The boys and I had an amazing time. House has excellent access to the west bay, dock was perfect for fishing and a small boat. Sunrises off the dock were amazing every day with fish surfacing everywhere. We fished from kayaks mostly but did very well on bass and pike, even off the dock. Communication and help from Mike was outstanding. Already thinking about next summer.

Comfortable, checked all boxes.

Place was perfect for our quick fishing trip. Micheal was very quick to respond and very helpful. Location was perfect. Close to a launch, fit two boats on dock easy (one on boat lift), and beautiful views. We will definitely be back.

Mike has a nice place with beautiful sunrises!
Enjoyed a relaxing week. Marina very close to house. Lake had a lot of weeds around dock for October.

This was our second time staying at Mike’s place. It was ideal for our fisherman to launch the boat just a few minutes away and keep it at the dock the rest of our stay. Mike was extremely responsive, helpful and understanding when we had our own difficulties. I highly recommend Mike’s place for a lakefront getaway!

Always an amazing time, great location great host.

Camp…needs better/more comfortable furniture.
Nothing owner can control but backyard property next door is a real eye sore….waterfront access could use a good cleanup. I know it’s Oneida Lake and it’s not a clean lake but…..
Positives: A/C, well stocked, keyless entry, outside space
Owner went above and beyond. Mike is an excellent host!

Excellent location, plenty of room; great views. Couldn’t access boat launch was a minor issue.

The property was perfectly located to my family and everything that we wanted to do! The lake view is beautiful and peaceful. The host was amazing to work with. It is a lake house and you can tell it is closed up mist of the year so when you walk in it is a little musty but we opened the windows and within an hour all was fine. Will definitely stay again next time we come to town!

We had a lot of fun and enjoyed our stay. We fished off the dock, used the canoe and firepit. The location on the lake is beautiful, very quiet area. The house was tight for the 6 of us, but doable. The house had everything we needed for our stay. The AC is a plus for the hot humid days. My only issue was upon arrival we found many cobwebs and spiders in and around the sliding doors.
Great communication with Michael, easy checkin. Thanks.

Wonderful lakefront property
We’ve been staying at Michael’s property for a few years running now. The house has everything you need and is located on a quiet street on the northwest portion of the lake. We hope to continue renting from Michael for years to come. Awesome place, awesome host. Highly recommend.

We stayed for a fishing trip the first week of May.
We enjoyed our stay. The place was nice and was adequate for the five of us.
We would come back again.
Easy to rent from, check in and check out was easy. Beautiful lake!

Nice place
The rental was decent, on a nice water spot. Though the house is aging they’re keeping it nice and clean. I think the only suggestion would be that some more comfortable beds are in order. Also more queen beds!

Disappointing
The biggest problem was not the hosts fault but probably due to climate change. The lake was covered in a green slime which was very smelly and in the air you were breathing. It was not a healthy situation. The floors in the house were sticky when walking in bare feet and need to be cleaned. The bed in the front room has a mattress which is about 3 inches deep and has a big lump in the middle. If you aren't physically fit and sit on the "couch" you may not be able to get up from it. Extremely uncomfortable. We only used the oven once to heat up pizza and the smell of gas was very strong.. Otherwise everything else was ok. We enjoyed the fire pit and outside deck. I might add we stayed here last year and our experience was much better than this year.

What details were omitted abut the property.
My two guests got to the property before I did. They did not stay more then a half of an hour. The over whelming musty smell is a condition that is terrible for anyone with any breathing issues. The guests couldn't adjust the AC, no matter what mode the thermostat was set. The bedding consisted of 3-4 inch lumps of cloth. The back porch was covered with a slippery green. To get to the water one has to wade/walk a fairly large island of green weeds.

Nice getaway
Property was very nice and we had a great time. The house had everything we needed for our stay and provided lots of fun for the kids and dogs. The grassy area off the deck was nice and hard to find at most places.

Exceeded expectations
Clean and supplied just about everything you would need. Dock fit my 19ft Bayliner but water is shallow by dock. The Canoe provided by owner is great and kids loved it. 6 people slept comfortably.

Relaxing stay with friends
Nice location on the lake. Very relaxing. Large outdoor porch. Our husbands were able to fish from the dock but never caught the big one. Upon arrival the floors needed attention. The carpet could use a good shampooing. The house is larger than it looks and was very accommodating. It’s location is close to a lot of things to do. Host is attentive to our concerns. Love to visit in the fall.

Unforgettable experience!!!
Location was amazing, house was perfect and the host was there when we needed him. Couldn’t say enough about this experience. I will definitely be booking this trip again next year, can’t wait. Thank you mike for a great experience my teen age boys loved it. A memory they will never forget Will be booking again next year for sure.

Shouldn’t pay cleaning fee
There’s a list of things to be done when we leave such
as doing the laundry vacuuming and cleaning everything in kitchen and bathrooms. Why did I pay a cleaning fee if we were to clean every thing . I wouldn’t advise anyone with a bigger boat to rent as water was very shallow at the docks. Otherwise the place was great

Fishing spot?🎣
Quaint cottage clean with sliding glass doors 2 rooms gives you beautiful view of the lake from majority of the living space. Deck is partially covered so we could play catch with my dog even though it rained most of the time we were there. Dock was down a few steps from deck and across small yard with very easy access. Would not be hard to run extension cord to dock if needed. Not many posts on metal L shaped dock to grab but stable, just keep your balance. Dock could accommodate canoes, kayaks or maybe small boat but very shallow with "weed island" obstructing outer half of it. ( Yes, so thick my springer spaniel walked on it without sinking in). Nice bay to fish with clear water and places to tuck in when there's rough water. We saw 2 osprey carrying fish, geese with goslings, a beaver swim by and yes fishermen drifting by catching fish just out from the dock. We didn't use the metal canoe there because it was so cold and rainy but looked inviting the day we left when the water was like glass. Parking was limited and L shaped around front of house. Not long enough to leave a trailer attached. Neighborhood was quiet with friendly people walking leashed dogs on the road more so than any car traffic. Oh, and 2 marinas with launches ($10) are a bike ride away. Overall, very comfortable clean older cottage with everything we needed. Just wish there was more access water depth by the dock.

Great little stay
Property was just as expected, clean and very spacious. Water very shallow off pier to see fish, but no luck catching any. Would be a nice perk if owner allowed use of canoe. I picked up laundry detergent and dish soap and stuff to keep up with the dishes and laundry.

The accommodations were perfect. My teenagers and myself really enjoyed our time !
Michael was attentive to all my questions. And responded quickly. The premises had everything and more that we needed. It was great I would return there in the future.

New Years 2021
Spent a week with my family for New Years 2021 and we had a blast in the snow. Michael was always quick responding our questions. Will definitely be back in the Summer.

Pulled up to the property and saw a nice older house on a lakefront lot. We went inside to a nicely decorated nautical theme. The inside is remolded without losing the charm of a lake house. It included about everything we needed for the weekend. The house is very roomy along with the deck overlooking the lake. The dock was easy to tie up my boat and just a short walk from the house. The fire pit in the back and makes a prefect evening. Can’t wait to go back!Cookie and Dale 10/23/20
