The property is very well appointed and the location is ideal. We know Samoens well, having stayed there frequently over the last 20 years and we were very impressed by the chalet.
The next door neighbours act as agents for the owner and are super friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble.
Would definitely stay in this chalet again.

What an outstanding chalet to stay in for a large family gathering over Christmas . We had every possible home comfort we could of wished for and just a short walk into town made it perfect for evenings out . The ski bus can be caught just outside and made the trip to the slopes so easy and what wonderful slopes they are , all in all the best ski holiday we have experienced

Yvan's Chalet "Le Chardon Bleu" is beautiful, clean, and everything is in perfect condition, everything felt almost like brand new! Joëlle, the neighbor living in the chalet next door, greeted us at the house and was there when we had questions. Our stay in the chalet was great! We particularly liked the huge open space kitchen/living area with the fireplace (we used it every evening), the tasteful furnishing (and christmas decoration), the quality dishes, glasses etc., the lamps, the four bedrooms (each with a privat bathroom), the handy ski-room, the big TV, etc. etc. It makes such a difference when both the architect and the interior decorator do their jobs as if it were their own house! Using the ski bus would have been simple, but we opted to drive the to the ski lift by car (5 min). Due to lack of snow in early January 2016 we could not go to Flaine by ski (only 35 of 265km of ski slopes were open) so we had to drive there by car - about 50 minutes but well worth it.
With good snow conditions I would go back to Grand Massif any time, and I can definitely recommend staying at Yvan's Chalet "Le Chardon Bleu". Only minus: we could not use the garage.
