About this house rental

Bushby House is a recently refurbished Country Cottage style home located adjacent to the town centre which boast bars and restaurants and is a 5 minute walk to the beach. It's within easy driving distance of the South Downs, Chichester and Brighton (25mins) making it a great choice for families and groups alike. Come and enjoy the wonderful county of West Sussex with it's dog walks, cycle routes, vineyards and more.

Improvements to Bushby House were completed in 2018 when it was extended to include a Kitchen Diner and a Master Suite whilst the rest of the house was refurbished and updated. The new stylish open plan Kitchen has a breakfast bar, seating for 8 and bi-fold doors that open out onto the patio. The Lounge is comfortable and welcoming with two four seater sofas and a 55" TV with Sky; it too has bi-fold doors opening onto the patio. If you are visiting during the winter there is a working open fire. There is a separate Playroom with L-Shaped sofa and 43" TV and DVD player, with a selection of DVDs and games. Upstairs there are four luxurious bedrooms including a Master with a king-sized bed and en-suite, two further double bedrooms, one twin room and a family bathroom. All rooms have wardrobes, drawers and bedside tables.
Outside there are extensive grounds with garage, parking for three cars to the front along with mature planting. To the rear there is a newly landscaped garden with grassed area, outdoor seating and west facing patio for those all important BBQs. The rear garden is secure and is an area where children can safely play. Pets are allowed but we would ask that you check with us about the House Rules. Bikes can be stored securely in the garage.
Bushby House is welcoming and homely and yet provides all the modern conveniences you would expect the kitchen is well equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, microwave and coffee machine. There is a separate Utility Room with a washing machine and dryer. All linen and towels are provided.

We’ve recently stayed at the property for a 5 night break. It’s a wonderful house, really comfortable and well equipped in a very convenient location for local shops, restaurants and the beach. The garden is both private and again well equipped. Communication with the owner was first class , check in/out very simple and full detailed guidance on appliances, the locality and the like readily to hand. We’d have no hesitation in recommending the property.

We stayed as 5 adults and 2 small children - and there was loads of room with 4 big bedrooms, a large kitchen/diner, a large lounge and even another smaller games room with TV. Garden had two sets of furniture so plenty of space there as well. All of the furnishings were well thought through and good quality (eg Bramblecrest in the garden). Location was great - 2mins from Waitrose and 7 mins from the beach. Pleasant walks east (to East Preston) or west (to Littlehampton) along the sea front. Overall, we had a superb time at Bushby House and would thoroughly recommend it

We stayed at the house for 32nights. So, what did we think ? The good feelings start the moment you enter the private estate and drive into the ample parking area.The area and house look lovely. The house is a bit of a tardis as it is massive inside. It is very nicely furnished and has everything you could want, including a warm open fire for the chilly evenings. There are also lovely gardens and patio seating for relaxing in the summer. So , too sum up , this is a wonderful property with lovely hosts and in a great area and are already looking forward to our next stay.

Bushby House is the perfect family rental. Lots of space, options for seating areas, quiet spots, community spaces. Easy to run. Great for hosting family and local friends. Huge safe and secure garden. Great kitchen. Comfortable bedrooms with good storage. Walking distance to beach, cafes, shops. We had an excellent holiday!

Bushby House was an amazing find! We stayed as 3 couples and one dog and all had loads of room to relax and enjoy the house! No shortage of anything, from seating to cutlery. When we did go out the beach was fab and dog friendly, the shops were super close and the neighbourhood was gorgeous! The house is decorated and furnished to an impeccable standard - everything felt luxurious. As the organiser of a group holiday, I was anxious that everyone enjoy themselves. No one had a single complaint all week!! We would absolutely recommend and will hopefully come back again!

We had a lovely holiday at Bushby House. The house is beautifully comfortable and spacious with everything you could need and more. It is so peaceful despite its close proximity to the town of Rustington. The beach is a 10 minute stroll away. Rustington has everything you could possibly need including some lovely independent shops and restaurants. We would thoroughly recommend the house and area. Thank you for everything

We enjoyed everything here. Proximity to beach - a few minutes walk, a wide array of shops within minutes, Lots of lovely places to visit, the lack of crowds or commercialism. The house was so well equipped, we cook a lot and we had everything we wanted. The bedrooms were all similar in size and so comfortable. The carpets were sumptuous, the showers lovely. We enjoyed the beautiful garden the huge bifold doors the relaxing lounge, the social aspect of the kitchen/dining room. We felt it was bigger in reality than the photos portrayed. Parking was ample. All very very good indeed.

Bushby House is fabulous - very spacious, very well equipped in the kitchen, beautifully presented. An easy house to run, and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Already rebooked as such a great space. Lovely outside table and chairs and garden furniture in the HUGE garden! Great access to shops/beach/walks. Wonderful summer!

Could not fault this property. It was very clean, extremely well equipped and was in a perfect location, short walk to the beach, shops, restaurants etc. We will definitely be back.
