable, but avoid walking if you're carrying too much luggage.

I didn’t like anything about hotel Paulino

there was frequent power cut washroom was pathetic and I think the reviews are also fake and most important the restraurant below the hotel was very very very bad

Property is nicely decorated and maintained by the owner.

If you do not have a vehicle, it is difficult to travel and even get a cup of tea. No support from the staff in this regard. At least electric kettle and tea / coffee sachets should be provided in the room.

Loved how peaceful the hotel was. Everything was at a walkable distance and the staff were really helpful

We had a room on the 2nd floor for a day, and it's washroom was not clean. However, our 2nd room for the next 2 days had the best washroom.

Paulino made it, good location, acceptable price, friendly staff, and amazing plant collections that surrounding the hotel. Highly recommended

Decent budget friendly stay

Hotel Paulino is a budget friendly option at a quite accessible location.Our stay here was decent.

They do not offer even a bottle of complementary water to their guests but on request they did arrange for bottled water, checkin was delayed since room was not clean on time. The co-partner is a bit rude and should be a little polite towards his guests.
