NOTHING. I had notified them that I required late check-in on the date of arrival. They did not revert to me, and as a result, I had to change my flight as I didn't want to arrive with no one to allow me in as my flight was an evening one. They only reverted to me because I wrote to Booking.com.
I arrived the next day to accomodation that looked nothing like what was advertised. There is a mattress with a torn sheet in what is supposed to be part of the living room. Some lights and plugs weren't working.
I only stayed in that house for the 2 hours it took me to find alternative and decent accommodation. The most horrible accommodation I have ever encountered.
The house was filthy. There had been no effort to clean it in preparation for our arrival, but the build-up of dirt suggests it's probably never cleaned.. The walls were grimy. The kitchen counter had rice and crumbs scattered all over it. The wc walls were dirty. I had to use a jug to fill up the cistern. The linen was dirty. There was actually a boot mark on the sheet in one of the beds. It was possibly the most disgusting place i had ever been!

The breakfast can be a good option in that place but they need to get good utensils and equipments.
You don't feel comfortable in that place because there are too many terms and conditions and there are hidden costs like the iron was very bad and they higher you R50 per 30 minutes, I will never again

Nothing just that we had a shelter to stay in
Linen was dirty and I reported but was never attended to, blankets were not enough for 8 people, TV wasn't working it seems they didn't pay the dstv, the were no glasses to drink with, mirrors are broken. Even when we arrived we were not welcomed well because we came late but we notified them a day before that we will arrive late.
So all was bad

i was very disappointed with what the owner of this place did to us. We booked and paid for this guest house but when we got there the was stories, they lied and told us they stole electricity cables and gave us another guest house but when we pass there we saw people having a nice braai and there was electricity.😫😫
The guesthouse that they gave us was very very bad and there was a big scary dog that followed us around the yard,we were scared to be outdoors and locked ourselves inside the whole weeknd. We only went out if there was someone who’ll hold the dog so that we can pass.

House was fine,it accommodated my family wit everyone having a room to sleep
It was filthy, dustbin was left in the house and the flies were everywhere in the kitchen area, there were big cockroaches everywhere and that scared the hell out of my kids they were even felt uncomfortable being in the house.
The entertainment issiue was on the Dstv that was not paid for,the humiliation of watching channel 100,what a disgrace
Staff issues,so unprofessional with unnecessary delays whereby cleaning was done while I was waiting and I think they need more training to communicate properly with clients and explains all the amenities thereof

We had the whole house to ourselves.
The caretaker there was very helpful and went out of his way trying to help us settle in even though he was under strict telephone supervision by his Boss
The car parking was very steep and unsafe very difficult to park and driveout.
The place had big crockrouches, insects and smelled terrible, the bath tub and shower curtain was unclean.
We struggled to get hold of the owner/displayed number outside the gate, with the phone going through but unanswered.
The Owner was very rude, telling us booking time was strictly till 18:00, not considering where we come from far nor the rainy conditions and traffic experienced when we had already paid for accommodation, we cant be treated as if we are school kids and controlled.
It was very dissapointing for someone who is in this business but ignorant of the fact that conditions were unfavorable due to rain causing untolerable traffic, which was estimated 2hrs with misty roads.
He said we could have called to notify him, but we told him also that as our service provider, who was already confirmed he could have also given a courtesy customer call to find out if we are coming or not.
We were expected to hire use of a kettle/iron and stove as well as had displayed info charging use of electricity too.

The cottage was very beautiful, plenty of parking, enough utensils, extra blankets. I also liked the fact that the guy took time to explain a few things to me.
Definitely didn’t feel safe with the broken gate that can’t be locked. We had to manually open it and it was quite hard. The staff could be a little more considerate. I didn’t like that when I went to ask for chairs (which we didn’t have in the cottage), the guy kept speaking to the other ladies in a language I couldn’t understand. Had ro stand there for a good 3 minutes waiting on them to decide whether I’m going to get the chairs or not. He also looked quite annoyed. There was 8 of us so we definitely needed the chairs as the couch couldn’t accommodate all of us. Otherwise, everything else was good. One other thing, we found an underwear in the bathroom which I would assume belonged to previous guests, so a little more caution on the cleanliness side of things is needed.
