Incredibly pretty and relaxing spot right on the beach. It is a very charming period property which for me makes it all the more special. Directions should include that you turn in by the camping field as it was hard to find!

A fantastically well appointed house right on 2 beaches and the coastal footpath. Beg Meil and Cap Coz are within easy walking distance with great bars and restaurants. Our party was varied in age from 21 to 62 - everyone loved it.

We loved everything about the location of this property. We are 6 friends who go away each year for a week. We kayak and swim and the property was perfect for this. Although we stayed in October the first half of the week was glorious, the second half was not so good and this showed up a couple of things that could be improved. We struggled to dry towels and clothes as no heated rails. 6 people sharing one shower and one bath was difficult at times, when we had all been kayaking and needed a hot shower to warm up after we had to wait in turns. The shower head over the bath didn’t have a hook you had to hold it which wasn’t the easiest.
The outdoor shower was useful but difficult to keep feet clean between the shower and the house as you had to walk across the garden.
This property is great in the warmer weather for outdoor living. It would be problematic in a wet week if there was 6-8 of you trying to be inside. Would definitely come back in the summer.

This was a very nice stay in a very nice house directly at the beach.

A beautiful home next to the sea. Our family of four had a wonderful week-long stay at this home and will definitely ask to stay again. The host was kind and easy to communicate with. The historic home was perfect for our family.

This handsome and beautifully situated home offered comfortable accommodations, a well-equipped (although simple) kitchen, and private grounds on the edge of the bay, with beautiful views. The property is fenced along the periphery, with lockable gates to access the beach that wraps around the waterside.
We enjoyed a few meals of local seafood - notably oysters - at home during our stay and were tempted to skip local sightseeing to just enjoy the pleasures of being at the house.

Maison de bains is a wonderful historical house by the sea with direct access to the beach and a garden with a nice terrace. We had enough space with six adults and a baby. The surroundings are also very nice for a holiday.

We have just returned from a magical week at Maison les Bains, with our daughter and partner and grand-daughter.
The location is perfect. The house stands alone, with sandy coves on either side, accessed through the garden gates.
It was a privilege to open the shutters every morning to the sunrise, with the waves on the empty beaches. The sound of the sea is ever present - balm for the soul.
The house itself is dated in places, quite compact downstairs, but perfectly adequate, functional and cosy. ( It is worth noting for UK visitors that if you choose to take your own sheets the bedding provided is an ample supply of blankets and French-style pillows). There was a constant supply of hot water at good pressure and a selection of family board games.
If you're after a holiday lounging around on squashy sofas, watching the television, or need a speedy WiFi connection.....this isn't the place for you. However, it was definitely the place for us, a holiday to treasure. We'll be back!! Thank you Maison les Bains.

The owners were lovely to deal with. The setting is unbelievably beautiful, fronted by two spectacular beach coves and surrounded by woods and a meadow, with great coastal walking paths. The house is charming and historic - not fancy - a true beach house, but with a well equipped kitchen (a bit dated, but totally functional). The place is comfortable and homey. There is a simple toilet off the kitchen, but beautiful spiral stairs up to the bathroom, WC and bedrooms. Additional stairs up to a shower room and two twin bedded rooms at the top of the house. Amazing views from every room and nice seating area out front on the lawn. Good washing machine with clothes lines and drying rack. Small TV in one of the bedrooms, but really, if you come here to watch TV then don’t stay here. The area has lots to offer in the way of activities, sightseeing and food and drink. We had a most wonderful and momorable stay.

If it breaks your heart when you delete the address of Bot Conan on your smartphone navigation app, you will know what it means to be no longer a guest in the “Maison de Bains” anymore.
Six friends. One week. Bot Conan.

Three generations of our family stayed at Bot-Conan in August and we all had a blissful week. The location was just idyllic and exceeded all expectations. Being right on the beach, and having such a big garden (but still private), meant the boys (all teenagers) could simply take themselves off swimming etc whenever they wanted to, which made for an extremely relaxing holiday. The beach didn't tend to be overly busy, and there's a pleasant coastal walk we did several times from the house. Plenty of small towns and markets to visit, all within an easy drive, and the Fousenant area itself was quiet, not touristy. Waking upto the sound of the sea every day was a real treat!
