Place was perfect. Very clean, had all the necessities you will need. Great location. The noise that others have stated coming from the small bedroom is annoying but otherwise everything else was good!

This was a fun little apartment right in the heart of downtown KC. There was lots of stuff around it. It was clean and spacious. Parking was a little bit of a challenge to find but that’s the only drawback.

Perfect place for our small team to stay during a conference in KC. A clean, secure, and welcoming space.

Nice unit. However, the secondary bedroom had a loud intermittent noise akin to a plane engine which was coming from the ceiling. Sounded like something that must be part of the HVAC system. Was very annoying and disrupted sleep.

Our stay in KC was the first stop on our road trip and this was an ideal location for all we wanted to do! Clean, spacious, and accommodating for all 5 of us. Jack Stack BBQ is a must - we ordered to go (make reservations in advance for dining in). The streetcar is a great way to get around and is a short walk from this place.

This loft is in a building that is on the historic registry in Kansas City and has been fully renovated into a charming loft with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. It was exquisite! It was clean, cleverly arranged with plenty of space for 4 and more people since the futons were able to make into beds. Nice appliances and amenities! It was easy to access the owners, and they were wonderful about replying quickly. Couldn't have had a better experience. The rooftop lounge was wonderful as well. We were all very well satisfied! It was easy to find, close to many activites and restaurants, and I will definitely stay there again when in Kansas City!

Spacious and comfy condo in the Power & Light District. Had an issue with our special request for parking our over-sized moving van, but it all worked out in the end. We would definitely stay here again.

Apartment was spacious and in a great location right in the middle of town. Beautiful building and the apartment was well suited. Work out room and rooftop patio were great bonuses. Everything we needed was right there. We will definitely be using this place again the next time we are in KC!!!

Great vacation rental conveniently located. The floor plan is open with two futon sofas there in the open, which are fine and comfortable enough to sleep on if you don’t need privacy. The two bedrooms have very comfortable king sized beds with really soft sheets. We liked the place and would use it again if we needed something in the area.

This is a nice place and conveniently located. A few things that might be of concern. We arrived around 12am our neighbors next door were still awake and partying very loudly, which you could hear quite easily through the adjoining walls. They continued until we unpacked and went to bed at1-1:30am. Shutting the bedroom door helped quite a bit, however if anyone would to be sleeping in the living room it would have been hard to fall asleep. While unpacking in the master bedroom we noticed right away, a stain on the bedspread.(gross) Checked the rest of our bedding and all seemed to be ok. At this point we were pretty tired and crashed quite easily. The hand towel holder in the master bathroom was loose and coming away from the wall. In the common area there was some sort of spray on the wall by the TV (looked like spray from some sort of carbonated beverage.) There were small foot prints on the well by a couple swivel chairs. Like kids may have been spinning in the chairs. The cooking utensils and available cookware were very basic. Luckily our son was meeting us there(he lives about 4 hrs away) and was able to bring the things we need to cook a holiday meal. I mention the things above not to be critical, because for us it wasn't a deal breaker. However some would be turned off by these things. I had mentioned when booking our stay that I would pay for parking like they offer. And that didn't happen. I was told someone had taken the parking pass home and they wouldn't be able to provide it until the next day. Not a major issue but one more inconvenience. Overall, for our family needs these things were only inconveniences and not deal breakers. I did inform the host of our concerns and they assured us they would be taken care of before the next guests arrive. One more thing to mention. We stayed at Christmas time, so as stated above. We made a holiday meal of prime rib and such. All of the smoke alarms went off and we had to deal with waving stuff at them to shut them off. You might be thinking maybe we burnt our meal lol, but we didn't. The alarms were just sensitive, (as our neighbors would attest to after we heard there alarms going off a short time later) They too were cooking prime rib 😄 We would stay again because of the location and overall cleanliness and modern condition of the unit.

This was our second year to stay in Olivia’s wonderful apartment, and we think we’ll make it an annual tradition. This year we came to KC to attend a Halloween music event in the area of 18th and Vine, a wonderful area steeped in history and culture and only about 10 minutes away. Next year we hope to stay longer so that we can continue to explore the area and also enjoy the rooftop patio and relaxed atmosphere of the apartment for a longer time!

I can not say enough good things about this property and our host. We were there for a concert and the location was amazing. Very clean property, wonderfully decorated and well stocked with all we needed for kitchen/ linen needs. Our host provided excellent communication and answered any questions we had. I had such an enjoyable time I am planning a trip back with family and plan on staying again. You won't be disappointed staying here at all.

Downtown gem
I can confirm the overwhelmingly positive reviews of Olivia’s apartment! In the past I have stayed at a hotel in the Country Club plaza area, but I now have new favorite digs for my Kansas City stays! We were there last week to celebrate my brother’s birthday with an afternoon visit to the Van Gogh experience at the Starlight Theatre and an 8 pm concert at the Uptown Theatre. I was looking for a place where we could each have our own rooms but also have a common area to relax and be together, that was accessible to the highway, yet in a fun, safe area within walking distance to cafes, restaurants and parking. Olivia’s place is perfect. We used the metered parking in right front of the building during the day and a parking garage a block away for $10 overnight. Olivia allowed us to check-in early, and the process is easy-peasy. Her apartments with their colorful doors are located on their own floor along with the exercise room and rooftop deck, and they are connected by a well-lit, nicely maintained hallway that presents a welcoming, communal feel (also safe, as a code is necessary for entrance to the elevator, rooms and, after hours, to the outer door). Our loft was spacious and clean, nicely designed with an updated, uptown vibe, and large windows. Areas are well laid out for eating, gathering and tv watching, if desired. Showers are hot and have good water pressure, beds are comfy, and coffee is good. We loved everything right down to the welcome box of Russell Stovers candy and are already looking forward to being able to stay longer!
