Great location with parking ( chargeable) lovely old building recently undergone extensive renovation. Chef prepared, lovely food. Local ales
The charm of an old building can also provide problems with narrow corridors, twists and turns and steps up and down here and there- but all part of the charm ! Oh - and it has a lift !

Location good
Had to pay extra for parking and it felt dated , felt like I was in a nursing home.
7.0
Location. Bedroom was comfortable and cosy
Restaurant was cold, heating not on and it was a very cold evening. Food was also very average

Fabulous hotel with so much history. Really nice relaxed atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff.
Food was great too.

Room was spacious with plenty of storage. Bathroom was very clean and modern.
Room was on the warm side due to the hot weather so had to keep window open. This wasn’t an issue for most of the night until the (kitchen?) ventilation fan came on around 6:00am which was located next door and very noisy so disturbed sleep.

Excellent location, old world charm, lovely staff, great choice at breakfast, parking available, excellent hospitality tray (great choice of tea and coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits replenished each day, still and sparkling water available in fridge), iron/ironing board, safe, great sized bathroom.
Bedroom size was small which is why I couldn’t recommend it as a romantic place to stay, decor starting to look a little shabby (throw on bed), service was a little slow in breakfast room but that is because there wasn’t many staff not because of a problem with the staff - they were excellent.

Great food, great location, great breakfast
Expensive evening meal, but was great quality
8.0
It was excellent - good presentation and tasty
They didn't clean our room on the first night so we kept having to ask.
5.0
Breakfast and Location good.
Hotel badly needs a completer redecoration. In parts very shabby. Carpeting not good. Bedroom lighting very poor

Old world appearance
Ridiculously expensive wine prices

I didn't like anything about this hotel
The whole place is tired and dirty

We do like Ludlow and the Feathers has good accommodation.
I am not happy with the food.
7.0
Location, suite room was nice
Small double as very small and radiator wouldn’t turn off had to be moved on third night.
Every morning the corridor door on the first floor landing had something in front of it hindering passage (a ladder; a mop bucket and cleaning materials with no hazard signs, shouldn’t be left there
3.0
Not much had curb appeal but that’s about it
Public areas very tired and outdated
Car park very difficult to access
Service very slow
Overcharged at the bar and when queries were batted off - had to email a complaint
Breakyservice very slow, continental breakfast choice very poor

Location
Advertised as sound proof could hear people walking down the hall outside our room, hear up stair room walking in round, could hear late night drinks outside our window, advertised mini bar a can of still water and a can of sparkling water does not make a mini bar.

The location in the middle of town is brilliant.
it would have been nice to be given options for alternative car parking as hotel car park was full, I do not know Ludlow therefore advice would have been much apprecaited
7.0
Lovely old historic building, nice bar area, Nice reception people.
Room 101 cozy double, size more suited to single rather than small double = difficult to open wardrobe doors - they opened until they hit the bed - could do with layout change,
Breakfast ok but I wouldnt have paid that price in a cafe, was just average.
Entrance to carpark daunting - not that you can do a lot with it as its an old building.
9.0
The age of it with modern facilities, the cleanliness and appearance. Comfortable room and lovely bathroom.
Lots of stairs however can only be expected in a property of this age with different levels.

Great location and nice room set up
Far too hot in the room had to have balcony door open all night to make it bearable
Floorboards above far too sneaky, felt like a herd of elephants above us between 11pm until 12.30 writing this review.
Noisy pipes
Two of the worst nights sleeps I’ve had in a hotel. Real shame as nice place but won’t be back due to these issues

Breakfast could be better.

Central location. You can walk to the castle and other tourist attractions. Comfortable room and great breakfast.
The room was very warm, so even with windows open, it was a bit uncomfortable for sleeping.

Good size Bedroom and bathroom were good and the modern colour scheme was good.
Room wasn’t cleaned properly and there was a lack of attention to detail. Wood work around the door needed repairing and painting. Unable to get a sandwich or afternoon tea after 3.30 on Sunday. Bill was wrong we had been charged for breakfast for Sunday when we didn’t check in until 1.30 pm and Tuesday and Wednesday morning when we didn’t have breakfast, it was rectified when pointed out. Parking charge for resident’s disappointing.

Really nice historic hotel with an amazing history. Perfect location for Ludlow. Rooms were clean and tidy with good facilities. Great for a weekend.
Car park gets very full, and there are limited parking options nearby. Could also do with a general tidy up outside especially in the courtyard garden, eg litter and coke cans on the flat roof outside 151.
8.0
Very central, was able to park. The quietest hotel I have ever stayed in
Not a major issue, but there was a freezing cold draught from the bathroom window that seem to be painted shut. We stuffed the huge gap with a towel. And one of the bedside lamps wasn’t working.
8.0
Breakfast was excellent
The carpark fees was too expensive. The duvet was too small for the bed

Very comprehensive breakfast of excellent quality
Have control of the heating in the bedrooms. Although the weather was cold outside, the rooms were very hot.

We had a full English everything was perfect
It’s only a minor thing but our window wouldn’t open and was warmer than we would have liked. It wouldn’t stop us staying again though.
7.0
We did not take breakfast as there were lovely independent cafes in town which were far more reasonable
The room was v small as advertised. The towel heater in the bathroom couldnt be turned off which made the room sweltering all night even in the winter. It was unbearable so we didnt sleep well at all even with the window open. Be aware that they take a £40 deposit at reception on arrival even when the room has already been paid for.

As expected in an inn this size the room was small , but it had all of the amenities that you require and at this time of year the price was reasonable
The downstairs are should have a little more heating , the fire was set but had not been started so it was a little cool when sitting with a drink
