Originalität der Zimmer in diesem historischen Gebäude sind beeindruckend. Zimmer und Bettwäsche sind sauber. Gemeinschaftsduschen sind sehr sauber. Die Mitarbeitenden sind sehr zuvorkommend und unkompliziert.

In den Gemeinschafts-Dusch-Kabinen fehlen ein paar Ablageflächen und Haken, um Kleider und Utensilien trocken zu halten. Die Böden in den Zimmern knarren teilweise, was aber dem historischen Gebäude/Heimatschutz geschuldet ist.

Very helpful. Answered all my questions. Stored my bag when I had some time to kill before going back to Britain. Gorgeous gardens. Right next to the station in dornak. A three minute walk from a supermarket. A five-minute walk from the local open air swimming pool. A five-minute walk from a pretty little suburban nature reserve along the River. A 15-minute walk from the huge enormous open air swimming complex up at Reinach.

It is an old cloister. It's fairly hot in the summer. But you can always chill under the trees out side.It is also central so there is a bit of traffic and train noise. None of this really bothered me.

A fabulous find so near to Basel. I was looking for a quiet relaxing weekend to rest and work. So beautiful, the gardens, the location, the bed and breakfast all excellent. Staff were very hospitable, Thankyou

Historic place, room was small but big enough for our stay, shared bathrooms were very clean and super modern, breakfast great too.

There was a slight misunderstanding about the breakfast charge, but the receptionist cleared it all without any fuss. So NOT really a negative!!! Maybe make it really clear at arrival.

Charming room offering plenty of character; pretty garden; good restaurant in the grounds; good breakfast. Perfect location for visiting the Goetheanum.

Shared bathroom was quite a walk from the room and pretty basic.

My room was in the back looking out over the garden. Very nice. The monastery is an interesting place to stay in. Cultural program in the evenings, which I couldn't attend because of work, but still, nice setting.

It's an quaint old building, with wooden floors and doors. Not really soundproof, and the heating pipes are singing their own kind of song all night long. Though, nothing some earplugs can't cure...
