La localisation proche de la stupa et en même temps très calme. Personnel aux petites soins.

Welcoming friendly helpful staff, perfect location, very affordable

Very close to Boudhanath stupa. Large apartment, fridge. Nice terrace with beautiful view to the stupa. Good simple breakfast brought to table - out of a couple of choices.
Not much air, stuffy. Hot water not as hot as described all the time. Noise from the kitchen.
The large suite had windows close to the wall of the next building's kitchen.
The bathtub was not really usable.

Room too dark with windows too close to building next too hotel

The hotel is outside the noisy city of Kathmandu. It is directly at the Buddha stupa. This quarter is comparatively calm, no cars directly at the stupa. The bit advantage is the breakfast rooftop terrace with direct few of Buddha stupa. This is really wonderful.
A perfect place if you want to avoid noise and chaos and traffic of downtown Kathmandu. The quarter is calm and interesting. It is the quarter of Buddhist temples, a lot of Tibetan shops and temples.
The window is facing directly the ooposite wall, maybe half a meter away. No view and almost no daylight.

This was our second time here, so that indicates how much I liked the hotel. The location was stunning, and so close to boudha stupa. It would be a great spot to stay for those seeking some peace and quiet from the hustle and bustle of thamel. I really liked the breakfast too! The breakfast was delicious, and usually served on the roof top terrace overlooking the stupa. Stunning!
In the morning, the sounds of the shops near by opening their metal roller doors was quite loud (and quite early). Also, one morning, we needed to take breakfast in our room as there was an event on the terrace. It was no problem really, but there wasn't much more than a small bedside table to eat off, so it was a little awkward.

The location of Bodhiz is exceptional. It is very close to the stupa, and you can even sit outside on the roof for breakfast overlooking the stupa. It’s stunning and peaceful, especially in the evening. The staff are very friendly and helpful too. The breakfast options are all delicious.
It’s not really the property’s fault, but it is strangely very noisey at night - the local dogs can be extremely loud and bark for extended periods, and the stores opening up they heavy metal doors very early (5am -6am) woke us each day. On our second stay here we weren’t able to take breakfast on the roof due to an event being on. It was offered in our rooms, wish was fine, but there was no table so it was a little hard to eat.

good rooftop breakfast and Bouddha Stupa was in front of rooftop
while people talk in the lobby, sounds come inside the room.
4.1
Friendly and supportive staff, from the manager to the Stuart each and everyone was helpful
Property situated inside of temple where you have to by a ticket to enter, and it’s validation period is only one day, cleanliness must be improved a lot, dust at tea tray , bed vault and side table not been wiped in weeks, stains at bed sheets was a bit uncomfortable.

Excellent location, very close to Boudha Stupa very happy to be in walking distance from various restaurants, cafes and temples. Staff are very helpful and supportive of giving directions and helping with challenging taxi fares. The restaurant is very accommodating for dietary concerns. I am gluten free and felt very well with the traditional breakfast (just ask to swap roti with potato). Being the first time travelling to Nepal we were very happy with the care we received and how friendly everyone is.
Being in Nepal we did have some challenges but it was not at fault of the hotel. Be careful with the water, it is possible to get a little sick even if you drink filtered water. The room was very close to a restaurant downstairs and there was a little noise late at night and early morning. Nature of the busy Boudha area.

We've loved location and amenities. Having kitchen makes your stay more flexible. Drinking water was supplied according to our needs. Nice breakfast was served. Very friendly staff doing many efforts to make your stay comfortable.
Maybe restaurant facilities could be upgraded to make breakfast preparing somewhat faster.

Location was great and staff were very kind. I really loved the room, it was more like a suite and had a huge bath with hot water, very welcome after hiking. Also a kettle and some teabags. The windows on the room faced a wall which meant it was a little dark during the day, however no big issue if you aren't going to be in the room much. The rooftop restaurant view is great, you are close to the stupa and the breakfast here was really fresh and good quality. We had the local breakfast which was. Veg curry with paratha and a masala omelette, delicious. I am conscious about using plastic when I travel, so they had a water refill in the lobby which we could use free of charge which I was happy about. Also they have a super cute puppy! 💕
Unfortunately there was a group of people in our room before who seemed to be causing some trouble for the hotel and refused to check out for hours so we ended up checking in a few hours after the normal time. The staff of the hotel were very kind though and let me use the sauna for free to make it up. Also in the stupa area, there are so many nice restaurants and cafes where you can chill and admire the view it was really no problem.

The location next to the Stupa is great! And a nice terrace at the top, not directly next to Stupa but still with a great view for breakfast. Friendly staff!
There was no windows! Even though I booked a "luxury" room or such, the room was very dark. There was windows but on all sides they faced a cementwall 20 cm outside... So, no, not really windows - which made it feel very gloomy and closed. And very noisy.

I really enjoyed my stay at Bodhiz for my first night in Nepal. Wonderful staff! The location can’t be better.

Breakfast wasn't included in the apartment cost. I didn't know this before booking, but that's ok. Food on the rooftop was good, and the view was amazing. The room was spacious. The staff was very helpful. The room didn't get cleaned the whole week we were there, likely because we were in the "apartment". However, when we needed clean towels they were brought promptly. The bedding was crisp white bedding, very clean and comfortable.
Nothing really. It was all good. The airport pick up was perfect, the baggage porters were great, and the hotel management was kind. The owner even showed us where to get money exchanged and the hotel manager has perfect English and is always ready to answer questions.

The bed was so comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to help me with my heavy bag and to order a taxi safely. I was very grateful to them for making me feel so welcome. The location is excellent, so it is safe to stay out later and see the stupa at night time.
