Stay here for perfect sunsets and chill vibe. Friendly and easy. Good food value and great drinks!

Live music nightly made the restaurant bar wonderful and it was not so loud that we (toddler included) couldn’t still sleep in our room.

Booking was a challenge as we kept getting priced for 2 bungalows based on the fact that we were 2 adults and one child. Eventually we communicated directly with the property and sorted it out. One bungalow was fine for a couple with a toddler. Multiple asks for anything because communication seems to go person to person thru several people, means some requests not met (like having the proper number of towels). Not a big deal - just be flexible and keep asking!

Für 2 Nächte auf Gili Air optimal und tolles Restaurant mit guter Stimmung gleich am Strand

Lage gut zu Fuß zu erreichen und abends war im Restaurant ein bisschen was los, schöner Sonnenuntergang und schöne Anlage :)

Wasserhahn war nur provisorisch repariert, sanitäre Anlagen generell etwas abgenutzt. Moskitonetz wäre schön gewesen, da die Tür immer einen kleinen Spalt hatte, aber es war Trockenzeit, deshalb ging es. Sehr begrenztes Frühstück inbegriffen, obwohl es aus dem gleichen Restaurant leckere Alternativen gab :)

I would not reccomend

Didn't really like anything except the location was nice.

Where do I start ... Food = terrible Drinks = terrible Staff = ok Rooms = very average. I only really need two things when I travel... a comfy bed for a good nights sleep and a decent shower. This place has neither. We left the Lumbung and moved to the KOHO because it was so terrible.

Very good

Fantastic spot on the beach watching the sunset each night and breakfast each morning. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean with good air-conditioning. Not too far to walk to the main street and away from the morning call to prayer.

Breakfast is limited to 1 item on the menu. The pool was basic with little shade. We had to ask for a bottle of water for our room each day. Would be good if there was a large water cooler in foyer to refill bottles. Much better on the environment. Would be good if bike hire was included in the price. We did hire bikes for one day (only used them for 2hrs) unfortunately the sears didn't stay up, they did not have a bell, and the brakes were not good.

The facilities were very good and everything was accessible from this hotel, renting bikes, beautiful sunset point! Breakfast was lovely and around the hotel it has many options for great food!! The staff was helpful and super friendly!

The only thing we didn't like, is that the hot water only lasted for literally 1 minute when you shower!

Great location, amazing staff and breakfast was fantastic. The best spot in Gili Air for sunset/ sunset drinks!

While it didn’t bother us too much personally it’s worth people being aware that the hotel in a busy and very noisy location with lots of party’s and festivals happening either at the bar or close by.

Would definitely return

Meals were exceptional, so fresh and yummy. The beach was well cared for and what better location to watch the boats and sunsets.

Our room was very basic but had character. The only thing it lacked was tea/coffee facilities. There was no hair dryer but one was provided when I asked.

Was the place to be for sunset drinks

Great location and super friendly staff. My bungalow was the cutest thing ever. Loved the outdoor bathroom.

Was fairly noisy with the music at night and the mosque in the morning. Had to wear earplugs every night!

excellent location along the beach with several bars and restaurants close by. it is the best section of Gili air in my opinion. Plenty of bean bags to sit on the beach and frequently live music at night. bungalow has very comfortable king size bed and cold A/C.

sometimes music was loud at night trying to sleep and didn’t stop until 11pm. if you go to bed early or music isn’t your thing might want to stay somewhere else.

The hospitality of the Gili Lumbung Bungalow family was the icing on the cake!

Exceptional hospitality and in my opinion, one of the best locations on the island. Beautiful clean light coloured sand directly in front, just a few steps down to an exquisite ocean lagoon within the reef that I swam in for hours. Best at high tide for the swimmers and bathers, incredibly enticing for exploration at low tide. The service was excellent, as were the friendly staff. Very comfortable beach beds and shady umbrellas when required. I went to the Gili's to CHILL and CHILL I did! The incredibly warm and friendly hospitality of the Gili Lumbung Bungalow family was the icing on the cake, as were the sunsets from the beach in front!

Best location on the island!

The location doesn’t get any better. The bungalow is spacious, the AC works great, and the food is good.

The first night I was there, the next door hotel had a party that lasted until 2am with very loud music and I was unable to sleep. I chose Gili Air because it’s supposed to be much quieter than Gili T but that wasn’t the case.

I'd planned just one night at Gili Lumbung Bungalow, I loved this place so much, the area on the beach for customers, my bungalow and happy staff made it impossible not to ask if they had availability for an extra days stay. This place will stay found in my memories as a solo traveller. The location to sit and watch the sunset, walk in the sea on white sand. Beautiful! Shower and look up to see palm trees through the open top shower. Chill at the front of the bungalow porch or in the hammock reading Lonely Planet Bali mapping out your next day trip, or just reflect on the beautiful beach and time the staff create to make you welcome.

Best Choice in Gili Air

I love the Position of the Hotel, because its located in the best place to enjoy the sunset and the sea. I love the vibes, everyday you can enjiy the sunset drinking a good cocktail and often they organise live music and parties at the beach.

Magical place

This place is magical. The bungalows are really really pretty and the outdoor bathroom is so nice. The staff were also really nice!

Good value for money, friendly staff, nice facilities!

It was nice, the staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was lovely. The yellow curry in the restaurant was amazing, order that, you won't be disappointed!

A mini fridge in the room would have been nice.
