About this cottage rental

Centrally located in a quiet, leafy street in Huskisson, Whitewash Cottage is the perfect place to unwind and relax in comfort. Ideally set up and suited to accommodate 2 couples (or a couple with older children), the stylishly decorated property consists of the main cottage with an adjoining studio. Both contain large, spacious bedrooms with queen size beds and private bathrooms. If needed, there is also a futon lounge in the studio that converts to a double bed. Quality bed linen and bath towels are provided. The studio ensuite also contains full laundry facilities, with a new front loading washing machine.

Whitewash Cottage has been lovingly renovated and repainted inside and out, with polished whitewashed timber floors throughout. The open plan living, dining and kitchen area, lends itself to the relaxed beachside lifestyle. Outdoor entertaining can be accommodated on the front patio and paved area with pergola, or in the large undercover area between the main cottage and the studio, with a barbecue and outdoor setting provided.

(Pets are generally not allowed on the property., however individual requests will be considered.)

Location, Location, Location...

Whitewash Cottage is ideally located within a comfortable, level walking distance to both beaches, (Huskisson Beach and Moonah Moonah Creek) and the local village of Huskisson. Stroll, or cycle along the shared footpath/cycleway - discover and sample all the gourmet cafes, stylish boutiques and tourist attractions that Huskisson has to offer.

Experience daily Dolphin Watch cruises and whale watching in season during June and November. Visit the historic Lady Denman Maritime Museum, with regular exhibitions, a fish feeding pond, and a Mangrove boardwalk. Hire electric scooters and ride from Huskisson to Vincentia. Watch the latest movie releases at the quaint cinema, known to locals as Husky Pictures.

A short drive will see you into Booderee National Park, with scenic bushwalks, idyllic beaches - both calm for snorkelling (Stoney Creek) and Caves Beach for surfing, local wildlife at Green Patch, the ruins of Cape St George lighthouse, and the only Aboriginal-owned Botanic Gardens to explore.

Huskisson Tennis courts, Vincentia Golf course, and the Bay & Basin Leisure Centre, with it's indoor heated pool and gymnasium, will cater for all sporting and gym enthusiasts. Scuba diving and fishing charters can be also be arranged locally. Kayak the course of Moonah Moonah Creek, and out into Jervis Bay, or view the underwater sealife through the bottom of clear, see-through canoes.

We had the worst experience ever. We signed up for this place because it was advertised as having internet and a pool which it did not. It was a very old manufactured home that had a terrible oder. I couldn't even sleep in the bedroom because of the smell. When I asked for a refund and to get another place the ower said, "No". We had to pay for it anyway and go get another place.

Property was very well presented and had everything you could need regardless of your length of stay. It had a more homely/cozy vibe than a straight beach shack which was very welcome to travellers who were looking for more than just a roof over our heads. Having a bedroom/en-suite separate to the main building would provide an ideal setup for 2 couples or parents/adult children. Location was roughly midway between the town Centre and beach so each could be reached on foot if desired. Check-in was a breeze and communication from Claudia was clear and timely. Would recommend to anyone heading to Huskisson. Thanks Claudia

The house was fantastic & had everything we needed for our stay. The smaller studio was perfect for the kids & gave them their own space. Location was in a lovely quiet street, but only 5 mins from Huskisson village & the beach. Would recommend to anyone looking for a weekend away or a longer break.

We stayed here in Feb 22. It was a beautiful property and close to moona moona creek , dolphins tour wraf and all the resuratnts. It was very clean with all amenities, except for wifi which would have great for casting to tv. Highly recommend this to everyone!!!! The host was very friendly and accommodating to our request. Thank you Claudia for a wonderful stay!!!

Cute property. Great location. Very clean. Well equipped- with those little things that you need when staying such as coffee plungers, cleaning products and plenty of tea towels. Good communication with host. Lots of nice little details in property. I reached out to the host just prior to coming down asking if there would be any Christmas decorations, as had children staying and Claudia kindly set up some Christmas decorations. Such a lovely and kind gesture to make our trip just that much more special.

Beautifully furnished, good for older families and the kitchen was well equipped kitchen, including for a change, sharp knives. The house is located in a quite street, but still close to the beach and shops. Would stay at this property again.

Had a lovely stay at Whitewash. The cottage was well appointed, nicely furnished and cosy. It was a pleasure to come back to Whitewash in the late afternoon, after a day's beach activities, to enjoy the local wine and crackers left by Claudia. A great spot and very convenient for the rest of Huskisson.

We enjoyed our stay at White Wash Cottage, it was very clean & welcoming, the weather wasn’t very kind to us but that can’t be helped, the only thing we really would have appreciated would have been a clotheshoist, to dry wet towels & small things. The only other problem was, my Husband had to clean BBQ, before we would use it. We found Claudia very pleasent, & had left us wine, biscuits & dip for our arrival. Thank your Denese

Whitewash Cottage is quite a find. The decor is charming, beds very comfortable with beautiful bed linen provided. The kitchen is set up with all you need and basic provisions along with a welcome bottle of wine, crackers and dip is extremely generous. The location is perfect, whilst being set in a peaceful, private location is within walking distance of the beach and shops of Huskisson. Great for that morning coffee. To top it all off the owners are a pleasure to deal with. Your privacy is assured. Highly recommended.

My husband and I stayed beginning of January and absolutely loved this cottage. It was spacious and comfort and beautifully decorated inside. We were in walking distance to Husky shopping centre and beaches and a kept fit by walking to Vincentia. Found a gorgeous beach called Orion Beach at Vincentia. We will definitely be back next year for our holidays.

We stayed here for 3 days and it was perfect! Fresh look and in a great location, only about 10 minutes walk to the centre of town. Have stayed in a few places in Huskisson and will definitely stay here again. The only thing it needs is a iPod dock, however the cd collection is classic!

As said previously it's a great place for 2 couples. Only minor gripe would be that there was no milk - loved the wine and dip but after a long drive a cuppa was in order. Just some of those small milk portions that can be bought from places like Officeworks.

We thought the photos looked appealing, beautifully decorated. The cottage was incredibly clean and had many thoughtful inclusions including a bottle of wine. Well positioned with a 2 minute drive to Huskisson village and pub or a 10 minute easy stroll.
