Family owned/charming home in Oak Bluffs, 1/2 mile walk to East Chop Lighthouse and slightly more to the town harbor, which connects to ferry terminals for Island Queen, Vineyard Fast Ferry, Seastreak, Hy-Line and Steamship Authority (Oak Bluffs terminal). Three bedrooms total with one king bed, one queen bed and two singles (bunk beds). One and a half bathrooms indoors plus an outdoor shower. Mini split provides air conditioning/heat throughout the house. Washer/dryer room for your convenience. Private parking for up to (2) vehicles. Relax on the deck or in the sun room with very quiet yard in peaceful wooded area. Wifi internet to work remotely on vacation or stream shows and movies. Smart TV, watch your Netflix, Hulu, Prime, etc. No traditional cable TV.

Everything about this property wuz awesome. This has nothing to do w/ the property, but the walk to Oak Bluffs waterfront wuz a little hairy w/ no sidewalks, especially in the dark. We only walked once & then opted for quick $20 Uber rides which were e-z to get. Awesome vacation.

Lovely little cottage perfect for our stay on the Vineyard with all the essentials and a nice sunroom. We especially loved the outdoor shower just off the downstairs bedroom.

3 nights over Mother's Day weekend with two couples. Comfortable, quiet, easy access to Oak Bluffs, Vineyard Haven, and a good home base for exploring the rest of the island. Also good to just hang out at the house. Beach chairs and bikes were handy, as was the laundry. We would stay here again for sure.

When we checked-in, we immediately noticed the property had not been cleaned from prior guests. I reached out to the host 5 min after we arrived and someone was there to clean within the hour. After the property was cleaned, it was WAY better, but there were spiders and crickets present in the house during our stay.

Wonderful house in a beautiful setting. Photos do it no justice. Location is very convenient to “downtown” and the waterfront. Bedrooms were large and so comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped and there is lots of room, indoors and out, to gather. We were there for a one-time visit, attending a wedding. Would have loved to stay longer ! Too bad it’s too far for a routine trip. Don’t miss the outdoor shower. Thanks for creating such a lovely spot !

Had a wonderful stay at East Chop. Location was close enough to Oak Bluffs to be convenient yet far enough to be quiet. Kitchen is well stocked with equipment and the beach chairs and cart were super helpful for a day at the beach.

The cottage is surrounded by trees and is very peaceful. We walked to the Martha’s Vineyard transit stop without any trouble. We got an Uber on the way back since it was after sunset. The porch was a relaxing start to the day watching squirrels play. Everything at the property worked and was as advertised!

This Vrbo was great! Pictures don’t do it justice. Spacious. Perfect size for our group of 6. Everything you could need and so close to oaks bluff (walking distance - about 15 min walk) and also close to vineyard haven. The beach towels and chairs in the shed were an added bonus! Would definitely come back and stay again.

The cottage was exactly as pictured. The location was perfect, just a very short ride to restaurants, shops, and beaches, which could very easily be done on bikes. You couldn't ask for a better spot. The back room with the slider and deck was our favorite spot to enjoy coffee in the morning and to sit up and chat at night. 9am check out time was a bit tricky for 6 adults, but we made it work, thanks in part to the outdoor shower. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again.

This 3 bedroom 1.5 bath fit 6 of us perfectly. Had a fully stocked kitchen when we wanted to cook and was a short mile from the center of town. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and kind to us in our last minute travel hiccups. Would definitely stay again

Spent 5 nights here for a family/ destress get away. Peter was an excellent host flexible with booking etc due to ferry schedules prompt responses and assistance. The cottage is even better then the pictures and des riptin. Sun room and new deck were perfect. Surrounded on all sides by woods but quick Walk or drive to Oak Bluffs and Vineyard Haven. This place was great, and we would definitely stay again. Our two kids had a great time. The sunroom was perfect. The beds are comfortable, and the outdoor shower is one of the best we've used at a rental property in MV. We did have to clean-up a bit when we first arrived. We vacuumed the rugs downstairs, swept the sand from the mudroom, emptied some of the trash barrels, and put away the drying dishes. All and all, not a big deal, but a bit unfortunate that we had to pay a $180 cleaning fee. I'm not sure what that was covering. Regardless, we had a great time. The owners clearly want their renters to feel at home.

Booked a quick get away with the family. Location is excellent! Quiet area and quick 5 minute drive to Oak Bluffs and beaches. We brought toilet paper, paper towels and cleaning supplies, but the cottage was fully stocked with them, which was nice! The kids loved the swing in the back. Owners were very responsive and allowed us to check in a little bit early and check out later. Thank you!

This place had everything we needed for a perfect mini vacation. The kitchen is well supplied for cooking a home cooked meal. I really loved the sun room area to hang out in the evenings. We really enjoyed our stay here and would come back without hesitation.

The house was perfect for the three of us, and the location was great too! Clean, comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen and grill. Walking distance to Oak Bluffs, and biking distance to Vineyard Haven and Edgartown. We had a car too, which allowed a visit to Menemsha for chowder, a beach day, and great shopping trips. We would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was close enough to "town" to be walkable but far enough away from the hustle and bustle to feel remote. It was so quiet! We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the mornings and evenings. The bed was comfortable too, and my husband is really picky about that. We did not cook, but the kitchen was well equipped for it. Overall it was clean, comfortable, as described. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was great! Beds were very comfortable. Close to Circuit Ave for shopping and close to the beach. The WiFi went in and out and we could not get the downstairs tv to work. We enjoyed our stay!
