Clean, comfortable, had everything we needed. Listing is accurate. Thank you!

Daniel was so accessible and gave us all sorts of information about the home. It’s just beautiful and fit our family of six perfectly. I wish it had been within walking distance of restaurants and the beach but know that it would have been so much more expensive, and there’s plenty of parking and so much close by. The lemon trees, the lime trees, the flowers, the fire pit – all made for such a beautiful inviting backyard. We would definitely stay here again and hope to return before too long.

We loved staying here. It was a short drive to Venice beach and the house itself was clean and roomy and felt very homey. There is a Vons supermarket 5 minutes away and the area itself is quiet and pretty.
We enjoyed the boogie boards as well and had a great day in the sea because of them
Comfortable and big rooms. So 100% marks from us

We are frequent visitors to and former residents of Los Angeles for many years. This property was absolutely wonderful. Daniel, the host is super helpful and kind. We had everything we needed! Comfortable beds, ceiling fans in every room, plenty of linens, a stocked kitchen, bathroom and laundry room. Super-fast Wi-Fi and many areas that were useful for working both inside and outside. There were plenty of places to sit, and they were actually comfortable, which can be rare! The backyard is fantastic. A very private, large backyard is a rare find in LA and we enjoyed spending time out there, with many areas to lounge. Two parking spots in the driveway area available and it is gated. We felt very safe, and the neighborhood is quiet and lovely. The house is on a street that isn't a throughfare, so it is very low traffic and cars through the area. And the location is super central to the beach, shops, Culver and Century City, etc. I will be back! I highly recommend this hidden Venice gem.

We stayed for my son’s graduation from LMU. Check in was a breeze, the neighborhood is really cute and it was close to everything we needed. The house is very well appointed, there was nothing that we felt we needed. Beds were comfy and bathrooms clean and tidy. The backyard space is welcoming and we enjoyed sitting outside soaking up some sun. Daniel is a gracious host and we will definitely come back.

The house is amazing -- super-clean & comfortable with modern touches throughout and every detail covered for your daily needs (laundry, dishwasher, cooking utensils, etc).
The house is in excellent condition (exactly as pictured) in a great neighborhood that's nicely walkable and easily accessible to the broader L.A. area by car.
We especially enjoyed all the different outdoor living spaces -- including multiple outdoor seating areas in a nicely enclosed yard. And, as a remote worker, I found the wifi / internet to be 100% fast and reliable.
5-star experience from check-in to check-out. Highly recommend!!!

This was a great property. I stayed here with my parents and my kids, and it was perfect for us. The primary bedroom/bathroom is super nice, the common area/living space was great, the kitchen was clean and well stocked, no complaints! We had to reach out to the property manager with some questions and she was so helpful and kind. We had a really nice visit and would definitely stay again!

Fantastic Home and Location
We took a spur of the moment trip to LA for a week and booked this place. There are several places to relax, both indoors and outdoors. There was no need to contact the property owner because all the instructions were simple and convenient. It is beach-minded with laundry, outdoor rinse and towels. The kitchen is well stocked with staples, and everything was clean and maintained.
Loved it, and would return in the future!

Great place
We used this property as a central location for our family to meet up and then go on to do some tourist-y things. It was a great location for what we needed. Also loved the firepit since no one had to be in charge of adding more logs.

I rented this terrific mid-century bungalow for two weeks while working out of Culver City. It was an excellent experience. Very clean and bright with lots of windows. Small and very nice private back yard as well. Daniel was very helpful and always responsive. Highly recommend!

Amazing spot! Convenient with great amenities and best backyard.
Our family had a wonderful stay at Daniel's home. The house is very clean and nicely decorated and has the most comfortable beds! It's stocked with good amenities and also nicely set-up for traveling families. The backyard is secluded and truly lovely! The area is walkable and close to a lot. Daniel is communicative and provides detailed information about the house and surroundings. We will return another time!

Nice Place But Needs Some Attention
I rented this house because it’s listed as 3 bedrooms and has a nice-looking yard. We (2 adults, a 5 year old and a crawling 11-month old) were looking forward to the space and being near our family in Santa Monica.
The location is great and the yard is pleasant. Check in was easy. Plenty of soap, shampoo, towels, dishes, laundry machines. The master shower has amazing water pressure and is roomy and relaxing.
A few things that could use some work:
1. One of the bedrooms had a very musty smell. We didn’t even use it. Instead, we put the baby’s pack and play in the large closet in the master bedroom. So we got use of two bedrooms and a closet for the price of a three bedroom house.
2. The place is advertised as “very clean.” Because we have a crawling baby, and because of Covid, we are pretty sensitive to cleanliness. I didn’t feel comfortable having the baby on the floors until after I had mopped/swiffered/Clorox-wiped them. I used about a dozen Clorox wipes on the living room floor…the first few were definitely coming out gray and dirty. There was also quite a bit of sand/dust under the sofa and furniture. So, cleanliness could be better.
3. The place was probably renovated about 10 years ago and I’m not sure about the upkeep that has been done. For example, the floorboards have cracks. And, there was a spacer missing between the wood planks in the living room and the tile in the kitchen, exposing a row of nails. We notified the owner of this issue as soon as we checked in on Thursday (because of the safety hazard for our crawling baby) and it took him more than 48 hours to respond. He finally got back to us late Saturday evening saying that it would be a “tough fix” and his handyman wouldn’t be able to take care of it until after we checked out on Monday. We made-do by lying a towel over the crack/nails. Not impressed given what we were paying.
4. There’s some sort of water moisture issue around the showers - the paint is bubbling and peeling. Not sure how long it’s been going on for, but given the extent of the damage, it’s not a new issue.
Overall, house is well located and nicely outfitted, but suffering from wear and tear and needs better maintenance. Hopefully, the issues we raised with the host/owner will be resolved. And hopefully, he will be more prompt in responding to issues, particularly safety issues, for future guests.

Adorable bungalow
We enjoyed staying in this adorable bungalow when we came for a family member's graduation from UCLA. We had plenty of room for two couples and one child, plus we were able to have additional family members over for a celebration brunch. The location makes it easy to get to UCLA, Westwood, Venice, Santa Monica, and lots of other places. The driveway is a little narrow for two large SUVs, so we parked one of them on the street, and sometimes it took a couple times around the block to find a spot. Other than that, it was a great stay.

A Family Affair
I rented this beautiful house for my family so they could be
close by for my wedding. This was a coming together of families and friends that deserved the very best accommodations. Daniel's home fits that description and then some. Three generations found it a wonderful accommodation and we are all grateful.
