Disappointing

close to the beach for sunset and local restaurants

The property was likely nice when first done. It seems that since then it has lacked care and attention so is becoming run down and isn’t really looked after First impressions you get is the 3/4 dogs the mother of the owner has that bark at you as you arrive each time to the property. They bark at everything and often barked until midnight. There are water bottles everywhere on the floor to prevent them from going to the toilet but they still did a poo and wee around the apartment and when the lady was asked to clean up the poo she didn’t bother. There are also a lot of cockroaches about which seems a problem given they had a lot of cockroach traps under the sink The apartment itself is an annex of the main house and was likely once nice and has two separated living spaces so you can have privacy even as two couples. The apartment isn’t looked after so scale for instance has built up on the showers and they don’t work very well with limited water flow. The safes don’t open either and when the lady was asked she said they don’t open but it’s ok as she’s around most of the time which doesn’t reassure you for your valuables given the apartment locks are also flimsy. The hot tub is set to sea temperature by default I assume to save heating costs so it’s cold and only heats when you turn the jets on that switch off after 30 minutes so we didn’t get to enjoy the hot tub as we were never around to get it to temperature before wanting to use it as takes hours to warm up. The breakfast isn’t a nice spread as per the pictures. It does have pastries from the local bakery which were nice but just placed in the box on the table outside. They don’t bother to check if you still have jams or cheese to go with the bread so when we mentioned they had run out they said they didn’t have any so would get the next day so the first breakfast was very dry.

Superb

Fantastic. They put a lot of thought and love into their property and it shows. Everything was well appointed. Breakfast served at 7 is fresh baked pastries and baguette. Kitchen has everything you could need. Wonderful hosts. Highly recommend. Very close to La Plage restaurant and the Tahiti et des Îles museum both of which are must visits when on Tahiti Nui.

Enjoy Papeete like a local :)

the property has 2 separate houses, each with a bathroom. one has a full kitchen. patio available with hot bath , dinner table , sofa ,… very convenient location near the airport and outside of Papeete. the owners are wonderful and helpful !!

you need your own car or transportation.

A very nice host in a lovely apartment

it was very comfortable and spacious

dishes in the kitchen were not clean and there was a dead cockroach in one of the cabinets.

Every little detail was covered just exceptional . If anything they undersell what is in offer two king ensuite bedrooms. One very separate from the other making it perfect for two couples to share.

Beautiful guesthouse with so much thought and love put into the decor of the home. The host was extremely generous with a special request and was easily contactable. After a long day out and about exploring the island, we were always looking forward to relaxing at Fare Anapa! Thank you!

Nice Accommodation, Smells Great and I Would Stay Here Again!

Very nice accommodation! - Boutique hotel feel that will remind you of the "W Hotel", but is actually better and at a more affordable price point. - I absolutely love their choice in different aromas that they use at this establishment, excellent touch! *The sense of smell is the first sense to develop outside of the womb and they use it well to make you feel comfortable, relaxed and at ease - I'm not easily impressed, but they without a doubt impressed me with how they decorated the place - whoever did it must have some expertise or training in home decoration & decor. - *They don't have a shower door or shower curtain in the bathroom, but seeing this before previously in Bora Bora leads me to believe that's not something they (*Polynesians) use - Great communication with the owner - Yes, I would stay here again!

We only wish we could have stayed longer!

We received a warm welcome from Laurette when we arrived. The accommodation is beautifully designed and offers all the amenities you could need and more. Breakfast included delicious, freshly-baked French pastries. What a treat!

Everything, the decor was amazing. This property property was recently renovated and looks like a suite at the Astoria Waldorf. Beautiful furniture and appointments, I would come back here anytime. Breakfast is served every morning, the host Laurette was sweet and very helpful. Great place!

This property Fare Anapa, was exceptional. Beautiful and extremely comfortable. The attention to details was on point. We felt like we were at a 5 star facility, but it felt like home. I’ve traveled to many different countries over the years and this Place is up there at the top. 💕 our hosts went above and anticipated everything we needed. Even providing a rental car when all the vehicles were all gone at the airport rental companies. Vatea , Arranged a boat for us to take my son’s ashes out to sea for placing his urn. It was a beautiful moving ceremony. It was his last wish to have Tahiti be his resting place. They Vatea, Tamati & Laurette, were so heartfelt for me and my 2 daughters. They showed us their hearts and sympathy that comforted us and made this journey feel like a vacation in paradise and not a funeral. Laurette even took me to church Sunday morning. I could write a book about our 4 day trip. We will be definitely be back next year to commemorate my sons resting place in Tahiti.

Perfect in every way

Absolutely over the top beautiful with every amenity you can imagine

All of the TV stations were in French. We found this to be pretty much the norm everywhere we stayed. A couple of English speaking stations would be nice.
