Wonderful family run hotel. Staff simply amazing, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was incredible with a range of different restaurants and attention to detail in the hotel unmatched. Fantastic location for walking/cycling. Already planning our next visit!

One of the best hotels we have stayed in. Friendly service, excellent food and wine. Full of charm. Love the family owners are very present.
There is nothing we didn’t like.

The food of the hotel
2.5
The position of the hotel in Corvara is very central and right next to the ski slope/piste. The food was very good. The history of the hotel and the video of the original couple and family that started the hotel is very impressive. it’s a classic story of hotels in the area.
in my experience, this barely hotel rates five stars. The spa is tiny and there are not many lounge chairs. The pool is small. There are no afternoon refreshments like another five star hotels I’ve stayed at in the area. they seem to charge you for every little thing (water, tea, etc) even after you have paid dearly for half boarding. they don’t have any ski guides that I found. There are not any organised activities (hikes, walks, etc) or calendar of events internally or in town like at other five star hotels in the area. Makes me really question the certification process for Leading hotels of the world.

nice location and great food.
our room was so hot we could barely sleep. they came and tried to help but we had no control over the thermostat. we had to sleep with the door open to keep it cool

Personal family touches including drinks at original family house is really exceptional. Staff members are incredibly well trained and presented.

Excellent breakfast, quality staff, luxury experience.
Lunch isn’t quite up to the standard of breakfast and dinner oddly. It’s expensive so my standards were high.

The location for skiers was excellent - ski in/ski out resort - very convenient. It is also very close to town. Amazing apres ski bar is just in front of the hotel. Amazing ski hotel. Room was big with a very nice view, little but nice spa, very tasty dinners with some special surprise evenings - cheese evening, dessert evening.
Breakfast however could be improved. It is not a matter of choices however, every day we had to wait for a table, there was no service personal assigned to the table, always something was forgotten or missing. Very inconvenient.

We had a great, spacious room with fantastic views. Excellent food and service over dinner. Follow the house recommendations for wine. They have an excellent collection at outstanding value for money.
Very dog friendly!
