About this chalet rental
This oversized chalet is nestled between JFBB Ski resorts, with winter views of the slopes and two game rooms. Just a short stroll to the private beach / boat launch on the shores of Lake Harmony with attractions for every season. Featuring two game rooms that include a pool table, wet bar with mini fridge, shuffleboard, card table, foosball, ping pong, dartboard, mega touch and air hockey. An indoor hot tub room and two large decks are perfect for relaxation. The private back yard fire pit with adirondack chairs backing up to a boulder filled wooded lot is the ideal setting for evenings in the fresh mountain air. - Home includes Wi-Fi, plenty of parking and some starter paper products. Guests on extended stays will need to purchase/bring additional paper products. Minimum age requirement of 27+. Signed lease required. -Linens & towels are NOT included. They can be added for an additional fee of $200. The Manor is a quick 1.5 hour car ride from Philadelphia and a 2 hour ride from NYC. Dining options within 2 miles: Nick's Lake House, Shenanigans, Louie's Prime Steak House, the Split Rock Lodge, the Terra Cottage Café, Piggy's and Boulder View Tavern. Nearby Attractions: Big Boulder and Jack Frost Ski Resorts, Split Rock Resort, H2O Waterpark, The Town Center (bowling, arcade & movies), Split Rock & Jack Frost Golf courses. Roughly 10-25 minutes from the Pocono Raceway, whitewater rafting, Camel Back Ski Area, The Crossings Outlets, Hickory Run State Park, Hiking Trails, Horseback riding, Historic Jim Thorpe, Mt. Airy Casino, ATV rentals and additional golf courses.

My friends and I (~30yo men) all loved the space, we'd come back here again. In particular, the wide selection of games made it a perfect space for a guy's trip. We played pool, shuffleboard, ping pong, hooked up a Switch, and had a big poker game. The poker table was a really nice touch. Sleeper feature was the bar trivia game -- at least 2 friends were on it nonstop the whole time. The area is also very pretty, and the walk to the lake wasn't too bad. Back porch has a view of the ski mountain. Great space overall!

We had a very nice stay, the only thing I would recommend is to bring your own towels if you use the linen service because they were not very generous on number and size of towels.

We had 19 people stay for New Years. There was plenty of games to entertain everyone. Ski slopes are close by. Overall we had a great stay and would stay here again!

The host of this rental was extremely easy to work with. She was diligent about returning emails. The location is ideal for Big Boulder - (@ 8 minutes away)/Jack Frost. The area has ample restaurants within a short distance. The property had decks and inside, which was clean and ready for us, were multiple games to entertain our varied age groups. Included: pool table, ping pong, air hockey, shuffleboard and a lovely card table. The inside hot tub was another plus. Thanks for a memorable family gathering.

There was so much to do. I had planned karaoke, games and a paint night. It was so much more than that.
There was the pool table, darts, foosball, ping pong and AIR HOCKEY. My friend is now thinking of having her own event there.
The only thing I would say could be improved is to state the locations of the rooms (main floor, basement, etc).

My family and I stayed at this property over Thanksgiving Break and were extremely disappointed in a number of things. Toilets were clogged when we arrived, there was a broken bed in the basement with leftover clothing (bra and pants) from the previous tenants underneath, and the tv's in the bedrooms were unusable. The thing that we were most disappointed about was the cleanliness of the home. There was dust, dirt, and cob webs caked on the ceiling fans, doors, tvs, baseboards, corners of the rooms, etc., the dishes and cabinets in the kitchen were extremely dirty and we had to hand wash things before using them, and there was trash and clothing behind nightstands or under beds. I contacted the property manager and she responded that she would address these things with the cleaning company.
We did enjoy the spaciousness of the property along with the game rooms.

House was great! There were 12 people and still enough room. We particularly loved the pool table and shuffle board! Only con was the we had ordered the towel and linen package but did not have any upon arrival. Karly made sure they were brought up that night though!

Karly and Jared communicated with me throughout the process of booking and questions about the property. During the stay they communicated quickly about linens that were not there. Someone came that day with the linens. We were disappointed about the hot tub. We were unaware there would be a brown mineral deposit ring

Loved this house and the property. The location was great ... in the woods near Lake Harmony. The floor to ceiling windows in the Living Room gave us a great view of our daily visitors (Deer).
Each evening, after we returned to the house, there was plenty to do (Shuffleboard, Pool, Ping Pong, etc.).
My only knock on the house is that the description said Satellite/Cable TV. I "assumed" that would mean at the very least, the basics, like the Cable News Networks, ESPN, other sports channels and the likes of TBS, TNT and USA. Those come with most basic TV Packages. But not this one. Very limited. And the odd thing was that the company "seemed" to be based in the Central Timezone, so everything was off 1 hour.
This did not ruin our stay. We loved the place, but I'm glad we did not happen to be there when a game was playing, we wanted to see.
Again, I would recommend this house to anyone, just make sure you have your own streaming service to tap into if you want to watch TV.

This property is as advertised and did not disappoint. Open floor plan, spacious bedrooms and gaming areas, indoor hot tub, and large outdoor decks and fire pit. And it's in a really nice neighborhood/complex with woods and hills and spacing between the houses so you can sit outside and feel like you have some space. Communication from the owner was excellent and there were no surprises.

Place was beautiful. There a lot of activities to do inside the house. Lots of places to sleep. Only concern I had was the color of the hot tub. The water looked brown and discolored. But they informed me it was due to high iron. Responded quickly. Thanks for having us!

A beautiful home in gorgeous lake harmony. Cute, quiet neighborhood. Hot tub wasn’t as inviting as we’d hoped but Karly did her best to make it suitable and we are thankful for her attentiveness.

The property is spacious & gorgeous. The house fit our family of 18 perfectly. The amenities were wonderful & took full use of all the game tables and hot tub! So many memories were made with my siblings and our families. We can’t wait to go back!

The house was great for myself and about a dozen friends. Plenty of room to accommodate all of us, and plenty of activities to do both in the house and in the area. The home was in a great area, we utilized the local lake. Our hosts were easy to contact, and very helpful with any question. I definitely recommend staying here for anyone.

We had a great time! We had our 3 kids (age 4-8) plus my parents and sister. 8 of us though the house could easily accommodate more people than that. The basement was a great kid space with a bedroom (with 3 beds) plus a lot of entertainment options. Air hockey, ping pong, foosball table plus a TV area. Lots of great hiking in the area and the kids enjoyed the canoe and tennis courts. The beach area is a little small so I wouldn’t plan on spending tons of time there but the kids enjoyed it for an hour or two. I would go back.

The home was perfect for the nine of us. We all (ages 17 to 60's) enjoyed the game rooms. Short walk to the beach, and short drive to Jim Thorpe for "touristy" actvities. Restaurants very close by were good; try the Terra Cottage! Lots of deck space to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Communication with owners/property mgrs was excrllent. Great family vacation.

Plenty of room for our family of 11. Enjoyed the pool table, air hockey, ping pong tables. We used the fire pit to make s'mores one night and had a great time. We used the hot tub and it was fine. The kitchen had enough dishes, utensils, and pots and pans. The grill was fine. We were close to the beach. Enjoyed using the canoe too.

Stay is good but you cannot trust the host,They will charge you extra no Matter what? In the name of damage, even if you have rental insurance.she charge extra $500.00 just a spilled bottle of juice on the sofa and little stain on the stove.which is I already paid for clean and sanitized.This was my worst experience in the past trip. I tried to call the host ,never answered the call and she emailed me that she cannot talk to in the phone which is nonsense.so guys please don’t go to this place.she is going to charge you for dropping small pice of paper that you forgot to pick up.which is you’re already paid for cleaning.

What a gorgeous house! Our family of 6 had a wonderful time. Plenty of space to spread out. Loved both of the game rooms. Amazing hiking nearby. Hawks Fall and Boulder Fields were stunning. Will definitely go here again!

Attended two days for a retirement gathering. House had plenty of games and activities for us to do. Loved the outdoor fire pit area and the deer actually would stand right there with us with as many as 5 at one time. Would highly recommended.

Family vacation, 15 people, spacious enough for 20 people. Had a 40th bday party, indoor and outdoor space very sufficient. The kids had a great time with the games, lake, hiking, etc.

It was a perfect spot for a group of people who love to play games. Place was well kept and clean. The beds were very comfortable and we loved all the games provided and the game table to play cards and such. Even though it was unseasonably warm, we enjoyed the atmosphere of the fire pit at night. Thank you!

We and our family stayed at this great house for a little spring getaway. The house was very clean and offered so many wonderful things to do....two game rooms with pool, shuffleboard, ping-pong, air hockey,darts,bar games, a hot tub and plenty of room for quiet moments for those who wanted that.
The bedrooms were all lovely and spacious and the bathrooms clean and plentiful! The owners answered all questions ahead of time and immediately responded to our need for a few more cooking supplies. The home was everything we had hoped it would be and soooo much more.
The surrounding area offered many ways to get out in nature. Our entire family hiked to Hawk Landing and saw a beautiful waterfall. Once was enough for us, the grandparents, but our family did another hike just as beautiful on another day!
We all had a marvelous time at Magnificent Manor and cannot wait to return. You cannot miss with this Fabulous home and the ever so nice and attentive owners! Jump on it today and book a fun time! Glenn & Barbara April 2023

My friends and I wanted to get away for a low key weekend and this place was great. Very spacious, beds were comfy, the game rooms were great! Our first night we used the fire pit and hung out which was really nice. The second day, it rained all day but we had no problem occupying ourselves.
We were disappointed because the hot tub wasn’t working and that was one of the main things we booked the house for; but the owners were very upfront about the problem and compensated us.
Overall we had a wonderful stay and would def go back!
