Home was in excellent location near the tiny village of Mandrakia on the island of Milos. There were amazing ocean views and an excellent restaurant very close by. The home was very clean, well maintained and had excellent wifi. The host as gracious and responsive to any questions we had. This home is highly recommended.

My family (51, 51, 23, 18) shared this little home for a week. The home was perfect.
The house is situated above a small rocky beach that we visited and swam in every day. There is a larger sand beach that is a very close walk also.
The home is near everything we wanted to do. It was a short drive from the ferry and very close to Plaka, where we ate most of our evening meals. There is a grocery store a short drive from the home also.
A few evenings, we ordered drinks from Medusa and carried them across the street to watch the sun set over the hills beyond the waterfront boat storage/houses in Mandrakia. All of this was a 1-2 minute walk from the house.
The adult kids slept on the couches/small beds in the living room. My husband and I shared the large bed in the bedroom.
It was an amazing small home for our relaxing week on Milos.

Really enjoyed our 17 day stay. The location is handy to all parts of the island, although you need to have your own transport. The cottage was extremely well set up for the 2 of us and Christine was an extremely generous host.

Mandrakia and this house were both amazing!! Would return in a heart beat!!
This is such a sweet sea-side cottage in a beautiful quiet fishing village. Although the house is not large, it has everything we needed including a local cat who adopted us for the week. Christine met us at the port to guide us to the house, even though our ferry was over an hour late. If you plan on eating at the local restaurant, make sure you go early and get your name on the waiting list, it is VERY popular!

BEST HOLIDAY WE HAD!
Super host Christine made our stay most enjoyable! Always smiled and answered all our requests, plus more! Great location. Top local neighbour “Captain Kostas”, gave us an additional glimpse of Greek philoxenia ! Top local
restaurant 100 steps away !
Magical views, quiet, within reach to great beaches. Nearby amenities are most impressive AB Supermarket, Mouratos Bakery. Plaka was an amazing discovery for us! We didn’t expect it to be that .....words can’t describe it!!, nor ... YouTube! Our stay at
Mandrakia gave us more than we expected. THANK YOU Christine

Wonderful host, house and location
The house was exactly as lovely as it looks on the listing. Enjoyed listening to the waves lapping on the shore behind the house at night,
and walking down to the local restaurant Medusa at sunset where the food and atmosphere was terrific. Christine was a lovely host- and went out of her way to make our stay perfect. Location is also brilliant for exploring the island by car.

A gem of a cottage, equipped to a high standard.
This is a gem of a cottage in a beautiful, secluded bay. A dozen white-washed, blue-shuttered houses are scattered around the bay. It is close to all the places one would want to visit, and has wonderful views over the sea on one side and the hillside on the other.
Christeena has put her own love for home-making into decorating and equipping this home from home. The house is fresh and full of light, with white walls and rafters and warm yellow accessories. The floors are tastefully tiled. Everything is of a high standard and there has been great attention to detail.
It has everything one might need. The king-sized bed is very comfortable, with a choice of comfortable pillows. The kitchen is well-equipped, with coffee-maker, kettle and full sets of utensils, saucepans etc. We found coffee and tea, herbs, and fresh food in the fridge. It was Easter and our hosts had left a bottle of wine on the table and a tasty traditional Greek Easter cake as gifts. The bathroom is very well-equipped. Wall heater and a/c were more than adequate in early April. The wi-fi works perfectly.
Our host Christeena was most welcoming and met us at the airport and helped us arrange car hire. In all, a perfect home from which we thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the beautiful island of Milos.

beautifully equipped house in a gorgeous quiet village with beaches, walks, and great taverna
We were looking for somewhere beautiful, quiet with lots of snorkelling on the doorstep for our 11 year old son and Mandrakia is a perfect location. There are absolutely beautiful views of village and coast from the generous terrace, and four different options for swimming - with some great snorkelling, if you don't mind a few waves, in a lovely little cove right by the house where we usually the only bathers. There are great walks along the coastline with stunning rock formations to explore, and hardly any other visitors. Medusa - almost next door - is one of the best tavernas on Milos with delicious food, unbeatable location and lovely friendly service. And it's easy to get to all other parts of the island from there.
Christine was a wonderful host, and couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. The house was immaculate and she had stocked it with all kinds of goodies so we didn't have to do much shopping. Sharp knives, lovely toiletries, an endless supply of towels, wifi that works and Christine even provided shoes to wear while swimming! We especially loved hanging out on the terrace, watching the stars and washing off the sand in the outside shower.
The house is simple, bright and fresh, and perfect for a couple or small family - but it's the location and Christine's attention to all the little details that make it such a stand out for a wonderful holiday on a fabulous island.
