Good value for money Close to the main square We could get our breakfast earlier so we were on time for our bus to Cusco

Wifi didn't work in the room, but in the little living room next to our room it did, so that wasn't a very big issue this way

Exceptional

Room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Heater available though not needed. Staff very helpful and early breakfast at 6am. Couldn't fault the hotel.

Helpfull staff, but too expensive for what it is

Staff was helpful and there are some common areas with daylight. We appreciated the heaters in the room.

Hot water was a hit-or-miss, we were only able to have hot showers 1 out of 3 mornings. Similarly the internet connection came and went, but was never very good. The rooms had very little daylight. Overall we have had better value for money elsewhere.

Dont expect any luxury room, but for staying one night for this very low price this was fine.

The location is great, only a 7-min walk to the plaza. Rooms are clean.

The bedsheets require an upgrade.

Screaming, running, door-slamming guests all night. Clearly a lack of control of their guests. Unfortunate...

Awesome staff, great room ! They also sell convenience items for extremely reasonable price

Not only the room was comfortable and inexpensive, but the gentleman at front desk was very caring and helpful. Prior evening I asked him if there were any stores near by that sold fruits. He said they would be closed at that hour. Next day morning, the breakfast was supposed to start at 6:30 and I had a tour that was to pick me up at 6:30. So I was going to skip the breakfast. But he prepared a fruit plate for me and knocked my door at 6:15 for breakfast.

This is a nice hostel and good value for money. Rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. It is not far form the center of Chivay. Portable heaters are available in the rooms and you will need them in the winter. We stayed here just one night and visited the Colca canon the next day. It is possible to get an early breakfast (6 in the morning or earlier).

Exceptional

Clean, lovely, quiet place with warm showers. Breakfast is good and owners are kind and helpful. Electric heaters to plug in. It gets really cold during the night, so definitely bring warm clothes also to sleep. I'd recommend to choose this hostel.

A colourful stay in a welcoming environment

rooms were decorated in Andean style, very colourful and welcoming. everything was very clean and they also provided a small heater if required. the staff was very kind and always ready to help. Good position, just a 10 minute walk from the main square.

Our room didn’t have a window onto the outside which was a shame, but no big deal and it never felt stuffy

They prepared breakfast already at 5.30 am, because we had to start with our guided tour. Staff is friendly, but communication English was sometimes a little bit difficult.

Electricity was gone for certain minutes, it’s very cold (but also because of the season), paying by card means extra fee, so cash might be better.

Nice, friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Their garage was full but they found another secure place to park our motorcycles. And they let us keep our bikes there while we did a hike the next day.

Excellent price/quality

Well priced and the accommodation has everything you need. Bed is comfortable, towels are provided, room is clean, there is hot water and if you need anything additional you can buy it at reception (e.g. shampoo, deodorant). There was even an electrical heater in the room. Moreover Chivay is a small town so it was only a five minute walk to the main square.

Good place for a stop over

Nice decorations. Very helpful staff, they organized a mountain bike for me, so I could visit the nearby villages.

Recommended, great place to stay!

Really nice hostal, very cheap and clean. The personall was very friendly and helpful. They were flexible with payment as the credit card reader didnt work at first. The breakfast was fantastic and included in the low price

The most comfortable room in Peru, one of the most beautiful area of the world

The room was super cosy, all accessories new and of the best quality.

The Wifi was slow and erratic but there is only one provider in the area, so the hostel management cannot do anything
