Had a wonderful and relaxing stay

I have stayed at the Niksoma many times. I love that it’s a small and friendly boutique hotel. The staff are caring and make a point of remembering their guests names.

I have to say that having recently acquired two hip replacements, I was struggling a little with stairs, especially at breakfast, having to go up and down them several times carrying my food. A member of staff remedied the problem and brought a table to the level where the breakfast was laid so I didn’t need to use the stairs. I was really grateful for his kindness.

Perfect location and exceptional staff.

The buffet breakfast and the staff were both amazing. Breakfast was always entertaining with your wonderful staff, special mention to Mini and the boss of the egg station!

The rooms are looking tired! The pool temperature is too warm.

Overall, liked it more than we thought we would, mostly because of the lovely people

The location is ideal. Situated facing the beach at Legian, it is half way between Kuta and Seminyak. Handy to some nice shopping districts. Whilst not a large or super fancy resort, it had everything we wanted but on a smaller more intimate feel scale. Breakfast buffet was amazing, best variety I have ever had. Really enjoyed the fresh fruit every morning.

We aren't really show people so we did find the nightly shows loud but just sat well away from the main performance area. The really tough problem for us was the smokers. Smoking in eating areas seems to be allowed right across Bali so it is not a problem specific to Niksoma but is nonetheless unpleasant. People should not be allowed to smoke in eating areas. People were also smoking in the pool area right next to young families with babies and toddlers. Not good

Bali Niksoma is a beautiful resort with the friendliest of staff.

Location great, accommodation great. Wonderful pools. Not an overcrowded resort. Not too many children. Nightly entertainment. The staff are so friendly and accommodating.

The breakfasts were really delicious with many choices. Beautiful fruit and pastries. But the hot food was cold. Cold bacon, sausages , tomatoes , beans, hash browns etc.

Very good resort and would recommend this to anyone travelling to Bali. Staff extremely friendly and restaurant at hotel serves very good quality food at a reasonable price point. Pools at hotel are oustanding.

Gorgeous boutique property right on the beach.

A beautiful property, fantastic location, and the staff are amazing. It was also really quiet. I’m not sure if it is always like this or we just stayed at a quiet time but there were rarely more than about 10 people around the pool, always plenty of sun lounges, and no lining up for breakfast or cooked to order eggs etc. Perfect for a relaxing couples getaway. Breakfast with a view of the beach and we enjoyed hopping over the road for a beach swim, or sunset drinks on the sand. We loved our stay and will not hesitate to book again.

A few minor niggles. The curtains and blinds in the junior suite we stayed in did not block out the light from the pathways etc outside which are lit all night so the room was not as dark as we would like. We didn’t seem to have hot water and in our shower. We did ask about this and they suggested to let it run for 5 mins to get hot which we tried but made no difference. We were mostly having quick showers straight after swimming in the pool each evening so ultimately weren’t bothered enough about it to follow up further. And the breakfast is lovely with plenty of choice given the small number of guests however the hot food did often seem to be not as hot as it could be. Overall these were minor things which did not overly detract from what was an extremely enjoyable stay

Very relaxing, great memories

loved the breakfast, pool was excellent, very good water quality. All the staff were amazing, it is obvious to see you only employ genuine nice people. Location was great, once work is finished on the wall/footpath it will be even better.

Our room was 2nd floor. The room above we think had young children ,every morning about 5-6am, i was woken by the sound of feet running on the floor above and the harsh scraping of wooden furniture on the tile floor. I think at least wooden furniture legs could have felt or rubber protection on the feet to stop the noise at least. I understand the sound of feet running is unavoidable, although annoying when trying to sleep.
