Quote, nice pool area w/ plenty of towels.
We rented the main floor, 3 room villa. It was spacious, clean, lots to do with the foosball table, pool table, pool & games. The kitchen was equipped with everything needed too. The staff was very friendly & helped us find late night dinner delivery.
The maps directions are correct so just be aware.
My only feedback is to get curtains the cover the entire windows as when you want to have complete privacy it is not possible in the living space because the curtains aren’t large enough. Oh and not exactly beach front. It’s more of ocean view but the “beach” is all rock.

The Casa Maria is well kept and clean. It is a 7 minute car ride to central Bucerias and about a half hour walk. The view of the bay is stunning. The pool is extremely relaxing. Ivan (property manager) is incredible. Hard working and extremely friendly. Will help with any questions or concerns you may have.
I feel that there should be a “quiet time” rule applied from 11 pm to 8am as not everyone who stays here parties till 2am. Respect towards all guests should be considered. The noise level is sometimes quite loud and shocking as the stairwells echo. Dogs that were staying there with their families were off leash and quite loud with barking in the stairwells which isn’t always respectful to all guests. I feel that glass tableware and glasses should not be allowed in the pool area and that the management of the Casa Maria should provide plastic drinking glasses in their suites for guests to drink poolside safely.

Nice view, very friendly staff!
needs tons of upgrades, including safety in bathroom and stairs to the beach are incredibly dangerous, etc.

This is a very private quiet property to just relax
It is a bit far from town so you have to plan your outings versus spontaneous decision to go for a drink etc

the staff, the location, the view
not enough kitchen items
need: oven mitts, paring knife, wine glasses, smaller water glasses, cookie sheets that fit in oven. Not all burners worked on stove.
Need a stand with shelves in the bathroom, need facecloths
Need a propane barbecue. the current barbecue is old and rusted

Ivan was great ! Very helpful. He makes really good Pina coladas. Went the extra mile to get a taxi for us.
A little far from town. The walk on the beach was easy except for about 100m of gravel. But doable.Sukhawas a very good nearby beach restaurant.

Great location excellent staff beautiful Mexican style Villa. Everything was perfect.
Can’t think of anything we didn’t like.

beautiful location with nice views from balcony and pool area, surprising large room, nice staff
Not very clean (mainly shower area), needs some TLC (deck chairs were nice but dirty - needs a ( min power wash), deck table was broken (loose top) so cups nearly fell. quite s bit of street noise. bare plots on either side and at 230am someone was burning the grass right against our wall with tall flames. Kitchen had everything except a toaster but a bit short on crockery cutlery and glasses. Pots and pans need to be tossed and replaced

Gorgeous room, so traditional. The view is breathtaking 😍
Kitchenette is spacious and clean, well equipped with microwave, coffee machines, and blender. The bathroom is clean but needs more shelves.
People above us were thumping loud, even after midnight. I couldn't sleep

The rooms and the pool and if you were fantastic. Ivan went out of his way to be very helpful and made the best Margaritas
The access to the beach was very difficult because it was missing two steps from the stairs to the actual sand. And I wish there was a breakfast at the resort instead of having to walk to get breakfast. At the rooms had full kitchens in case you wanted to stock up and make your own breakfast. Unfortunately I only stayed a day and a half so I didn’t have that option.

There was no breakfast, but didn't expect it. The location was between La Cruz and Bucerias. It had a beautiful ocean view with a nice, quiet pool area with plenty of shade and sun. Staff was was very pleasant and helpful. Near a busy highway for access.
The kitchen supplies could be improved. More glasses and utensils including toaster, can opener and potato peeler. Also one large mixing bowl and newer pans with proper handles and lids that fit would be beneficial. The beach was not good for swimming with rocks and the area was recovering from a past tropical storm.

Staff was great. Location close enough to action but nice and quiet.

Professional, helpful staff. Ivan at the front desk was readily available to answer any questions and had great activity suggestions. The view from the room was exceptional and the ocean waves lulled us to sleep each night. Beautiful sunrises from our patio!
Having a car would have been ideal as taxis were not always reliable, but just make sure you call well ahead of time. It's an easy 30 minute walk on the beach into town and there is a lovely restaurant on the beach only 5 minutes away.

Ivan was fantastic did everything he could to make my stay comfortable. Had stomach upset he was kind to get me soup from the market. Stayed at the property during the hurricane to ensure everyone was ok.
Nothing nearby no market or store too secluded.

The view and staff were excellent
The beach in front is rocky but a short walk and the beach and swimming is great

View from the room was nice, location is good, and staff at the hotel including the local manager was courteous and tried to solve the problem, however since he couldn't solve the problem (parking related), he asked me to call outside-management, who simply ignored my problem.
There was no parking available for my car (very small parking and was full all the time). I had to leave my SUV outside the first night which was very inconvenient and not safe. Situation got worse the second day, so I decided to leave the hotel (3 nights early). I called management asking for a reimbursement of at least 2 nights, since they confirmed that parking was available, but they ignored my request. I ended up losing 3 nights. Definitely, not a hotel that I want to deal with in the future.

The ocean view is the ONLY positive about this property.
The hotel looked nothing like it does in pictures. The game room is no more and we were without water twice during our stay . The bathroom stunk like sewer and we were given an old dingy sponge to wash any dishes ( which we did not use by the way because they didn’t look clean to begin with ). The pool was closed for cleaning earlier than we were told at check in. I could probably go on but, I won’t.

Nothing
Too far from restaurants, walking aéreas.Too outdated and dirty pool. Unable to sit in front of the beach. Looks sketchy.

Quiet property off the beaten track. Room was quite large. Staff was wonderful and open with suggestions for day activities and restaurants. Ivan was so friendly and kind.
Taxis weren’t familiar with it so we had to call for directions.

This is the place if you like a bit of solitude and peace and quiet. The city is close enough. This small, charming Mexican condo was right on the beach. Walk to conveniences or a short taxi ride into Centro Bucerias or La Cruz. Huge apartment with kitchen.Cleaning service every day. Super comfortable beds. Ivan, our 'concierge' was absolutely THE BEST!
