Quaint and spacious apartments close to the centre of the town

We stayed in a very spacious attic apartment in this old building (adjoining the pub, with large wooden beams overhead. It was very comfortable and delightful. Breakfast was left to be eaten in the room or on the adjacent patio, The breakfast was substantial and varied. We were very satisfied with it. If you are over 6'4" you may have a problem with headroom in this room.

Gem

Everything was great ...... the space was interesting, comfortable, warm and inviting. The man who checked us in was charming. The takeaway breakfast was magnificent.

It added to the experience for us so it wasn't a negative however if you have limited mobility the steep stairs will be a challenge. The building is four hundred years old and the stairs add to ots charm.

History building on top of a nice bar close to the center.

And old nice building on top of the bar, owned by the same person. The bar closes at 8, so it's not a problem at all. Spacious room, nice old furniture. Very close to the center. Nice price!

In a very old building like this you can expect steep stairs and bad soundproofing.

Quirky room above a great cafe

Quirky room above a cafe in a 400 year old building. Room was great, and the cafe was great as well, offering 100 different beers. No noise from the cafe. Room was perfect accomodation for us.

Spacious room with all the amenities you would need, very kind and helpful host! A fantastic breakfast spread was ready for the morning, and all the coffee and tea you can drink. Location is perfect too, very close to the center of town but on a quieter side street. I'll be staying here again for sure!

Very good

Breakfast was outside in and on top of the fridge. At my disposal when I wanted it. Practical! Location is superb, smack in the city centre. And not far from the station.

There were only 2 options for the heating: full power on or off.

Old fashioned stay close to city center

The host is very nice, I could arrive a bit later and he was okay with that, the breakfast was very nice and diverse and a lot of food, oh Facilities work well, the hotel room was very clean and well prepared for the guest

The only thing which really disturb me, I am a non-smoker, and the room smells after cigarettes, there has been smoked inside definitely, and that smell is all over the room, for someone who is not smoking it is really not pleasant

Very nice and cosy place to stay

The owner is very friendly. The rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast is excellent: different types of bread , fruit, yogurt, ... It was very nice to relax and have breakfast outside on the terrace.

A little boy noisy as the rooms are on the street side but although I am ‘ a light sleeper’ I managed to have a good night sleep.
