Spacious apartment in an excellent location - just a few minutes walking and you were in the heart of Galway. Included parking spot was so helpful to have as well. Highly recommend!

Although the location was amazing, that’s all that went right with this property. Our arrival was late in the evening so we wanted to go to bed right away. The king bed collapsed beneath upon just sitting on it. I reported to the manager immediately and after 16hrs, and a sleepless night, there was still no reply. I sent an urgent message and finally got a response. Also the hot water did not work in the main bathroom so three of us had to share the tiny en suite. The bed did get fixed but the shower never ended up working.
The communication from the management was full of apologies but no reasonable solution.
The price was already steep, we felt, and now we are upset about having booked it all.

Great location, both close to the city center but far enough away to be quiet. Accommodations were clean , kitchen adequately stocked,a nice view of the harbor and the most comfortable beds we have had on our trip. Galway is
great town And close to other places to see. In

We stayed in this apartment for three nights and everything was wonderful. It’s a nice, quiet part of the city located very close to the Latin Quarter. The beds were comfortable and we were grateful for the washer/dryer. Would definitely stay here again!

Four people, three nights. Before leaving the US I requested checkin information because I anticipated communication problems given cell phone differences. Two attempts and all I was told was we would receive that info on the day of our arrival. Cell phone with new SIM wouldn't work on the day of arrival after traveling all night. Frustrating. Finally begged a laptop from a local pub and got our checkin info...very late.
Apartment was clean. Parking is a l o n g way from the apartment. After being up and traveling for over 30 hours a shower was in order. The main bath shower drain was clogged and flooded the bathroom. Called host, "Jown" who said she would call after hours plumber and replace the soaked towels. Next day another flood so called host again. Also, a roiving band of noisy, drunken teenagers hanging around the apartment. One threw a vodka bottle against the front door. I cleaned up the broken glass. Reported same to Jown who, wanting to accommodate us, said she would process a refund for our stay. That was a month ago, no refund, and repeated emails with Vrbo only advise they are working on "rectifying the situation." This means what?
Thus, I do not recommend this property or VRBO.

The property was very clean, in a great location (very convenient to everything in the city and with a lovely view of the water). It was exactly as advertised. The kitchen cabinets were mostly empty (only the barest essentials provided). We did have a problem getting into the property because the instructions were sent to us while we were travelling to Galway with no access to the Internet or WiFi. Wish we had got them the previous day or even earlier. The second night we were there, a very large and noisy party was going on across the water, which made sleeping very difficult. Also the battery in the smoke alarm needed to be changed, so it beeped all night long. Because another party was obviously going to take place on the third night we were booked for (we could see the people gathering by mid-afternoon), we left the apartment early and returned to Dublin. All I’ve written here sounds like a lot of complaints, but really the noisy party wasn’t the owner’s fault, and smoke alarms do tend to demand new batteries at the most inconvenient times. Sinead took care of the battery situation as soon as we called her in the morning, but there was nothing she could do about the impending party.

Nothing fancy - but, clean & well-appointed - and in the perfect location (our priority) to explore the city & the shore - thank you!

The apartment was lovely with an amazing view of Galway Bay. The downside was that teenagers congrate outside in the evening, playing load music and leaving a lot of rubbish and broken glass.

Lovely Galway Stay
We really enjoyed our stay in Galway. The place is in an amazing location right at the end of the long walk and very close to the Latin quarter. The beds were comfortable the and spot is very cute inside. The only issues we had with the property was that the front door was very hard to lock. You had to line up the door perfectly in order for it to lock and it sometimes took us awhile to get closed. It also was a bit of a pain to have to take our own garbage to a different building. We were leaving extremely early for a flight and the door to the garbage area was locked and the code they gave us didn’t work. If we’ve ever had to dispose of our own garbage before at a self catering unit the place to leave it was either just outside or we just left the garbage in the bins in the place for a cleaner. It might be a good idea in future to not have your guests take their garbage to another building. Otherwise we did really enjoy our stay and for the location alone we would consider it again.

Good property but issue with bathroom
The property was well located and comfortable however we were unable to use the main shower and sink as it flooded due to a blockage. Initially the property management responded swiftly to our messages but when we asked for compensation, silence. Still waiting to date for news since 31 may. Chased but have not responded.

Good location to explore Galway and the surrounding area
The booking via Fewo-direkt was uncomplicated as always. The subsequent communication with the owner or the agency was difficult. My emails were not answered at all or only partially. I did not receive the check-in information at all and we stood in front of the flat on the day of arrival and could not reach anyone at the telephone numbers provided. Thank God Jown contacted me via Whatsapp and we got all the necessary information. I don't understand why the emails from the agency didn't reach me. The last email contact regarding the payment information in mid-April still worked...
The flat is very spacious and looks like in the pictures, maybe not so new....
We did not dare to sleep at night with the windows open, it is very noisy and in the neighbourhood young people meet to hang out....
For us, the locked parking space was very important and the central location. It's a quick walk to the centre of Galway and there are lots of great restaurants and pubs. The flat is also a good location for exploring the area.

On the Dock
Not enough hot water for five people. Could use more towels. Not enough toilet paper or paper towels or Kleenex provided. Hot water was not sufficient for five people especially in the evening or at night! The boost on the hot water feature doesn’t seem to work. Dryer does not dry clothes all the way. Always left damp. I guess that’s the way it is in Ireland. Nice place for runners/walkers because close to the Prom. Location good for shops and pubs.

Perfect location
Perfect location with a beautiful view! Our family of 5 fit comfortably in this home. Home is up to date and clean. The hall bath was a treat with a large shower! The first night We did have an issue with a large group of kids drinking right out front, throwing bottles & urinating. The Garda showed up and the kids dispersed and did not return. So other than that it was a perfect stay in walking distance to everything!

Nice Property, Ideal Location
Nice property. Modern, well decorated and clean. The master bath needs updating. Owners were quick to answer a text concerning two bathroom issues. The property is very nicely decorated and the beds were very comfortable.
We had to ask a few teenagers to please go elsewhere... they were hanging around under our window...they complied. The view of Galway Bay from the LR is beautiful.
Only issue is that the company were not very quick in answering my texts regarding getting into the condo. We were staying in Dublin beforehand and were leaving the U.S. 6 days before our trip to Galway. We needed to get the info before we left the U.S. I ended up calling VRBO and they took care of the issue.
Great location and very nice!
