This 3 bedroom ranch had everything we needed to have a wonderful visit to see family in Rockford. The listing details were accurate and we truly enjoyed our stay. There spacious kitchen was perfect for hosting meals with our guests. The games in the basement made for good fun. We will stay here again on our next trip.

Made our annual trek to Rockford to visit family for Christmas. While we could stay with dad for free, it would be very cramped on air mattresses and sharing 1 bathroom. The last 2 years, we have stayed at VRBOs. This one was in a great location for us and MUCH nicer than last year’s. Loved having a garage with an opener so I could avoid scraping windows. No complaints about beds as everyone got a queen-size bed. Dining room table accommodated our jigsaw puzzle frenzy. We even got some use out of the ping pong table in the basement. (And the washer/dryer) Host was very responsive and house had everything we needed - including dish soap and laundry detergent. So much nicer than staying in a hotel room with just a couple of beds and a desk. This we we each had some personal space, which made for a more enjoyable trip.

My friend & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was clean & well-maintained beds were comfortable. I really liked the double garage: we felt more secure with our vehicle locked up there, & it was very convenient with the remote garage door opener. The neighborhood was nice, too. We would definitely stay here again.

The interior was nicely done and we enjoyed the Foosball and ping pong in the basement. All the extras that are needed were provided. The outside could use a little yard work but overall it was a good experience.

Overall we had a great stay and the owner was responsive and we even extended our stay another night! Neighborhood was nice and quiet and easy to find. Back yard was perfect for our large dogs and the inside of the house is a great layout for large groups.

The house was in a quiet neighborhood, very clean, and tastefully decorated. I was traveling with adults, but this would also be a great place to stay for a family with children, particularly teens. The layout was great. Tim is an excellent host. I would recommend this property without reservation.

This property was exactly what my friends and I were looking for. Check-in was easy. I had an issue (user error lol) opening the lockbox that held the keys and called Tim. He answered right away but one of the other guys had just opened it. That was the closest thing to an issue we had. The house was clean and well-kept and everything we used worked without issue. Checkout was simple as well. I had a couple of questions the night before and again Tim responded promptly. All-in-all it was a great stay made more enjoyable by Tim's quick responses to our questions.

Loved this house! Was nicely clean and exactly as pictured. It was a perfect house to stay at while we visited family in town. Our 1-year-old had lots of room to roam and was perfectly safe with a closed-off basement and no stairs. House was well stocked and Tim was easy to communicate with. We will definitely book this house again for future Rockford visits!

This home is very comfortable and well-appointed. We especially appreciated having two bathrooms and laundry facilities. Our family had a great time here over Christmas, and we plan to book it again for next Christmas!

The home was very clean and cozy. It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The host, Tim, replaced the missing garage door opener right away and responded right away to my text messages. I would stay here again.

My siblings and I gathered from across country to celebrate my brother's wedding; we used the rental as "wedding annex"--the place to eat and rest as little bro's wedding was at their house. It was perfect--lots and lots of space up and down. We were all reminded of the grandparents' "new" house, in the 1960's and 70's, where we grew up gathering with aunts, uncles and cousins--kids heading to the basement rec room, picnic table doubling as thanksgiving family table. There is a large back yard which would be fun for summer games. If you have a family reunion in Rockford, this is the place--super clean, everything you need in the kitchen (even a dishwasher and lots and lots of plates), and, split between two or three adults, the price can't be beat.

The house is roomy and comfortably furnished. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. Kitchen is large and equipped with the basics we needed to prepare meals. Our dog enjoyed running around the large fenced back yard. Plenty of room in the garage for our two cars. Tim responds quickly to questions. Highly recommended!

This house was perfect for visiting family! Kitchen was supplied enough that we were able to cook all weekend. Plenty of open space for kids to run around and have fun. Beds are not as listed (no bunk beds) but we made it work. I will come back when visiting family again.

We returned to our favorite house on Chelsea for a family celebration with our 93-yo father who leaves in a local retirement facility. The quality of its bedding seemed to have been upgraded as well as the sleeping arrangements. The bunkbeds (used by two grandchildren years ago) were replaced by two new double beds, Much more comfortable for adults now. Thank you for your attention to these comfy details.
