Hotel, lontano dal centro. Camera piccola e datata, anche il bagno piccolo e doccia con tenda. Wifi non funzionante Discreta colazione a buffet. Proprietaria molto cordiale. Un pó costoso per rapporto qualità/prezzo. Possibilità di ricovero biciclette

When a hotel is actually a bed and breakfast

A lovely environment with the patio by the pool, restaurant next door and fabulous local cliff walkways. Small hotel with friendly manager. Nice breakfast. A little fridge in the room.

A hotel should have facilities for tea or coffee during the day; not just bed and breakfast. A kettle and cups or access to the dining area is needed, especially when staying for a few nights. Even a vending machine! The single beds with scratchy sheets and duvet 😑, no double room offered even though requested and an almost empty hotel.

Terribly disappointing and dated

I loved the pictures on Booking.com but for me they were totally misleading.

We had made a booking from the 25th April until the 5th of May. While checking the confirmation we noticed that it had been changed to the 30th of April until 10th of May. It turned out the hotel had made a mustake in their admministration and had a double booking for the 29th. They had single handedly changed it without consulting us. We would not be in Spain after the 5th and thought it was pretty rude to just switch the dates. When i asked them to cancel the days we would not be in Spain she told me they were providing us with a service(!). I don’t know what kind of a service that is. After talking on the phone and urging them to compensate the dates we were not in Spain they complied without saying sorry for the hassle they created. The hotel is situated next to a busy street, there was a kind of faint urine smell when we walked into the corridors and bedroom. The bedroom is fairly small, old bathroom in which the showerdoor was crooked and hard to slide. The small fridge was not connected and when we connected it it made too much noise. The bedroom is very dated and the views are rather disappointing, looking out onto a small swimmingpool and the busy road & neighbours. The breakfast was so disappointing, some (dry) bread, a few slices of cutlery and some cheese and jam, small cups of yogurt and stuff.. When we asked if it was possible to have an egg in any kind of form the reply we got was ‘look I don’t have enough space to bake or boil an egg’.. We took coffee instead.. The pool was filthy.. We could hear the other two guests complain but seemed complacent to it all. The staff kept calling my son another name, pretty unpersonal and when we told her we wanted to leave after one night Svenja was genuinely upset. We felt sorry for her but did not have a good feeling about this place. She offered me to talk to the manager and try to give us a refund for the remaining 4 nights which I appreciated a lot.

A little gem of a hotel - a home from home

Family run hotel with excellent customer service. They go above and beyond to help and make you feel welcome. We will definitely be visiting again. Rooms are extremely clean, comfortable beds and lovely continental breakfast. Hotel in Montemar and about a 5 minute drive to Moraría. They have a restaurant next to the hotel which serves very tasty Italian food. So friendly ****** highly recommend

Superb

The Hotel is actually in excellent shape, even though it is an older style, BUT the rooms are big and very clean. The staff is taking outstanding care of the facility which you can see. Also whenever you come you will be received with a big smile and whatever you need they will help you to get it. Next door you have also a great Pizzeria with amazing food. It is a little away, like 5 min from the Town, but around the corner, you have a big supermarket and restaurants etc. The beach is actually within walking distance, no need for a car. I have been very happy there the days I spend and for sure I will be back again asap. enjoy your stay.

Small comfortable hotel in a quite area

Small comfortable hotel for a reasonable price. The efficiency and helpfulness of Nicole, the manager, was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she made our stay a very enjoyable one.

The fridge in the room makes too much noise - we had to turn it off.

Fantastic place to stay for a few days and excellent value for money

lovely little hotel within close proximity to beaches and restaurants. it was spotlessly clean, the beds were very comfortable and Nicole the owner was extremely friendly.

Maybe a little dated but I understand they are having a refurbishment this year.

Perfect place to relax

Loved our stay at this hotel. it is a small and simple hotel with few rooms. it is calm and quiet. the breakfast buffet was great and the ladies were very nice and flexible with us- they let us stay a bit longer for breakfast. the swimming pool is great and it is perfect to relax in the shade during the hottest hours. we enjoyed the small balcony, during the evenings we were having a beer enjoying the quiet and the breeze. there is a private parking slot which is helpful. the hotel is situated not far away from the beach - you can walk there but it is better to have a car so you can move around and visit more spots in the area. the nearest beach has a nice chiringuito were you have lunch or dinner. the beach is not a sandy beach but the water was clean and warm.

Will definitely be returning

we’ve been coming to Moraira for 15 years and always stayed in villas. We decided on a change this year and this little hotel is a gem of a place. Nicole and the team were fantastic, rooms were spotless, pool and pool area clean and quiet mostly! Continental breakfast with plenty of choice (get up there early for the croissants though!) Bed was comfortable, lovely size terrace (we were in the upper floor) and the air con was amazing!

Getting a taxi to go out in the evening is tricky (only one Benissa taxi!) but a 5 - 10 min walk takes you where you cross in to the San Jaime urbanisation and you can call Moraira taxis from there.

Great little hotel.

Staff are very friendly, room was super clean. I enjoyed having a balcony with table and chairs. The breakfast selections were great and there were tables outside. The pool was a bit cold to try out, but it was lovely to look at! The AC worked great. It felt homey.

The exhaust fan in the bathroom was super loud.

Very clean and welcoming quiet hotel, could not fault our stay we found the staff lovely and the breakfast just right

Tiles on the bathroom & bedroom floor became very slippery when wet…I went over once… but that is Spain I suppose!

Disappointing

The breakfast was good. Nicole, the receptionist, was outstanding. It's noisy (traffic) with the window open. Overall the hotel isn't good value for money.

The restaurant food was good value but the staff were very unfriendly and particularly disagreeable with our small dog outside when it is permitted. Also we were all bitten by mosquitoes (mid May).

wonderful and friendly hotel with ambiance

the property was in an excellent location , very quiet and comfy beds.we didn’t use the swimming pool because the weather was really bad when we were there, but I’m sure it would be wonderful in summer. the breakfast was lovely and everything you needed. nicole the owner, did everything possible to make our stay exceptional and everyone was so helpful . the pizzeria adjacent to the hotel was superb and well worth a visit. great parking as well.

Clean and Quiet Hotel

Very clean rooms with comfortable beds and a nice quiet location too. The lady on the front desk was really helpful and I got the sense that nothing was too much trouble for her.

Couple of days break

Very comfy hotel. Staff couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast very good continental breakfast. Needed early breakfast which was no problem at all. Small fridge in room. Bed very comfortable, slept well. Pool really good size and would be good in the summer. Nice balcony overlooking the pool.

Restaurant next door was closed for holiday, was late in season. Plenty of restaurants a short drive away.

Jeanette is very friendly and welcoming. Most rooms come with a nice balcony overlooking the pool. The hotel feels more like a guesthouse/b&b. The locatian is good, close to some restaurants and supermarket. Easy walking distance to some pretty coves. The neighborhood feels safe.

Not much to complain about, but the bathroom could do with some maintenance.

Super little hotel

This was a great find. The staff were lovely. The breakfast was great. Everything was clean. Good value for money. It was convenient to have the restaurant next door. Situated just minutes from the beach. I thought that it was going to be in Benissa town but was very pleasantly surprised to be on the coast so near to Moraira. It’s a lovely resort.
