Por el precio, bien si solo se va a dormir una o hasta dos noches

El cuarto muy cómodo, el aire acondicionado muy sabroso

La chica que me atendió, no sé si no me entendía lo que le preguntaba o tenía ya prisa por irse. En la recepción hay demasiado calor. La alberca estaba cerrada

Scandaloso!

Posizione buona per raggiungere il centro città

Il resto scandaloso: wifi all'arrivo non funzionante, alla richiesta di una saponetta per lavarsi il corpo mi viene detto di usare il sapone per le mani, ho dovuto lavare le tazze e i piatti della colazione, neanche un appoggio/stendino in bagno, doccia mal funzionante, solo due asciugamani grossi in tutto, colazione scarsissima e per due fette di pane e Marmellata in più ho dovuto pagare, spazi comuni trasandati...sembra più una comune che un B&B

Un personnel charmant qui ne peut compenser des locaux vétustes.

Extreme gentillesse du personnel. Petite piscine, bon petit déjeuner. Propreté générale hormis la piscine .

Chambre présentée = complétement aveugle. J'en ai demandé une autre laquelle était sans salle de bain privée mais on ne m'a pas remboursé la différence de prix car il avait été prélevé par booking. La chambre ne disposait que d'une petite table et d'une chaise et rien pour mettre ses affaires. Dans la nuit le climatiseur a rendu de l'eau. Je l'ai signalé. Quand je suis partie en excursion puis suis revenue et on m'a dit que ca avait été réparé mais non , et j'ai reçu de l'eau sur la tête dans la nuit de nouveau. Des excuses mais aucune ristourne de proposée.

It's ok, but needs some considerations

The common areas and the kitchen were really nice. The pool doesn't look super clean but it's always nice to have an option to cool down. I guess other rooms are nicer and more quiet. But it's quite cheap as well!

Noisy: We had a private room with our own bathroom, but it was behind the kitchen and garden and you could literally hear it if someone put down a cup, got water or... Anything! Same for the garden, if there's people chilling/talking you can hear everything. They also have a doorbell which rings right outside of the tiny (and only!) window of the room. They don't mention that the reception only opens at 8, so people coming in from nightbuses ring the bell (sometimes every 10 seconds) which sounds like it's in the room. Location: it's about 15-20 minute walk to the centre where things are happening. It's fine during the day to walk back and forth, but it prevented me from going out very easily at night, which is a shame because there are events at the main square every evening! Staff: a few (local?) ones are super nice and the cleaning staff is very sweet. There's also some volunteers (I am guessing) and they are friendly, but more concerned about socializing and chilling than for example taking care of breakfast it seemed :) but when you ask them they will help you.

Great WiFi, defo recommend to digital nomads

Room was comfortable but could’ve used more pillows, 1 pillow per person is not enough with a hard bed. WiFi was fantastic and very reliable, some of the best WiFi during my stay in Mexico. Good aircon. Didn’t use kitchen in room but it looked decent.

The pool was dirty and very uninviting, loss of mosquitoes around it. Got badly bitten just eating breakfast. Breakfast that was included was toast, and cereal, not very exciting. Was a little out of the way but wasn’t too bad.

Alojamiento muy descuidado

Lo único bueno es la ubicación y que hay zona para aparcar en la calle.

Desayuno escaso. La piscina se veía sucia, al igual que las zonas comunes. Habitación sin ventana. Paredes de pladur, con lo que se oía TODO lo de otras habitaciones. Pero lo que se llevó la palma fue que esa noche llovió y había una gotera dentro de la habitación que tuvimos que paliar con un cubo y toallas para poder dormir.

Nettes kleines Hostel mit guter Atmosphäre

Sehr freundliches Personal, Unterkunft entspricht der Beschreibung. Ich hatte mal Ameisen und eine kleine Eidechse im Zimmer, mir wurde auf Nachfrage aber sofort geholfen!

Etwas mehr Auswahl beim Frühstück.

Un peu déçu

Le personnel vraiment très gentil. La possibilité de faire faire la lessive. Partie commune sympa. Pas si loin du centre historique. Le caractère du lieu.

On était dans une petite chambre sans fenêtre et ça sentait l’humidité. La seul fenêtre était dans la salle de bain. L’ensemble ne faisait vraiment pas très propre… l’extérieur n’est pas forcément une des rues les plus sympa.

Increíble

Sus dueños Evelyn y Adrian te hacen sentir en casa, es un ambiente calido y que dan ganas de pasar una larga temporada en este lugar. Tiene diferentes areas de esparcimiento pero la mejor es el de la piscina donde todos los viajeros compartimos. La ubicación del hostel es muy buena porque esta cerca del centro y el lugar es muy cómodo.

Extremely clean, friendly staff who makes you feel home, near city center, breakfast included. Air-conditioning at night in the dorms. Lockers.

I would add fans in the common areas as there's sometimes no air and it can get really warm in the kitchen for instance.

Management booking people into beds & rooms they fully well know have bed bugs--- & the air conditioning is controlled by owner.

Nice accomodation for a short stay

- the bedsheets are made from polyester so it was very warm to sleep even with air conditioning - breakfast is very basic ( recommended to buy fruits or something for sandwiches)

Great location, and amazing facilities. Our private room was huge with a dining table, kitchen, bedroom (smart TV + AC), and bathroom. The shared kitchen was also useful. Breakfast is nice for a hostel. Nice staff. 10/10 would recommend

Please note there might be some noise from the chickens next doors early in the morning :)

Superb

Great staff, especially Carina as such a wonderful person always in an excellent mood and super helpful! Booked 1 night and stayed for 6 in the end. Enough bathrooms spread out on different levels in the hostel and descent breakfast to start the day.

Lovely, social hostal with refreshing pool and decent breakfast.

- Big, refreshing pool with both sun and shade. - Good common areas whether feeling social or not. - We asked to change room because we originally booked a private room without A/C and it was very hot (we were there during a heat wave). The staff were very kind and accommodating and moved us to an A/C room. - Free water. - Nice quiet neighbourhood area with some restaurants nearby and a 15min walk to Centro.

- The pool is closed for much of one day per week for cleaning. - Breakfast only available for one hour.

Maybe the best in Merida in this Price Range

The Personal is very friendly, especially Liz. The Hostal have a average Breakfast but still good for the Price. I like the kitchen, the Idea of Sharing things in the Kitchen and a space where you can put your own things. The Pool and the dorms are cleaned a lot of times during the day.

the dorms are small, and one of the dorms have a hole in wall where light came into the room.

staff are amazing, the kitchen big, location close enough, clean,

the room super hot and stuffy during the day. aircon works only during night. the whole building is very hot during the day, there is no place to chill.
