Quirliges Hostel mit guter Lage.

2 voll ausgestattete Küchen. Wunderbar zum zusammen sitzen und erzählen. Lage direkt am Wasser mit toller Aussicht. Vom Hostel aus kann man für Wanderungen zum Ryten und Kvalvika Beach direkt starten.

Sehr hellhörig. Keine Verdunkelung zum schlafen vorhanden. Mit der Mitternachtssonne ist das dann ein großer Nachteil.

Underbar personal liksom allt annat var. Jag kommer tillbaka!

Underbart hus på ett underbart läge i en underbar trakt redan "nere på marknivå" -- som fick hakan att hänga nere i marken under hela klättringen upp på Rytten. A miracle of a view! Turkos-vita Kvalvika Beach från ett fågelperspektiv drömmer jag fortfarande om -- även på dagen.

Facile à trouver, bon emplacement, lits confortables et arrivée facile. Possibilité de cuisiner

La chambre n'était pas parfaitement propre (pansements usagés, poussière), lits à faire nous-même, parties communes sales (notamment cuisine et douche, pour les toilettes c'est aléatoire). Isolations thermique et sonore quasi inexistantes.

Er waren veel faciliteiten bij het appartement aanwezig, het was gemakkelijk om er zelf te koken. Het contact met de eigenaar was heel prettig en hij reageerde heel snel op vragen.

Het appartement is toch wel wat ver van het centrum.

Schöne Lage und Aussicht

Unterkunft war groß und geräumig. Die Lage am Wasser ist traumhaft.

Geschirr war nicht wirklich sauber. Arbeitsflächen waren einigermaßen sauber, aber Schränke, Lampen und ähnliches war nicht so sauber. Im Wasserkocher war noch Wasser. Topper auf den Betten waren verschmutzt, aber die Matratzenschoner darauf sauber.

Für ein paar Nächte okay - nicht zu viel erwarten

Direkt am Wasser - super Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen - Personal nett und hilfsbereit mit Tipp's für den Tag etc. - Beide Küchen gut ausgestattet (Kaffeemaschine, Ofen,... ) und super Blick auf Wasser und Berge

Mit dem Bus sehr schwer zu erreichen. Es fährt ca. 1x am Tag ein Bus über die Brücke, ansonsten sind es ungefähr 40min zu Fuß... - leider war der Boden des Zimmers nicht sauber - das Haus ist alt, weshalb es wirklich sehr hellhörig ist (egal ob der Wasserhahn in der Suche, Schritte auf dem Flur oder im Nachbarzimmer) - Stockbetten sehr eng wenn man unten liegt - keine Schränke im Zimmer für Gepäck - oft keine Steckdosen am Bett bzw. im Zimmer

nice stay

It was low season and I got an upgrade and stayed in an apartment. The view of the sea was nice. There was everything what I needed, comfy sofa :) It was simple and old, but very very comfy. My dog stayed without extra charge.

There were other guest upstairs and I heard noises from steps :(

Top Lage, super ausgestattet, klasse Aussichten, nette Gastgeberin, aber extrakosten für Facilities

Super Lage, tolle Ausstattung, alles da was man braucht :) - ideale Unterkunft um die Umgebung, bspw. Ryten & Kvalvika zu erkunden

Die Betten waren nur Einzelbetten, die wir als Pärchen zusammenschieben mussten.. sind aber wieder auseinander gerutscht und das Badezimmer Licht hat teils 20-30 Sekunde gebraucht bis es anging. Extrakosten für bspw. Jacuzzi, Sauna etc. das sollte im Preis inbegriffen sein.

冬にハイクができるところということで、 Rytenを教えてもらいました! スノーシューズのレンタルもさせてもらえ、おかげで最高のハイキングができました! チェックアウトなどすごく融通が効く感じで荷物を置いてもらえるなどとても親切にしてもらえました。部屋から見える景色もとても良いです。またシャワー用のタオルも用意してくれてるのはありがたかったです

この宿にいくためにレンタカーを借りました。もしバス亭から歩くのならかなり歩く必要があると思います。もし車がない場合は、お昼くらいにRytenにハイキングにいく人が多いのでタイミング良ければヒッチハイクで乗せてもらうといいと思います。スーパーなど近くに施設がないので買い出ししてから向かうことをおすすめします。

Una ubicación impresionante. Una casita de pescadores típica fuera de los pueblos creados para el turismo. Una experiencia muy buena y tranquila.

Bellissima struttura al centro del porto

Posizione perfetta nel pieno porto sopra un attività di pesca ma senza odori sgraditi. Struttura molto accogliente, con grandi e ben arredate aree comuni. Pulizia ottima. Bagni in ottimo stato. Camera comoda e ben arredata ma priva di armadio.

Cucina leggermente indietro rispetto al resto dell'ostello ma comunque in buono stato. Nel periodo da noi visitato (marzo 2024) servizio ristorante sospeso fino al primo maggio.

Sehr empfehlenswert!

Wunderschöner Ausblick mit der Lage direkt am Ufer und der Möglichkeit für Wanderungen zum Ryten und Kvalvika Beach. Die Betten und Zimmer im allgemeinen sind sehr gemütlich und gut ausgestattet. Die Küche bietet sowohl jegliche Utensilien, die zum Kochen benötigt werden, als auch Platz zum gemeinsamen Sitzen und Entspannen. Die Besitzerin ist auch sehr sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit!

Ein zusätzliches Badezimmer wäre angenehm. Busverbindungen etwas kompliziert (teilweise etwas langer Weg zur nächsten befahrenen Bushaltestelle)

Sehr empfehlenswert

Schönes Hostel mit Lage direkt am Ufer und Fußweite zum Start der Wanderstrecke zu den Ryten und Kvalvika Beach. Das Bett ist bequem und in der Gemeinschaftsküche findet man alles was man braucht. An der Rezeption gab es Kekse und an den Wänden findet man einige Informationen zur Umgebung. Die Gastgeberin ist auch sehr hilfsbereit und schaut ab und zu vorbei, ob alles in Ordnung ist.

Es könnten mehr Duschen vorhanden sein und es wäre auch praktisch, wenn in den Toiletten Spiegel und Handtücher wären. Man konnte zwar in der Küche schön gemeinsam sitzen, aber ein separater Gemeinschaftsraum wäre ganz nett. Eventuell mit einem Fernseher oder Gesellschaftsspielen. Außerdem wäre es auch praktisch, wenn in den Zimmern ein Regal ist, wo man Kleidung oder andere Sachen hineinlegen könnte. Die Bushaltestelle ist etwas weit entfernt.

La vue magnifique Point de depart de belles randonnées

Le supermarché le plus proche est a Ramberg a 6 km (1h15 a pied). La seule chose qu'ils ont et que l'on peu acheté sur place c'est de la biere (100kr), du vin ou des cacahuetes.... L'arret de bus le plus proche est a 3 km (40 minutes a pied) Bilan : il faut s'arreter a Ramberg pour acheté de la nourriture avant de faire 1h15 de marche (s'il y a un bus 40 minutes) pour arriver a l'auberge ...

Für eine Nacht ok

Die Lage und der Preis sind wirklich unschlagbar. Die Unterkunft hat eine große Küche mit den nötigsten Utensilien. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und schön eingerichtet.

Die Frau an der Rezeption war leider nicht da, als wir ankamen, und telefonisch auch für 10 min nicht erreichbar. Check-in war daher nicht so easy wie gedacht. Wir haben ein 2-Bett-Zimmer gebucht, haben ein 3-Bett-Zimmer bekommen (1 Bett frei) welches leider eine schlechte Aussicht hatte. Es war alles bisschen dreckig, was vermutlich an den anderen (wirklich vielen) Gästen lag. Die Küche und Bäder waren daher auch ständig belagert. Es war sehr hellhörig, die anderen Gäste waren nicht besonders rücksichtsvoll. Wir mussten unsere Betten selbst beziehen und abziehen. ich habe mich wie in einer Herberge gefühlt.

Calm beautiful stay

This is a beautiful place, isolated after the bridge but really confortable, calm and beautiful. Staff is nice, enthousiast and helping. There are 2 kitchens with fires, oven, fridges etc. The deck with confortable chairs in front of the view was really great. The room was big, beautiful, calm and confortable. Shared bathrooms and separated toilets were clean, and good size. It is posible to go to the Ryten and Kvalvika beach from the hostel, and another beach close. There are sauna and jacuzzi at the place.

You have to know that there is no restaurant or grocery store nearby. But we knew and brought our food, and it is fine!

No way I’m going to stay here again. Price and quality does not match.

Location is nice, close to the hikes. Nice view.

Too loud and very old facilities. Paper thin walls with really bad sound proof. You can hear noises from all directions, from neighbor snoring, from people talking right outside of bedroom window, people walking up and down the stairs, and people walking on top of your roof. I paid 180€ and I expected more. It’s not because of Lofoten area is expensive because I booked another hotel deeper in Lofoten with same amount of money and it is 10 times better.

Sylwia and Julia are extremely friendly and helpful and very keen to help everyone.

After the many great hostels and youth hostels with friendly hosts, this one is a bitter disappointment. It is run very loveless and only the bare necessities are provided for. I strongly advise against a longer stay (if possible none at all). For the many beds there are only two toilets and two showers, there is no common room except for the too small kitchen (use from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. is prohibited) and everything is very noisy. The owner is grumpy, but rarely to be found and, unlike her staff, not at all bothered. Instead, she put up a tablet with prices for, among other things, showers (50NOK), sauna (500NOK) and use of the washing machine/dryer (100NOK).

Good base for Lofoten trips

Good location for a daily trips on Lofoten islands. Room quite big including kitchen and bathroom. Separate bedroom is nice when you travel with kid. Huge tarace with view on the bay and mountains. A lot of place to sit and enjoy the view. Staff really amazing!

Can be loud when group of tourists do the party on tarace.

It is an old house. It is quiet in the night but as soon as people start walking around, you wake up. I was prepared for that and it is normal, does not make it a bad place, just go to bed early

Very nice location in front of thé fjord, possible to expérience a great sauna and jacuzzi. Owner very dedicated. Bé aware that fredvang IS not served by bus, it IS a 40min walk from thé bus stop with 2 bridges to cross, and there IS no restaurant nor supermarket in fredvang, but there IS a good foodtruck near thé last bridge. Idéal location to Bégin thé kvalvika and ryten hike

Would stay here again.

We had a spacious apartment with a great view over the fjord. It was a great location to do the walk to Kvalvika beach (which we liked).

The bistro on the property has closed and it was a 6 kilometre ride on our bicycles to the grocery store, so we bought some meals from the food van at the rest area.

Most beautiful place to stay - though not the best hostel around.

The location is amazing, fantastic views all around, and a great base for most beautiful hikes. Within 20 min easy walk we could reach the beach by the camping site to view the midnight sun! The staff was most helpful and nice!

If you are traveling without a car, it is NOT easy to reach by walking. more than 3 km of walk on narrow bridges with some uphill. If you are with a backpack - it became not an easy walk at all - thought the views are stunning! The same to leave. The dormitories are with 8 pax!, The walls bw the dorms and the kitchen are so thin - you can here them cooking and talking way into the night. The communal kitchen is a bit disappointing: small, and not much cooking or eating spaces. And it is the only communal space: around the table with its kitchen chairs. So if you have a bunk bed at the top - you don't really have anywhere just to rest... Remember to bring food with you, because there is no meals at the hostel, and no food shop or restaurants in Fredvang.

One night before Ryten hike with cold showers

Friendly staff, kitchen was fully equipped, good location, dog friendly (180 NOK fee).

We didn’t check reviews properly, so didn’t know about cold water in shower at the evenings. When I went to speak with a lady at reception, she said she doesn’t know what seems to be a problem, maybe just electricity issues, and I should try showers on the 2nd floor. The water turned cold almost immediately, I ended up taking cold shower and got sick.
