We stayed here with our family of 4 and my husband's 92 year old father. Bedrooms were spacious, beds were comfortable, and the unit was large enough for us all to spread out. Generous supply of beach towels, chairs, and equipment made going to the beach easy. On breezy days there was no need to turn on the AC, as the unit has two sliding doors, fans and many windows to allow the air to stay cool. Wonderful spacious kitchen with large granite countertops for easy meal preparation. The pool area was an easy short walk behind the unit, but never noisy. Lionel was immediately responsive to any inquiries, even supplying two types of coffee makers to satisfy all coffee making preferences. We highly recommend Lionel and his lovely unit.

I thought parking was gonna be an issue turns out there was just enough for my guest n I near the pool area and the walk is brief from unit to pool and car….
Although we keep it around 76 degrees on thermostat it was much colder downstairs for sure so happy that went well…

We loved this comfortable, quiet house on beautiful grounds! Lionel was a great host. He answered questions quickly, and communicated well.
Our favorites about the house; super-comfortable beds, the spacious, light-filled living room with comfortable seating, and close location to the pool, but still a private setting with very little outside noise. The view out the living room windows, across the golf course was lovely, and the lanai was also private, with nice planting around it. The house was very clean, and having ceiling fans in all the bedrooms really helped with keeping the temperature comfortable.
It is also a short 10 minute walk to the beautiful Hilton complex, where you can walk around for free.
Our least favorite things: we didn’t use the lanai as much as we wanted to because the furniture was very uncomfortable and awkwardly placed. Investing in a couple of arm chairs and a small side table for drinks, and moving them from the uneven steps to the other side of the dining table would help a lot!
The kitchen was, overall, very good for a rental. But there was no Kuerig, and the coffee maker is definitely on its last legs. We could have used more plates. With 6 of us, we had to wash plates after every meal, and didn’t have any extras for serving food.
Also, not a big deal for us, but the soaking tub in the master bedroom is only effective for a small child to soak in! 😉
Overall, we would definitely choose to stay there again and highly recommend it!

Thank you for opening up your home to us. We enjoyed our stay. Everything was very clean, as seen in the photos. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well supplied with all our cooking needs. We also appreciated the beach chairs, towels, umbrella, and ice chest. We would love to stay with you again.

We had a great stay. The location is excellent - close to A-bay and a number of other great beaches along the coastline. The amenities in the kitchen in particular were phenomenal, allowing us to cook many meals. Also having a number of beach items was great. Plenty of space and comfort for my extended family.

We've been to the big Island around 10 times now and have stayed in hotels and condos and always looking for something better each time. This location is the best so far and we all agreed that we would stay here again if we can.

After a little confusion getting in we never stopped enjoying this home. I did wish for a Swiffer as we stayed three weeks and I had to use paper towels to clean the kitchen area.
There could be one more chair on the upstairs patio.
All of the beach items were very useful.

Our stay here, was first made easy by Lionel. He was very quick to answer and help out. The house is exactly as described and has all you need for your visit to Hawaii. It is in a great, very quiet neighborhood. His home is steps from the pool. His supplies for the beach and pool are more than enough. We had four adults, a toddler and an infant stay and we all had comfortable space. I would highly recommend this house to stay in.

Check in was quick and easy. The provided information was very thorough. Communication with Lionel was fantastic. He was very responsive and helpful with any questions/needs from the time of booking through checkout. The home was clean and very well furnished. We did not need anything. There was plenty of beach gear and pool toys. A high chair and pack and play provided for an infant. Even 2 bikes! Kitchen had plenty of cooking supplies and even came with a good assortment of spices/dry goods. We really appreciated the provided laundry detergent so we could stay on top of laundry. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time at this property. Unit had everything we needed (missing a couple very minor things), beds were very comfortable, and Lionel was very helpful and prompt with the few questions we had. Like almost all locations on the Big Island, you'll need to drive to beaches, but this complex is very quite and has a great pool area.

The place was nicely appointed, very clean, exactly as described on the listing. We will stay here again for sure when we bring our family with us to the island. Would likely stay somewhere a little closer to the action if we went without the kids =).

Nice, comfortable place!
Our family enjoyed staying at this house for our visit to the Kona side of the island. We were given the wrong code for check-in, but Lionel immediately called me when he noticed (via Ring camera outside the door) that we were having problems. The house is spacious and my husband was happy to find that the a/c worked very well. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen could have been a little better stocked (no black pepper, ziploc bags, foil or plastic wrap). The washer and dryer worked well. We enjoyed use of the main pool and spa which were nice, as well as the beach equipment (boogie boards, chairs, cooler, towels). The Waikoloa Colony Villas property is super clean and nice and we'd definitely come back. Thanks Lionel for a great stay!

Great 3 bedroom location for Golf and Hilton Beaches.
The property was roomy and comfortable for my adult family of 5. The fans & air conditioning was great. The pool is small, but nicely close by. We enjoyed the Tommy Bahama chairs and 3 boogie boards provided. Found some nice beaches and a few good snorkeling spots.
The condo carpeting was Very dirty. They need a good cleaning. It also would of been nice if a mop was provided, besides a broom. We Stayed 2 weeks and would of used some cleaning supplies. Also we had to buy paper towels and TP, not a big deal, but annoying.

Door key
We were unable to return the front door key to the lock box as it would not open for us to put it in.
We left the door key inside the condo as I was unable to contact the property manager before we departed at 6am.
I am congruent that I will not be charged

Do not book here
My family left this property having taken great care of it. We stay at the Villas every year and this was by far the worst experience we've had, anywhere. There were so many things that we needed (in the kitchen, cleaning supplies, etc) that weren't there. The owner has accused us of completely false claims. We weren't able to fully move in until 6pm on the day of check in due to it still being cleaned. We did everything that was asked of us upon check out (and more) and are still being asked to pay an additional $500. We emailed a very respectful rebuttal to his claims and he threatened us to call the police because of bullying. If I were you, I would NOT give this condo a second look.

Great location, great for families and super close to pool access
We had a great stay! Loved how close the home was to the community pool. Super convenient to King and Queen’s shop, and beach access. The owner was superb! Great response time and communication.
Will definitely book again when we come back to Kona.

Central location, fair price
This condo is very nice and spacious for a family. We stayed here with my brother, his wife, and 3 year old, plus myself, wife, and 15 year old. Plenty of living space downstairs and 3 nice separated bedrooms upstairs. Large lanai just off the living room for sitting out in the fresh air.
The close proximity to the pool was an added bonus, it was immediately adjacent to the condo, as promised in the listing.
For the Waikoloa area, it is just as central to amenities and beaches as anywhere else, as you have to drive to the surrounding beaches, anyway. The condo is also very close to one of the Colony Villas gates, so coming in and out with a vehicle is very convenient.
Lastly, the host, Lionel, was always very responsive and helpful with our various inquiries.

Perfection in Waikoloa
I can’t say enough good things about this property and our host Lionel. The condo is spacious, super clean and the perfect location to shops, pools, walking trails and the beach. Lionel was great to work with through the whole process. One of our best VRBO experiences to date!

A great place in paradise
Comfortable beds, nice pillows, well stocked kitchen, outside space on a lovely lanai, just what we were hoping for. Spent several weeks at Lionel's place and got to do so much from this location. 30 minutes to Kailua-Kona, less than 2 hours to Volcano National Park and restaurants/shops in the resort. Pool was just out the door and Anaeho'omalu Beach just a 5 minute drive. This was our favorite beach for swimming and there are lots of beach "toys" to take with. The drying rack in the garage came in handy. The condo area is quiet. The best prices we found for groceries was at Target in Kailua-Kona but Island Gourmet was handy to pick up few things. Wonderful place.

We really enjoyed our stay. The home is beautiful, clean, well-appointed, and conveniently located. The host is very responsive and easy to communicate with. Fabulous hawaiian getaway
Lionel's big island villa was absolutely perfect for our winter getaway with our kids and au pair. The house is spacious, nicely appointed, clean, and has everything a family needs in a home away from home. The master bedroom bed was probably the most comfortable we've ever slept on aside from our own! And the property is close to so many wonderful beaches, local shopping, and an easy drive to town for more affordable groceries. We loved it! Lionel was also wonderful and super responsive. We would highly recommend this vacation house and would definitely go back. Thanks so much for a great vacation, Lionel!
