Had a nice beach, easy walking distance to other beaches and restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable and clean

Staff were friendly and accommodation
Amenities were clean
Close to food, drinks, groceries
Had a blast
Can't say anything negative about my stay

The staff was extremely helpful in meeting our needs regarding hiring a taxi, booking numerous tours and carrying our luggage up and down the wooden stairs.....considering we were a threesome of females!
Wifi sometimes came in then out of range....especially when outside the gate on the beach.
A very jovial and hard working staff!
I'll DEFINITELY be staying here again! My granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed her stay!
The unavailability of a resident restaurant. Food and drinks were easily assessible just next door but.....the prices were exorbitant and the portions small.
The hunt for reasonable and tasty meals was exhausting!

Great location and wonderful staff!

Excellent location on a stunning beach. There are places to eat nearby but they are expensive. That said, the porter was exceptionally friendly, welcoming and keen to ensure you knew where everything was and that you'd enjoy your stay. He should perhaps train the Receptionist in the art of customer service.
Reception staff not particularly welcoming or approachable. Everything seemed to be a chore and 'rules' around what had to be paid for were a bit tiresome. Extremely excessive deposits were required for beach / pool towels, especially given their poor quality.

Relaxed and quiet while still being near restaurants

Beautiful beach and nice homely premises. Well maintained garden and nature around. Staff really helpful and friendly. Room was nice and met our needs… feels really intimate.
Pool area is dated.

Apartment was spacious, clean and air conditioned. More than enough room for a family of 4. Decent kitchen facilities and the main bedroom was spacious with a huge bed. Bathroom was massive and shower was powerful and easy to clean 2 kids at once. The staff were the most friendly people I've met at a holiday hotel. They can't do enough for you from getting ice to even doing your shopping if required. Nothing is too much for them. Also we had a garden view room number 1 and we could easily view the pool from our balcony.
The only problem was the air con in our room started to smell a bit damp bit we never brought it up so it's not really anything to complain about.

Bedroom - the largest, most comfortable bed I have slept in for a long time. Loads of wardrobe, vanity space and a wonderful air con unit. It had a lovely little balcony with chairs and table and faced the garden which was really well kept with a lovely pool.
Living room - large, spacious with a good amount of seating.
Kitchen - has everything you would need for self catering.
Bathroom - large, clean with a great shower
I stayed in room 15 - I had to unplug the phone and a unit above the tv as the light pollution coming from these items was enormous. The windows had some great shutters, but above them was a curtain that let a little light in, so with all these put together the room was too bright for sleeping. Once I unplugged everything it was slightly better.
There was an air conditioning unit in the next door hotel which was very very noisy, and the fridge in the kitchen was also quite loud.

Nice sized suite with balcony overlooking lovely gardens. Access at the front from the lake road full of interesting birds. Access at the back right onto the beach. Welcome grocery pack was very convenient. Several restaurants in walking distance of the Buccaneer.
All good.

Great location

We found this to be perfect for our needs. Well situated and steps to the beach. The unit had everything we needed for our 1 week stay. It was nice to sit on the patio for coffee in the am. The staff was helpful and friendly. Oscar, the grounds keeper, goes above and beyond to accommodate the guests and pays attention to small details. Its walking distance to a few good restaurants. The beach is stunning and beautiful to walk .
We felt like we had more mosquitoes on the inside of our suite than the outside.

staff extremely accommodating and friendly
coffee maker didn’t work
couldn’t find an ice bucket
never brought the wine glasses
4.5
proximity to beach, also the ambience and friendly staff
I feel there should be a full stove with oven in the suites, a shower curtain in the bathroom as water spills onto the floor, a clothes rack to dry swimsuits etc

The little colorful cabanas were pretty. It was a cozy amount of cabanas.
The bathroom fixtures were very loose. I did not want to be faulted for a bit of a run-down bathroom.
