About this house rental

This charming light and airy, open plan, three bedroom, fully self contained cedar cottage has gorgeous views from every window. Nestled amongst the Karri trees it is close to Ocean and Light's Beaches, the Prawn Channel, the Bibbulmun Track and Monkey Rock.

The expansive back deck is perfect for afternoon bbqs whilst listening to the crashing surf from nearby Ocean Beach. Wake each morning to the sounds of birds singing as you plan your Denmark holiday. Situated in a quiet street this house is surrounded by trees , where you will find yourself unwinding as soon as you have unpacked.

The property comfortably sleeps up to six adults in it's 2 queen and 2 single beds and is perfect for both families or couples. The fully equipped kitchen contains a microwave, dishwasher, gas cook top and electric oven along with all of the usual mod cons including a coffee pod machine (Caffitaly System). The bathroom has a shower situated above a deep bath perfect for soaking in after a days sight seeing and a hair dryer is provided for your convenience. There is a separate toilet and laundry complete with washing machine, iron and ironing board.
Also provided is a high chair and porta cot (no Linen) for any infant guests.
A selection of board and card games, jigsaw puzzles and books await your attention. Whilst a slow combustion wood heater will keep you warm regardless of the temperature outside as you settle in for an evening in front of the flat screen television. All linen aside from beach towels is provided.
This is the perfect place to explore all that Denmark has to offer. Book for a few days and you will never want to leave.

Iluka Cottage was a wonderful property to stay in both from the location (set in trees, not overlooked although a car is needed) and property perspectives. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, the bedrooms were lovely, the outside space outstanding and it was lovely and clean. We would highly recommend this property A*****

It is obvious that the owners of Iluka love and care for this property. We arrived to a very well organised and clean home. It is an older property, with dark hardwood floors and high ceilings. Like a forest cabin. The bathroom and separate toilet off the laundry are older, but were very clean. Our first night it was quite chilly and the whole house was nicely warmed by the amazing flued fireplace. The next day it warmed up and so we enjoyed the kookaburras and wrens from the balcony as we sipped a glass of local wine. Linen and beds were super clean and comfy. It seemed like anything we needed could be found in a drawer or cupboard. The water got hot, not tepid. There were sanitary bins in the toilet and shower, which seemed to be missing in all the other properties we stayed on our holiday (a simple but notable positive). Wifi and Chromecast worked a treat using the apps I have on my phone. We were only five minutes drive from Denmark centre. Also, the master guest room had a games and reading lounge area with two reading chairs which my parents enjoyed in peace away from playing children and dinner preparations. Would recommend to any families looking for a safe and private base, away from other families and noise. Or small groups looking to enjoy home cooked food and wine on the deck or by the fireplace. Big thumbs up!

Our family had a lovely few days gazing out into the treetops, reading in front of the wood fire, cooking delicious meals in the well equipped kitchen, and braving the blustery weather to walk and even swim at the nearby beaches. A great place to stay!

From our arrival, to the rapid rectification of a minor issue, right through to vacating, everything was easy and smooth and exactly what was advertised. Our only feedback would be to put flyscreens on all the windows. We enjoyed opening the place up to get in that fresh country air, however with no screens we also let in plenty of flies. Other than that, we had a great time and would highly recommend Iluka cottage for a quiet, refreshing escape.

Lovely place for a family stay with a clean and qcomfortable and well equipped and maintained cottage. The balcony overlooks bushland and Birdlife we were visited by splendid fairy wrens and parrots. If you need to work from home at the kitchen table bring a short extension lead there are no power outlets nearby but the wifi is good.

Breathtaking. We were pleasantly surprised with how well equipped the house is. Everything we needed was provided and all we needed to do was sit back and take in the amazing views and property. The fire was prepared for us so all we needed to do was follow the instructions provided by the host and we were snug for the night. We are annoyed we didn't get to stay longer, but we will be back and we have already recommended this stay

We had a wonderful stay, perfectly located with a stunning bush outlook, yet a short distance from town. Quiet and private with everything we could possibly need provided for us. Comfy beds and the indoor fire was much appreciated after a long hike through the valley of the giants. I highly recommend Iluka cottage and would return without hesitation.

This cottage is well located about 6kms out of the town of Denmark on the way to Ocean Beach and in a quiet semi rural area. The house is nicely furnished and very well equipped especially with an excellent slow combustion fire and huge supply of firewood. There is everything you need for a relaxing holiday break and we would love to go back in warmer weather to make better use of the stunning deck facing the forest.

Iluka cottage is located in a beautiful location, and close to town. The house has everything you need (including a rice cooker!) to make yourself at home. Our children were particularly impressed with the WiFi, which isn't always good in Denmark. Our hosts were lovely and we would definitely recommend this place to our friends.
