Friendly managers and staff. Went out of their way to help. Beautiful location.

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Hotel war sehr flexibel mit der Änderung unserer Buchung!
Die Unterkunft ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Essen war ok. Etwas teuer.

Magnificent location. Amazing experience, with easy airport transfers, tours arranged and personal trips also arranged. The staff are fantastic, going out of their way to assist.
The restaurant is great, the food was amazing quality. Bungalow clean and comfortable. Mt Yassur and the blue cave are a must do while staying here.

Nothing!

facilities and food quality are ok overall.
arrival and check-in experience were not pleasant. took a lot of time, they tried to look for the missing people instead of focusing on those who were present. I chose to stay at this place mainly coz their website listed the tours available, and the prices. but when I reached there, they said I didn't book for a tour (which I did via email), and said the prices on the website has increased. I booked a room with 1 double bed + 1 single bed, but they gave me a room without a single bed. and they didn't tell anything about this change till I found out. for all these unpleasant experiences, they NEVER said a simple "sorry" or apology, which is really bad. the boss was there hearing all these problems but he did nothing at all. truly disappointed with this place! very unprofessional!

Breakfast was great and the room comfortable and clean
Wifi was poor and access to snorkeling limited
10.0
Amazing food, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, lovely staff
7.0
Lovely gardens, quick food service, staff were lovely.
All the bikes are broken and were never fixed in the 4 days that we were there so unridable, even though we asked about getting them fixed, broken seats, flat tyres, broken cranks, broken pedals, no turtle snorkel tour and tours are more expensive than the other accommodation in the area. Very limited meal selection for lunch and dinner.
10.0
Right on beach in bungalows.
Air conditioning not required.
Rustic!Good volcano access
No access to non-resort meals.
Must remember that you are on a village oriented island.
10.0
Well maintained comfortable bungalows with vast ocean views and walk to the ocean.
Good food available in the restaurant. Lots of activities arranged by the hotel, which are a bit on the expensive side. The Port Resolution trip is a full ten hour trip covering a bit too much in the time so recommend the 1pm village and volcano trip. The volcano is the must do.
If it's calm the snorkeling off the end of the pier is fantastic with the outer reef having a 10m coral wall in great condition.

beautiful view and good all round.

The staff was tremendous. Excursions to Mt Yasur and the Blue Cave were beyond what was expected. This is not for everyone, but it was worthy of a bucket-list experience for us.

Perfect hotel to base yourself from for Tanna exploring
More variety at breakfast
7.0
Very friendly and nice staff and local guides as well as drivers. They made my trip free from worry and planning.
No air conditioning and bed net in the room, not much space for hanging the wet clothes.

The property is an ideal stop if you are wanting to go to the Volcano and or just read a book
The property doesn’t have close alternatives if it is impacted by ocean conditions which make it impossible to dive or snorkel. The food options and quality was disappointing

-well spaced apart villas with a very pleasant outside atmosphere. it was close to the beach and had lots of fresh greenery around the villas.
-restaurant staff was very nice
-their restaurant served one of the best food during our stay in Vanuatu, fresh fish, lobsters etc.
-access to snorkelling from the beach, they also provide free hire of mask, snorkel and fins
-they have tours available that you can book
-I booked two 2-bedroom bungalows (one sea view and one garden view) and a double room as we were a family of 9 adults and 4 children traveling together. On check-in I was only given one 2-bedroom bungalow (garden view), a 1-bedroom villa and the double room. I asked why I was not given the sea view 2-bedroom bungalow I booked for and they said that this was a problem of booking.com (because I booked through a third party website and not directly to them). Also, they said that there isn't a sea view bungalow (only garden views). This was very disappointing as I specifically booked these kinds of rooms as we are travelling as a big family. To add to the disappointment, I was charged the same price as the 2 bedroom bungalow when I only got a one bedroom villa. When I complained about this to the staff, I was met with sass and attitude by one of their staff (do not get me wrong, majority of their staff are actually very nice and accommodating). I did not appreciate this, however did not want to ruin my holiday and hence just let it go.
-although they have many tours available, they are quite expensive.
-no aircon
-wifi does not work in the villa, you have to go the reception and restaurant to access this.

Personnel were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, helpful and accommodating. The property had a good location and pleasant atmosphere.
Limited food choices and catering facilities closing early in the evening. One had to drag their bags on sand to get to the bungalows, which also meant that sand got easily into the sleeping quarters, with whatever creatures amongst it.

Awesome location and awesome staff. It felt especially amazing after 2 weeks spent in the Tana jungle
The breakfast offer wasn't so great, a bit disappointed compared to other hotels that includes awesome buffet

The food is excellent although you have to eat at a time that suits them not you
There are a lot of things that were disappointing about my stay at this ‘hotel’. However some of those things could have been forgiven if not for the terrible or I’d say non existent customer service. The staff are totally unbothered by the needs of the guests and took no interest in helping us when it turned out that our flights back to the mainland were cancelled. In fact they seemed to find it funny that we were upset about having to extend our stay, even though this cost us hundreds of dollars and meant potentially missing a string of four flights back to the UK. These feelings were shared amongst the other guests at the hotel who were going through the same crisis. The staff do not speak good English at this hotel which makes it even harder to communicate. I’m sure the manager of this hotel will snap back in perfect English but that is because he is English! Everybody else who works at the hotel did not have sufficient English. To anyone else wishing to stay at this hotel please also understand that the rooms are not the cleanest and there are bugs everywhere in the room and in the bed as the netting around the bures have holes in them. The only redeeming quality about this hotel is the food, which happens to be fabulous although this is somewhat dampened by the fact that if you order lunch at 2:31pm you will not be served food as you will have missed the chef by 1 minute so it’s ironic how they can be punctual when it suits them but when it comes to informing you about timings for anything that doesn’t concern them, they will tell you they are on island time. Just please remember that when you stay here you should not have any expectations of being treated as a valued guest but as more of a nuisance. I really can’t express enough how this wasn’t just a ‘bad experience’ and that this hotel needs to make some serious improvements, starting with training the staff.

Nice garden, clean, big bungalows, well maintained, the food was excellent (the best we ate in all Vanuatu)!!!
Really friendly and serviable staff
- the manager was smelling alcool from 2m in the day,
- the cook sitting/laying in client sofa
- a bit too small pool
- not friendly receptionist
- everything is too expensive on the island for no reason
- when I complimented the cook for his excellent food , it really seemsed that I was extremely bothering him!
- no hairdryer in every room

Charlie chef really good. all staff friendly.
expensive if your are on a budget. they charge 4.5 % for cards so take cash. also tours are expensive. take your own snacks and menu a bit repetitious.

Perfect small resort, probably my favorite ever, anywhere. The grounds were immaculate, the view is beautiful, the restaurant is very good, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the beds are nice and soft. But the staff and management are OUTSTANDING! We stayed for only three nights but left feeling more like we had been visiting with friends rather than staying in a hotel. The couple who manage it are friendly, funny, extremely helpful and did everything possible to make us feel at home. Highly recommended!!
Only that I had to leave and go back to work.

The driver who picked me up from and dropped me off to the airport was nice.
- There was no customer service there. Staff gave me the wrong key for the room, they changed the flavour of the ice cream I ordered wihtout asking, no milk provided in the room, being zero helpful with the trip booking and etc. But this is nothing compared to how their manager Tracey treated me. She humiliated me. The price they charged me was completely different from what it was on booking.com. When I brought it up, she said she didn't care. She emphasised that I just wanted some free stay. She also expressed her worries of me not paying room/ meal services at the beginning of my stay. So I didn't order any meal from this place and because of there were no restaurants nearby I ended up having no lunch or dinner (breakfast was provided) but only protein bars (I brought from Melbourne) during my entire stay. I will also attach part of my email conversation with Tracey as proof this is not scam.
- It's said in the hotel policy that Wifi is covered in all areas, but the truth is only the restaurant has Wifi, and 90% of the time is dropping and not accessible. No Wifi in the room or other areas at the place. There was also no spa even it's said 'spa' in its name.
- Room is dusty and shower is mouldy. Spoons provided in the room are also dirty. Will upload photos. Tracey's dog (although it was cute) swims in the pool. The pool pump was not running, and it was not disinfected at all. Her dog also just pooped on the main road, and the poo was just left there in the middle of the day. I took a picture but not with a close look, because it looked disgusting with flies around.
- Very basic facilities. The room does not look like anything they advertised online. One of the lamp in the room was broken. My friend said it looks like a 2 star hotel. But the truth is it costs me 250 AUD per night.
This place is a nightmare and I would not recommend it at all.
