This property was absolutely amazing! Cozy and comfortable! There were a lot of stairs in the home but otherwise everything was perfect! The host was very friendly and even let us leave our bags there early before our original check in time. Location was also great and in a nice neighborhood. We absolutely loved it!!!

The home is lovely and served our family of 6 needs! Agustina, the property manager, was an absolute pleasure to work with. The hospitality was above and beyond what you would expect of simply renting a home. Seriously. We really enjoyed our time there. Palermo was definitely lively at night, if that’s the scene you’re searching for; there were also several little grocery markets within walking distance.

This place had it all! Charm, gorgeous decor, a fully stocked kitchen (though we didn’t use it we were too busy eating all the amazing food within walking distance) all in the active Palermo Soho district. We were a group of adult friends in town for a wedding, and it was PERFECT for us. The accommodations are gorgeous, the balconies/terraces are plentiful and private! The host arranged us transport from the airport and even offered us the opportunity for an asado at the house (we did not book this only because we had most of our days planned and the wedding to attend).
My only caveat is if you have SMALL children this may not be your ideal location (in fact, all of Palermo soho may not be your ideal location!) because there’s a very vivid nightlife going on around you in the evenings (which we loved). The unit also has marble stairs at the front door and a spiral staircase up to the uppermost bedroom—great for us! Not so great if you have toddlers, so just be aware!! We couldn’t have been any happier!

It is a fabulous apartment in the middle of the best neighbourhood of Buenos Aires. The apartment manager was very friendly, and helpful. We would definitely stay there again!

We miss this house!
Our family had a fantastic stay at Casa Uriarte. The property manager was extraordinary helpful in quickly resolving some minor issues and was incredibly conscientious. He also helped by giving us ideas of places to go and things to do. Be aware that the bedrooms on the first floor receive a good bit of street noise, whereas the bedrooms on the middle and top floor are very insulated against the noise. The house is beautiful and has everything. Plus, wonderful neighborhood of Palermo Soho can't be beat. Highly recommend!

Beautiful house in best neighborhood
Two luxurious master bedrooms in upper floors, two twin rooms downstairs, several terraces, grand living and dining room, well-equipped for cooking and entertainment. Gorgeous area. Attentive caretaker. A gem for our family.

Lovely quirky spacious casa
We loved our stay at Casa Uriarte. As long as you don't mind steps this a is a great place to stay. Plenty of room, with lots of hangout nooks. We especially enjoyed the verandas. Its in a bustling spot in Palermo which we found gave us easy access to everything we wanted. Matt was always quick to respond when ever we had a question & made check in & check out a breeze as well as organizing airport transfers for us. We enjoyed a catered Asado at the house which we all agreed was our best meal of our whole trip. If we ever visit Buenos Aries again we would stay here in a heart beat.

Three Terraces!
One of the best features of this spacious apartment is the outdoor areas. There are three terraces, the largest includes a parilla. The areas have been recently repainted and new lighting installed, making them even more inviting. The large terrace was our favorite spot in the morning for breakfast, in the afternoon for relaxing after touring the city, and at night for a glass of wine. The interior is also large and comfortable for the rare cool or rainy day. The kitchen is well equipped and even has a dishwasher. With three bedrooms and two and a half baths this is a great choice for an extended stay. The location in the heart of Palermo Soho is unbeatable. There are more restaurants within easy walking distance than you could try in a month. Among our favorites were Don Julio, Chori, Il Materrello, and Siamo del Forno. It is a lively neighborhood and people stay out late, so there is some street noise. The master bedroom is well insulated from it, but the other two bedrooms can get some noise. Taxis are plentiful and not expensive for trips to other areas of the city. This is can easy five star rating. There are few properties with the features of this apartment.

The home is nice and clean but the noise from the restaurant and bar downstairs is loud and disrupted our sleep . That should be emphasized on the VRBO ad .
It was loud during closure of the place and people outsider were loud even after closure of the bar .
But we loved our overall stay in Buenos Aires

Worth Repeating
Our 5 week stay was so captivating that we immediately asked to reserve the same time next year. The size and features, especially the outdoor space, are hard to find in Buenos Aires. We were concerned having a bar located directly below us, but it wasn't an issue at all. The bar doesn't open until 6 PM and there is no live entertainment, so the noise level was no more than would be expected from having an apartment located below. Having previously stayed in Recoleta, we enjoyed the reduction in traffic and noise in Palermo, giving it the quiet feel of a neighborhood. The master bedroom suite is almost unimaginably large - huge walk in closet, king size bed with bed side tables on both sides and still plenty of space in the room, and the bathroom has double sinks and a shower large enough for two (or more). The terrace is on the same level and is equally big. The air conditioning is quiet and efficient - no need to leave it on when we went out because it would cool quickly when turned on. The house is well equipped, especially the kitchen, and very comfortable. Matt, the apartment manager, was both professional and personable. He gave us a thorough orientation to the apartment when we arrived, and kept us informed when the cleaning schedule unavoidably needed to be adjusted so we had time to modify our plans. He also prepared an asado on the terrace for four of us which was one of the highlights of our stay. If he offers, find a way to accept. We are looking forward to reconnecting with Matt when we return next year.

Beautiful, spacious home
Home is spacious and comfortable and in a great central location. However, this location and the acoustics in the home make for noisy nights. Home is not recommended for light sleepers.

Wonderful house, exactly as advertised. Terrific caretaker. Washer/Dryer a real bonus for long stays
This is a great house in a busy, popular, lively neighborhood that is full of bars, restaurants, stores, tourists, and young people. We wanted something that has a good Porteño character, rather than a modern place that could be anywhere. It's exceedingly comfortable for 6 people, and full of charm. The parrilla (grill/bbq) is wonderful, as are the caretaker Matt's asado skills. The only downside is noise from the bar downstairs, and the bus stop out the front door, especially on weekends. Otherwise, this is a great home base in a vast city. It was easy to find the right coffee place, bakery, empandadas, fresh pasta store, market, butcher, etc.

Spacious apartment with character in the best location
My family of four (with two young children) stayed at Casa Uriarte for three months over the fall and it was wonderful! We didn't want to leave. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and had so much character. We invited friends from BA to join us outside on the terrace for an asado and they couldn't believe what a nice apartment we had for our visit. Our family had plenty of space for the four of us, and grandparents visiting. Matt the manager of the property was extremely attentive and available during our stay. The neighborhood is safe, lively, and right in the middle of the city but close to the parks. Everything is right out your door and we got to know shop owners and cooks from our favorite restaurants. The neighborhood is loud -- very lively, which we liked -- but be aware of this as the restaurants and bars are open very late which makes for noisy evenings on the street. The master bedroom is very quiet, but the two bedrooms that face the street do get noise all through the night. This wasn't an issue really for as us my kids slept soundly but just something to know in advance. Thank you Hamish and Matt for such a lovely place to call "home" during our time in your beautiful city. We hope to return one day!

Nice property in a great location
We went to Buenos Aires to attend a wedding and visit family in the suburbs. We stayed in the Uriarte house for 7 days. It was spacious, comfortable and well located in Palermo Soho where you have a great number of bars and restaurants, a fun and relatively safe neighborhood. Matt, the property manager, was very helpful and accommodating with our needs, he provided us with great service and useful information. We greatly enjoyed our stay and recommend this property but be aware that Argentines are mostly night creatures and bars close at dawn so that makes for busy and noisy streets. This is not a problem for the master bedroom but can be an issue for the other two bedrooms if you need a quiet environment to sleep.

An amazing apartment in a great neighborhood. We could not have selected better accommodations. Three terrific bedrooms, a kitchen with all of the amenities. Two decks with barbecue which we took advantage of. Thank you Matt for the recommendations of the local butcher and instructions of how to. Wonderful family space with full dining room. Matt the caretaker over extended himself with his knowledge of the neighborhood and the surrounding areas. He made himself available for any and all questions. This turned out to be a great find and ended up to add be to a wonderful adventure. Thank you for a great week in Buenos Aires. We are ready for a new adventure in another of the owners properties. Outstanding

Fabulously located house: Palermo Viejo
Casa Uriarte is a rare gem: the house is spacious yet also intimate, it's in the centre of the action yet still private, it's sophisticated yet fun. We've now stayed a couple of times at Casa Uriarte and loved every minute. The decor and furnishings are tastefully done - homely, uncluttered, comfortable. There's space to chill out and entertain (the two roof terraces are great both for BBQs and sunbathing). The main bedroom is palatial, with a walk-in closet the size of most rental apartments alone. And, of course, the location is just terrific. Plaza Serrano a block or two away; two dozen restaurants and bars within a two minute walk. Great house, great location.

Best Place Ever!!
I have been traveling throughout Latin America for many years and stayed in many different places. Casa Uriarte is my favorite. It has an unassuming entrance in the middle of the most desirable part of Palermo, but as you walk in and up the stairs, a tastefully designed urban escape opens up that has provided me many great memories. It's an amazing place to chill, think sunbathing on the terrace or sitting by the gorgeous fireplace, but at the same time it's a perfect set up to entertain friends. I hope to be back soon!
