Very nice staff, good spacious clean rooms.
Nice atmosphere - take your drinks and just inform staff what you took- with a nice fire in the garden.
No wifi in the room

The theme of the Property; Traditional Masai designs.
Almost nothing apart from Thorns Due to existence of original plans around which you just need to be wary.

Wonderful staff, very calm and peaceful setting with beautiful rooms and gardens. Lovely attention to detail, nice welcome and very flexible chef happy to cater for off-menu requests. Good location not far from the airport for a day trip to Tarangire or Lake Manyara.
Unfortunately we had very rowdy guests next door! Lodge staff were apologetic and tried to address the issue and thankfully they weren't there the next day but soundproofing could be improved.

Great place to charge your batteries before or after a Safari. The place is kept very well and has beautiful private bungalows. The service is friendly and not overbearing and the food is very nice also.

A very warm welcome from Blandina, James and Kepora. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The mattress was firm and gave us a really good night’s sleep after a long road trip. The chef created some really tasty meals.

We had a wonderful one night stay before going on safari. The staff was very friendly and upon arrival offered to change our rooms from what we had booked to better suit our needs. The compound has a nice garden and an incredible variety of beautiful birds to watch from your balcony. The hotel is located a bit outside Arusha town, which provided a more relaxed and serene environment. The food was delicious and the beds were some of the most comfortable we've had in Tanzania. This is a unique hotel and truly worth a stay, we really enjoyed the hospitality, especially sitting by the bonfire and conversing with the staff about Tanzania and our country.
We had no complaints about our stay.

Clean & comfortable - the rooms were spacious with large beds and we loved the balconies with a stunning view over the garden and mountains. everything was very clean, there was soap, toothpaste and toothbrushes if needed in the bathroom too. In particular the staff were fantastic, so friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed chatting to 2 of the guys around the campfire after dinner and learning a little Swahili from them. Food was good, nothing too ambitious (or local), chicken sandwich for lunch and chicken/beef rolls for dinner - it was tasty and well presented, but we would have been very happy to try some local traditional foods if this had been an option.
There wasn’t much wrong, we really enjoyed our stay, and it seemed very fair for the price - we didn’t have the budget for anything super luxurious and this was absolutely perfect for what we were looking for.

Cozy spacious lodge not far from Arusha airport. Everything was perfect, room, food and service overall. Great attention to detail. In example upon arrival hot water kettle in the room was filled with water. So just a matter of switching "on" when wanting to make hot drinks.
Comfortable large bed and balcony.

The place is beautiful, stylish, well decorated, the stuff is really kind, good was tasty
They let us choose between the rooms when we arrived
The only thing that was missing to my opinion is mosquito net for the windows, there was a good one for the bed, but we couldn't open the windows
Oh and the doors were hard to open and close

Very beautiful place, romantic, with nice staff, good food and a spacious room for a good price. Definitely recommended if you want to relax before or after your safari's in between Arusha and the other parks.
There was a rooster that kept crowing during during the night, but that's just nature

We stayed here three nights altogether, pre and after a safari trip. We were the only guests and received a lot of attention. As has been noted, the Lodge is fairly new and is just building up again after Covid. The room we stayed in had a great view of the garden and Mt Meru in the distance - even a distant view of Kilimanjaro one evening. The gardens were a delight, clearly a labour of love of the owners, and we spent a lot of time bird-watching. The food was good, without being spectacular. However, the coffee was spectacular! The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the young man who waited on us and looked after our needs was very attentive and charming. Hedgehogs are pretty rare in Africa in my experience but they have one here!
Just one thing that we could and should have raised while we were there. The bathroom sink taps, rather oddly heavy industrial type, didn't work. We were shown a "trick" to get them going but they never worked for us. The wonderful sunsets on the balcony are accompanied by distant road noise but Tanzania is a busy country and it's hard to find quiet, except in the middle of the Serengeti, and even there the lions and hippos keep you awake.

Great stay with wonderful hosts and really excellent food. Blandina was very helpful in helping us do a day trip to Arusha National Park, and we really enjoyed interacting with all the staff.
Room was beautiful and well kept, and the property was very peaceful.
Thanks for the great stay!

the only issue we could find was finding it(although this is very common in Tanzania). Once inside it is a beautiful little oasis and the greeting was warm and welcoming. Large room, very comfortable bed, looks amazing (lodge and the facilities around!). Kettle with tea/coffee and water provided (not common) bathroom and shower with great hot water and pressure. In the evening we met more of the family and spent a lovely evening by the fire. Dinner was lovely and beautifully prepared. We had an early check out and they had no problem getting up at 5am to make sure we had coffee (french press and fresh milk) and breakfast. Highly recomend staying here. Lunch box also was better then in other places. We stayed in other lounges in Tanzania (more expensive ones!) and this one is still our favourite one. Amazing value for money.

If you want to stay in a calm, peaceful and relaxing place after your safari then this is the place for you. Hotel staff is very kind caring. During my 2 1/2 weeks stay in Tanzania, this hotel provided the best customer service. In the morning you would wake by listening to beautiful birds songs. You will have a clear view of mount Meru in back drop of the hotel. Garden is well maintained.
Owner of the Hotel Blandina was incredibly help for one of the charity work I did there. Mishek and Kepora was always around me showing birds and surroundings. Staff of this hotel did their best to provide me a better service. They have a restaurant too. This hotel not only visit by tourists but also by over 30 species of beautiful birds.
Garden of this hotel well maintained. I had the whole hotel to me during my stay as I was the only guest.
I so love this place hence I created this video of the hotel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8kPg6qVFRcg

Everything about this stay was just perfect. After budget camping accomodation on our safari trip we enjoyed this lovely place even more. The bedroom and bathroom are beautifully arranged and the balcony has a wonderful view of the garden and Mt Meru. We were warmly welcomed and treated as if we were special guests. The food was delicious and all of our wishes were more than just satisfied. In the evening, we had a long talk at a camp fire with Kepora, one of the employees, and learned a lot about Tanzanian people and culture.
